Machine just kept eating quarters but it never started. I put 5 dollars in before I noticed it was not going to start. Service door was open, but nobody to be found. I won't be going back. Looking forward to the other car wash opening back up.

Definitely a costly lesson well learned!!!First time taking my car through a touch less and I don't know if any of the others are any better, but this one is a complete rip off!!Ended up having to take a towel u had in my trunk and wiping of the dirt that was not even touched!! And drying off my car because the blower didn't even dry it half way!Would have been a better wash just letting the rain do the job and wiping it with a rag myself!!Avoid this place unless you enjoy throwing your hard earned money away!!!

EDIT-UPDATE!-Apparently my thorough review was not detailed enough for the manager. I got the sense he felt that I need him to explain to me how to swipe my debit card, receive only 3 minutes of time before being prompted to swipe the card again, help selecting the proper switch for type of wash, or more importantly help understanding the business concept of word of mouth and customers. Maybe Monte is the one who need a accurate period of instruction on how to run a business without trying to steal peoples hard earned money. Just because one human thinks it is "standard" has no bearing on the actuality of if it is honest or not to any "normal customer". That is not acceptable to any future "potential customer" as I have demonstrated. I would never ask for or authorize a car wash to hold my money, I pay the bank to hold my money. This car wash stole my money and I reported it. There is nothing more to discuss. Continue reading the initial review so you the "potential customer" can be the judge of accuracy. Thieves and my process with the results. I swiped my debit card for the required $3.00, 3 minutes minimum time. I began washing, 3 minute time ran out and there was no soap. I swiped my card a second time, for another 3 minutes required purchase time and another $3.00 and repeated the process. The time ran out. Again no soap. I am beginning to think that the idea of soap coming out of the wand here was going to be the only demonstration from this company of their verbal interpretation of accuracy when it comes to "value of service". Charge the customer for a product that does not exist. Great for maximization of profit due to cost savings, I just experience the results, but it only got worse. The swipe the card routine was getting old, but I continued for a 3rd time to finish washing and rinsing. The 3 minutes ran out and I had finished rinsing a car, not really washing it. Its only if you think that washing it is defined as soap coming out of the wand when the proper "pink" soap selector is selected. So, 3 sessions of swiping the card at $3.00 a pop mathematically equals $9.00 charged for a mostly nonexistent car washing but semi thorough rinsing, due to the company not having soap present to wash with. Not good value. It only gets worse. I needed to vacuum the vehicle. I pulled up and again swiped my card for the minimum required $2.50 which now totals $11.50 total. I finished and left! Here is how this business demonstrates, not says in replies or advertising, but literally demonstrates what it thinks of new customers. The company changed me straight up $10.00 even for each and every swipe I made with my card for a grand total charged of $40.00. That is a total of $29.50 of fraudulent charges this compony made on my card. Solution. Report this company, get my money back, get a new card. Effects? On this business? Who cares? See, its just my friend who I tell about Seaside Car Wash, who does what I tell him to, just like his friend who also does the same thing, and that happens at an exponential rate in that place called the future. On my bank? Oh, well, this company affects that bank in the following manner. I made sure the bank was aware of this, just for accuracies sake. Do you go to 7-Eleven give the employee your card for an item and have 3x the amount put on hold? No. This company became a cost to that bank in the form of expedited FedEx shipments that get paid for by the bank to get me a new debit card. My bank had to pay because of the fraud this company committed! Wow what a way to show other not only the customer how much they care, but how much they care about other companies like banks as well. So be the judge for yourself if you would even take into consideration doing business with Seaside Car Wash. Is taking care of customer data and not trying to illegally charge them things you look for in a company? Don't ever do business with this company, as they obviously choose to demonstrate how much they really care about you, the potential future customer, through theft.

Why did you remove the spot free rinse? I litetally drive here from the east end of astoria weekly to wash my vehicle JUST FOR THE SPOT FREE RINSEEdited 12/15/2023I'm talking about the coin operated pressure washer. Not the drive through. You used to have a spot free option, and removed it and replaced it with air that isn't powerful enough to blast the water off the vehiclesYou can't tell me the high pressure rinse is spot free.

If you drove on the beach, it's wise to stop here. It's Quick, it's easy, and the light show is great when the sun goes down!.

Great car wash. Touchless, and it works well. Prices are reasonable. Vacuums work well, and the place is kept clean. I only wish they had a garbage to help with vehicle clean out, however I can understand why they choose not to, based on the piles of over flowing trash I have seen at car washes that do have garbage cans.

