Blake at Bowman Motors is everything you could want in a mechanic. He is super knowledgeable about cars, super easy to work with, fast, and affordable. I will be taking all my vehicles to him for servicing for the foreseeable future

I've been using Bowmen motors since they opened. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. They are very fair in price and I've experienced they are much more reasonable in price than other mechanics. Today he helped be get my truck started just talking over the phone so I'm able to drive it to them for repair as opposed to having it towed. I highly recommend them. Amazing mechanic with prices that are beyond reasonable!I'm a farm girl with lots of experience dealing with car problems. When I needed a new water pump and timing belt, I was dreading the whole experience of finding a mechanic. Blake confirmed my issue and found some others but said that they could be done later. He never tried to strong arm me into more repairs than needed and never talked down to me. He showed me all the prices for parts and he is generous with his labor. He is super fast and efficient. He got everything done in a quarter of the time others had quoted. I look forward to doing business with him again, which is something I have NEVER said regarding a mechanic.Thank you Bowman Motors!

You always want to find an honest mechanic and Bowmen Motors is just that. Blake is not only a great mechanic but an honest one. I never hesitate going there or trusting his diagnosis. He lets us know if its something we can wait a little bit on or should really be fixed now. Can't say enough good things about him.

Highly Recommend! My daughter's PT Cruiser died and the battery light was on. Changing the alternator or belts on this care are very expensive. I charged my battery and drove it to Bowman Motors about 15 minutes before closing time. The mechanic came out immediately, looked under the hood, and found the problem in about 1 minute. He then told me that it was probably something I could fix myself and showed me how to do it. I drove off, followed his advice, and fixed my car. He could have charged me at least $500 dollars for fixing my car or putting in a new alternator, but did the right thing. There are probably a lot of good mechanics out there, but finding an honest mechanic was like striking oil!!!! High Recommend!

I recently bought a used Jeep and was dreading taking it into a shop. I assumed they would tell me that everything was wrong with my vehicle that I could possibly imagine. I was prepared to fight off the "you need new wiper blades, and filters, and blah, blah, blah," but Blake with Bowmen Motors didn't make me deal with any of that.I called to set up an appointment for an oil change and to have my brake pads swapped out (one of them is squealing really bad). After looking over the maintenance records from the previous owner of the Jeep, I realized they had just swapped them out six months ago. I called up Bowmen Motors and told Blake that I was going to hold off on swapping the brakes, again, expecting the "that's really something you should have done if they're squealing," but instead he explained that it's likely just lesser quality brake pads that haven't adjusted to the temperature change from summer to winter.I don't have the space nor tools to work on my own vehicle, so finding a reputable, honest shop to take care of my vehicle when I need it taken care of has been a priority. I know that this review is based off of an oil change, but Blake proved himself more than worthy of my business after he destroyed all of my presumptions about mechanics. Not once was any unnecessary service or product even remotely suggested, and he even quelled my fears that my vehicle was a ticking maintenance time bomb.If you're looking for a shop that won't intimidate you into throwing unnecessary garbage into your vehicle, Bowmen Motors is the place, and Blake is your guy.

Went in for a tune up and was given an estimate, dropped truck off and was called a couple of times to ask if i wanted to repair some other things that looked in need of repair: $15-$30 items which i thought was considerate. Came to pick truck up and bill was a lot higher than expected and gentlemen said he repaired a couple other things and would have called again but said: "figured you'd probably say yes" which i thought was inconsiderate. Went in for a tune up because i had a $30 off coupon from the local high school and still walked out with over $400 in repairs
