One of those special mechanics you are glad to find that knows what they are doing, speaks straight to you, and isn't going to charge dealership prices.When my vehicle broke down in the middle of nowhere, all the towing companies within hours to AAA to a shop refused to drive where I was. The tow in town's vehicle was in the shop, and when it seemed like no one would drive to my location, Verlin came to tow my vehicle.He fixed my vehicle up and charged a reasonable price considering the repair could have been in the thousands.Christmas Valley is lucky to have him.

Great customer service, good honest mechanic and at an affordable price. Got my trucks fixed fast!Edit... I just got another truck back from Verlyn. He did a lift, front and back brakes. This was for a FRACTION of the price Les Schwab quoted me and BY FAR better work.Thank you so much for getting our vehicles ready for Kentucky! You are a true gem in this area!

Verlyn is the best! So is his sweet dog Bella, who stays by his side as he works. I am not at all surprised to see so many rave reviews for this mechanic, as he was clearly super knowledgeable, efficient, and kind to us when we called him in a pinch at 4:45 pm on a Friday when our engine light came on and car was lurching as we drove down the freeway. Verlyn did not hesitate to let us come in that afternoon, and he quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered a part to arrive the next afternoon. The part arrived on time and he got it done in under an hour which was the timeframe he quoted us. I was so impressed and so grateful that he was able to help us so quickly, all while working through the weekend nonetheless. He runs his business completely by himself and clearly has an incredible work ethic. I will be forever grateful for his help and wish him all the best!! Thank you Verlyn and Bella!!

While staying in Silver Lake we needed to find a close enough mechanic to get our car serviced. This place was a life saver! I called ahead to see if he was able to work on our car (it's foreign) on short notice and not only was he able to, he was also able to order a part and have it delivered by the next day. He was very understanding of how far we had to drive to get to him and he made sure to stay in contact with us so we didn't miss the appointment. He was quick to work and thorough. Best mechanic I've been to and with honest pricing!

Verlyn at V&V automotive is by far the best mechanic I've ever done business with. I am a Sales Manager for an RV company out of Washington state, therefore hadn't ever use V&V before. My company diesel dually broke down on the side of a busy freeway while towing a 43' fifth wheel through rural Oregon. After many phone calls trying to find a tow company or mobile mechanic were unsuccessful; I found Verlyn at V&V. He sympathized with my struggles of having an employee stranded and dropped everything he was doing to help get us back on the road as quick as possible. This included him driving 2 hours round trip to go get a part from the closest in stock location. He had the issue diagnosed in under 15 minutes and went to work fixing our truck on the side of the road. He got us back on the road very quickly and made it possible to continue on with our intended delivery schedule the same day. All of this coordination and Verlyn's genuine willingness to help someone in a tough spot as well as not price gouging like other shops and mechanics I've dealt with. All of this, and we aren't even an existing client of his. I hope to never be in the position I was in again, but am thankful that there are business owners out there like Verlyn. You will be taken care of if you choose V&V Automotive. I cannot articulate how pleasant this experience was considering the circumstances, and I highly recommend anyone else looking for honest diagnosis, repair, and above the standard care and service to look no further than this shop. Thank you again!!!!!

Verlon is one of the most genuine people I've met in the service trades. I had an issue while traveling through the area with my diesel truck. Verlon took me in without a wait and deduced the problem with my DEF injector. He was resourceful and got me patched up in short time. He saved me from a rather large tow bill. Thanks, Verlon!

Great mechanic. Knowledgeable and honest. Initial part estimate came back a little higher but he was forthright about it. When I got there he had everything dialed in and my Toyota Tacoma ready to go. Greatly appreciate the service, especially being out in a small town!

Snows coming this week! I needed a quick repair. V&V auto replaced the heater blower in my Chevy HHR. Mr. Foster went out of his way to be helpful. His charges are reasonable and he did a great job. Just in time! Thank You V&V Automotive

Just wanna give HUGE RAVE to V&V Automotive. He is amazing. Got my car running and back on the road in a couple days. Found things wrong I didn't know about but let us know before he did any more work. Great prices too. Will be using him for all our car needs. This disabled momma has got her wheels back. Woohoo.

Our radiator broke just outside Christmas Valley on the tail end of a road trip and Verlyn got us back on the road the same day, despite the challenge of sourcing the parts needed on a Saturday! Also, the shop dog is real cute :)