Great touch less car wash! Like the ones in the big city, but cheaper price. $14 is a fair deal. In the city I was paying $23. Best car wash on the coast

We were in the drive-through at the taco place next door, and were kind of amazed at the touchless wash...it flat out pumps the water and adds many layers of soap that smell delicious! So, of course, we had to try it out, twice, during our beach getaway! Great clean!

This car wash was fun!! Felt very futuristic, and my car was cleaner than the drive-through one's when done. It was even able to get up under the back window overhang thing, (lol- not sure what it's called). The only drawback was the dryers. They did not get the sides dry at all, but I would go back regardless. Wish we had one of these at home!

Worst car wash ever. 2 drive through wash bays, out of order. 1 of 2 self wash bays out of order. Self wash brush is on last leg probably scratched my car and you have no way to tell what nozzle you should be using. I should have just used the hose at my Airbnb house.Seaside Car Wash, get it together or shut it down.

I go here every now and then through the no touch wash, which is the only type of automated wash they have. It does an okay job. Usually, one of the two washes is down. They used to offer water with a scrub brush for you to pre-scrub, but no longer do.This would be a 2.5 if that was an option. It just doesn't get 9+ dollars clean.

I love this car wash! It's a laser car wash, meaning nothing hard or damaging touches your vehicle. And when it's finished, the car is shiny and clean. I went two days in a row while in the area I loved it so much.

Came by today with my dusty Subaru that was desperately in need of a wash. I stuck my debit card in and it denied it, something wrong with my chip.. I was backing up to leave.. but a gentleman offered to help me and so I pulled back in and he tried it and it did not work. He offered to pay for it on the house. I was so thankful because I ve been having the worst summer, mom has Alzheimer s and is forgetting everything.. I m trying to let her enjoy the few sunny days left, before she fades into the abyss.. and forgets about everything and everyone .. that kind gesture made my month, and brought me to tears.. goodness still exists and what comes around , does go around .. Thank you again & the wash was perfect.

Great small town car wash. I have only experienced 1 problem and management addressed my issue quickly. The 13$ car wash is my favorite with 2 types of washes, for big vehicles and compact vehicles. The car vacuuming station is nice with multiple options like, vacuums, carpet shampooing, and fresh pleasant scents to spray out for your cars interior. It starts off at 2.50 and you can switch between vacuum, shampoo, and scents easily without having to pay separately. I recommend giving them a try.

Beware. I vacuumed my car for 5 minutes and got charged $10.00. I just looked at my bank statement and was blown away.

Be careful, you will get paint chip after washing your car here.Responding to the owner reply,I have a new car in a great condition, I wash it all the time in PDX area (the real car wash!) And never had any issues until I used your car wash and got paint chip right away. I wish I never came here! Instead of arguing with my review you should take a serious search on your machine because you cost me lots of money and damage to my car and I thought to let others know before any damages cause by your machine.

**Started with 3 stars and will knock down to 1 after the repsonse. Complete uncalled for and unprofessional response of the owener/manager. If you think this will want me to come back as a customer you are mistaken. I also encourage others to take a look at how this person treats others and how they run a buisness. Now you have a real failing review.*Despite putting the quarters in slowly like the sign said on the vending machine it still ate some and didn't come out when tried the cancel button. I could clearly see them stuck. One vacuum the suction was not good, so I switched and the other was much better. Automatic car wash was fine.

Paid $13 for a car wash. I drove into the car wash and it started. The mechanism moved from front to back soaking the car with some substance. Then it stopped moving. It never did continue. There was no attendant and no phone number posted to contact management. I had to drive home and rinse the stuff off the car. I'm out $13. Bad place do not patronize.

Super strong water pressure really cleans off the dirt from camping in the forest! Also really love that you can choose in real time which parts of the wash cycle you want and how long you want to use them.

Reasonably priced for a touch less drive thru car wash and it did a great job cleaning the vehicle. Convenient location. They also have self cleaning bays and vacuums.

If you drove on the longest beach in WA like I did, you re going to need to come here. It was a great car wash. I would run through it twice. Take your time driving in for the undercarriage wash

One side of our vehicle was okay, the other side was still dirty. This carwash has no brushes, some might prefer that. But the passenger side device was not working well at all. I got the highest wash, and would have been better using a garden hose.

I've been through quite a few touchless car washes and am usually pleased with the results. Not so much in this case. We purchased the 2nd tier wash, at $8, and it left about 50% of the grim. The pay station didn't leave a receipt so there's not much to prove I even purchased the wash. I would skip this one, my car is still dirty and I'm $8 poorer
