The easiest place to do business with. I needed a front brake rebuild, I was scheduled quickly, and my car was done before they said it would be. My brakes feel better than they have ever felt, I will recommend this shop to my friends and family.

I worked Ford motor company for 10 years in parts and service. I know all aspects of customer service and repair. Excellent job at both. I will be a return customer.I returned with my 99 toyota tacoma. They did a great job. You might pay a little more , You are working with good people and that is worth paying for.

I called AAMCO friday needing work done asap so I could make the 2000 mile trip back home. They got me in yesterday morning and I already got my vehicle back today! My van had some transmission issues and hesitation problems but the guys at AAMCO fixed everything and my vehicle is running smoothly again. It sounds better than the day I bought it and it rides so quietly now. I choose this shop because of their google reviews so I am happy to add another 5 star review to their site. I cant express how happy you guys have made me and my family. We really really appreciate AAMCO's hard work and timely performance esp given such short notice. 100% would reccomend. Also really friendly receptionist lady. In the waiting area she let my kids get into their fridge and grab a few drinks!

I brought my car in thinking it was the transmission and learned it was a small oil leak instead. Easily fixable. No charge. I would definitely trust them to treat you right!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Devon and the crew were fantastic. They rebuilt the rearend in my 2005 Jeep Grand cherokee. I highly recommend them. Service was great. Explained what l needed done. Work done in a very timely manner.

I took my truck in for its 60k service and was told it'd be a couple of hours. I only waited for 1 hour and they did an awesome job. Very friendly people and punctual.

I needed a new clutch and gear changeout in my Ford F350 so I called AAMCO and they were able to get me in quickly. Devin the shop lead gave me price quotes (which they adhered to) and also kept me in the loop thru the whole process. They also noticed a few minor issues and took the initiative to repair them and that was cool. You'll like these guys as they are honest, knowledgeable professionals that appreciate your business and they do what they say they'll do. I will definitely go back to them in the future knowing that they'll take care of my truck like it was their own. Thanks guys!

I am SO thankful for this AAMCO. All of the staff here has been AMAZING! I like to get updates, and they have constantly kept me in mind every step of the way. They don't mind my questions and every person I have spoken with has been so polite. I just have to highlight Devon and Kristina. After our vehicle was initially repaired, we moved up to Washington State and had a little problem. My first phone call was to Devon, who immediately reassured me it was still under warranty and that I could go to any AAMCO and he would have it taken care of. I picked the wrong AAMCO (Do NOT go to Lakewood WA AAMCO), and it became a total disaster. Devon and Kristina immediately stepped in, got everything figured out, and rescued my truck from the shop (with the help of her husband who graciously took time off work to help get things fixed). They are HANDS DOWN some of the best people I have met in my life. They went totally above and beyond to take care of me. I have never been more thankful to have met them, even if it was just over the phone since we aren't in the area. If you are in this area, I 100% recommend this shop. They are honest, hardworking and fair. You won't be disappointed.Service: Transmission

We recently had a clutch replacement done at Aamco Springfield. This was the first time using their service and we were super impressed!It can be stressful trying to decide where to get your car repaired because you want to feel like it s someone who is honest and that you can trust to get the work done right.Devon and his team communicated with us regularly, and promptly if things changed. Each time I called, they were readily available to speak to me about our car. They were more than fair with us on price and options. We didn t feel pressured at all.We were able to have our car towed directly to the shop and they kept it behind locked gates while it was there. We were surprised that they got us right in and had the repair done quickly and professionally, and for less than their original quote!This will definitely be our new go to repair shop for all of our family s vehicles.Service: Transmission

I Took my 2001 Jeep grand Cherokee, Limited, to the Springfield location 2 days ago. They performed diagnostics and came up with a few issues, in light of the codes that popped up. They addressed the issues to the very best of their abilities however, with an intermittent problem, especially an electrical one, it is next to impossible to trace down. They solved 2 issues for me with outstanding customer service and technician performance. However, The secondary issue is requiring an electrical specialist, and they referred me to the correct facility that can adequately handle the issue. I have to tell you, in all of my 50+ years of coming to automobile repair facilities, these guys are absolutely top-notch. When you read this review, please take it to heart because I do not give compliments of this magnitude out randomly nor unnecessarily. I am a business person and believe that it takes years to get your customers business and trust, and only seconds to lose both of those. These folks out at Aamco in Springfield have earned my business for life. If you have an issue with your transmission, please trust that you do not want to take it anywhere else. I had them install a new transmission in my work van. 3 months later when it fell out on the ground due to the bolts not being properly tightened they charged me $7000 to fix their mistake. They claimed that it was caused by the motor being over reved.....in a driveway. Totally unwilling to own their mistake.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Sunday I started to have transmission issues with my SUV, then the check engine light came on. Parked it, researched where I could go locally, Monday Morning took me right in did a diagnostic and test drove it Devan let me know what the possible issue was, scheduled me for another appointment this week. The staff at Springfield AAMCO - Devon and Mike were great! They serviced my allison transmission with 250,000 miles on it and reported no problems with the unit. Mike explained in detail the servicing process and the myriad of things they checked. Excellent shop with excellent technicians that diagnosed my issues quickly and were quick to get me into their garage and begin working on my truck. The shop is definitely known for their transmission work but these guys do a lot of other services so give them a call. I don t think they were on my warranty companies list of preferred partners for service but they probably would be in the future because they work on the same evaluation for parts and labor that Aamco does so I was especially pleased with the fact that I only had to pay my deductible in order to get the service that I needed. To me, that means that this shop doesn t overcharge people for services and that is some thing that I think most of us are always afraid of when we take our vehicles into shops. Bryan and the team at AAMCO in Springfield are top-notch. I highly recomend them and wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Totally trustworthy and honest. Those aren't typically words used to describe an automotive shop but I assure you that these guys have the highest integrity and they deliver on-time. Thank you for everything you did for me to get my car fixed and back on the road quickly

While on vacation in Oregon in June, our transmission decided to take a dump. Fortunately we were camping on a friend's property in McKenzie Bridge. Our treatment at the Springfield AAMCO was stellar. FromOwner/Operations Mgr Devon to the mechanics to the angel employee Krystina, who chauffeured us to pick up our rental car, rather than us having to call an Uber. Above and beyond customer service & a great job on our Chevy truck. Would highly recommend.

I always appreciate a mechanic that doesn t talk down to me. Mike is very nice and was patient when I asked to ship a part to him myself. They also got my transmission fixed up faster than I expected which is another super plus. Definitely coming back next time I have issues.

As a business owner and customer, I m very happy and impressed with the high quality of service and professionalism I received from AAMCO in Springfield.I needed my trucks manual transmission rebuilt as quickly as possible as it is my work truck and I make a living using it. I was amazed how courteous and polite Mike was on the phone and in person. His knowledge of the process and expertise stand above all others. As I had contacted 2 other shops and one was not able to get my truck in time and the other one was outrageously overpriced, whereas Mike at Amco was not only reasonably priced but was able to get me in right away.In addition, two months after the installation of my new transmission there was a small fluid leak. I contacted Mike and he told me to bring it in and he take a look at it. They brought my truck in fixed,it and informed me that it was because the other shop had not tightened some bolts that was causing the leak, and they did not charge me for it.I highly recommend them and will use them again should the need arise!Thanks again Mike for such great service!Kyle VogtOwner,Cascade Finishes LLC
