Small locally owned and operated auto repair shop. I have known Mark for years, he's usually booked out quite a ways, totally worth the wait, cause quality of work can't be beat. Only place I'll go, if I opt to not do the repairs myself !!

Mark is big Master and his body John also great person. Mark s daughter also very kind and they are all work like a team and professional, make everything easy. When I went they re store I feel something warm, peaceful atmosphere. They explain what is the problem and what they are going to do for fix. I meet with them first time but I feel like I am there familiar. I really recommend them. Kind of business maker s great example for academic economy s researchers and business journals. Amazing car repair and service! Thought I was going to have to wait weeks to get in when I called last week. They took me in 10 minutes, and had the repairs done in 1/2 hour, for a reasonable price! Friendly folks!

Does great work. Does an excellent job of communicating and showing you what he's found and what he intends to do. Some shops do good work but fall down in the communication department. Not Mark. I shouldn't recommend this shop because more customers means a longer wait for me in the future, but I do recommend it.

My dodge was making a noise at I thought it was maybe serious he looked at the belt and it turned out it just had a little rust but it was fine! Thank you so much my mind is at ease

they went above and beyond and very quickly diagnosed that the issue that ended up being way less significant and easy than we initially thought! Highly recommend if you need auto work in Seaside

Our car broke down about 30 miles from Seaside on our way to vacation. Towed it to Mark's auto and called him in the morning to see if they could fix our car before we had to check out of our hotel the next day. Mark and his staff were amazing, friendly, and the best way I could describe them: salt of the earth people. Daci, the office manager, is a complete Angel. As worried and anxious as I was and kept calling, she never made me feel like a nuisance, but was always understanding, courteous, and patient. She even offered to pick me up from my hotel which was a couple of miles away from their shop, but it was a beautiful day, so I walked. Arrived at the shop, and they thoroughly explained their work. As an example of how fair, reasonable, and professional they were, they also checked and changed my engine oil, which was dangerously low. In addition, they could have ordered a new alternator from a local shop, but Daci explained that they've had too many problems with those alternators and ordered a quality alternator from Portland. Other less honest and caring shops could have overcharged us with a cheaper alternator, which may have broken again quickly. The sum of our interactions can only tell me that Mark's Auto service is the real deal. They literally "saved" our family's vacation. What could have been a disaster ended up with minimal damage and a wonderful time for the entire family. Thank you so much Mark and staff!

We just started on our vacation and our car broke down. We found Mark online.Mark over delivered in every way. Fair price and quick service. This family owned business is by far the best service I have ever experienced. My only complaint is we can only give them a 5 star recommendation. They were definitely A TEN STAR performer. You guys are the best.

Our air conditioner quit on the way to Seaside for vacation. After calling a few other places, Mark's was the first one able to do a/c service. After a very quick check of the system, Mark could not find anything obvious. Then he asked if we had replaced our cabin filter. We never had. He had the filter out in a few minutes, and it was filthy. He ordered a new one from Warrenton and had us in good shape in less than 1.5 hours. Labor and parts came to a little over $50. Excellent! Very friendly staff, too.

Mark is a genuine honest mechanic. Brought my truck in after getting a check engine light while drive in from Portland and he found the issue. If I lived locally I would bring all my vehicles to him. Highly recommended!

Had a coolant leak in my Chevy van they took it in and with in an hour located the issue and by the end of the day i was back on the road. Also the mechanic took the time to show and explain to me what had happened to my van. Excellent customer service. I will definitely take my future car problem to them first. Thanks marks auto service.

My car started running rough and the Service Engine light came on while I was on vacation in Gearhart. My hotel recommended Snooks in Seaside, but they told me they were booked up for several days (and weren't especially friendly or helpful, either). I found Mark's by Googling auto repair shops. Mark immediately sized up the problem, ran the codes, located the parts and gave me an estimate. His daughter gave me a ride back to my hotel, then called me a few hours later when the car was ready and came and picked me up again. The place isn't all that impressive to look at but they're friendly and give great service and Mark did excellent work.

We were traveling and had starting problems. Mark found the problem and promptly called us, we were back on the road in a couple of hours. They were *Friendly, *Patient- (he listened to my extended symptom dialogue) *Experienced, *Competent & *Reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Marks Auto Service of Seaside, OR.

Took our 35' motorhome; Ford v 10. there for an oil and filter change. Ask them to look at my generator oil. Very courteous, great price compared to estimates from other. They could have called and said my generator needed oil, but said it looked good to go. $5 of the $36 went to a children's charity I gave them an extra $5. Honest people are hard to find these days.

Great customer service right from the first call. Mark and Dacei explained everything they were finding on my car. Mark took the time to look everything over to make sure I would have no further problems. Glad it turned out I only had a battery that was going bad. I would recommend the service they provide.

Our 2003 Jeep Liberty suddenly lost the ability to accelerate on the way into Seaside so I called Mark's at 4:30PM, half an hour before closing, to see if he could take a look at it that evening which he did. As soon as we drove into the garage he could hear the clanging from underneath and already had suspicions about the problem. After taking a look underneath he could tell that the CV joint would need to be replaced which he showed us and then took the time to explain in further detail while finding out the price of the part and printing a quote. He was able to get the part, replace it, and had us out the door by 11AM the next morning which was important to us since we had work to complete in the area. He even gave us a ride to our hotel and had us picked up the next day. The service was unparalleled and the pricing excellent. Go to this shop and you will not be disappointed!

We went to marks to get oil leaks checked out and have our engine cleand to see where oil leaks were. They had excellent service and even took our car for a test drive. Very personable service for a fair price i will be going back and will recomend marks to anyone!

Our window motor died on the way over and our window was stuck down. Worried about the rain we stopped in here hoping for a quick fix. Even though they couldn't fix it right away without the parts they helped us get the window up as far as possible and let us use their duct tape for free! Thanks guys!

On my way to the beach, with my 7 year old in the back seat, the engine stalled going through the coast range. I found this shop on Google and they squeezed me in. They are a honest family shop, would recommend to anyone!

Called for a brake job, was told they only do complete brake replacements including calipers because of " the climate here". They quoted me 1300.00. no thanks!
