After asking many friends for mechanic referrals, we took our car in to Doc's for a repair and had a great experience! Very professional communications, got the car fixed quickly, and priced fairly. I highly recommend, and will be back next time we have a repair need.

It's rare to find a mechanic shop that listens to their customer, addresses the actual issue with the vehicle, and doesn't demand a body part for compensation. I paid less than I do for a diagnostic at most places to actually have my high mileage car back in working order. Thank you to everyone at Doc's, but especially the lady in the front office, you're a gem!

Doc's saved our vacation road trip.We were stranded at our campsite. Doc came on the weekend to our site and fixed the problem, enabling our family to continue our road trip from British Columbia to Southern California.Just overall great service. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers.If I lived in Seaside, doc's would be my go to mechanic.

This guy should have six stars. I broke down coming from Marysville WA. Had my truck towed in to Seaside OR. He helped way more than I anticipate. He also has a big heart. I honestly wish he had a shop in my area, I'd send every friend, family member too him. I appreciate people that appreciate people and this country of ours. This isn't a Republican or Democratic statement, it's a heart felt one. He helped me and my hats off to him and his team. Appreciate this place!

Excellent customer service. I was passing through town and had some engine trouble. I phoned and they were sure to squeeze me in with no notice.When I arrived I was asked my 3 different mechanics if I had been helped.Turned out it was something simple and I was on my way.Felt really appreciated there and would definitely give my business to them again.

Brought my 2014 Dodge Charger in for diagnostic on a check engine light and hard idle. Doc's did the diagnostic on a Friday Holiday weekend, and had to order parts. I got a phone call from Lee Ann, apologizing they couldn't get the parts the same day to fix asking if we could do the repair "next business day". Next business day I dropped my car and 4 hours later got a call that the car was good to go. It's running better than it has in a year!!the Team at Doc's is amazing (especially Lee Ann). Doc's did the front brakes on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm from out of town. I am very thankful I found a repair shop I can trust. Doc's was found to be honest - didn't try to up-sell unnecessary repairs. Highly recommend!

Doc's Auto Repair saved our vacation bacon! At our last oil change our Subie dealer told us our 5-year old battery was "getting a little weak," and we made it all the way to Seaside before it started giving alarming warning signs. Doc's fit us in for a new battery, no appointment needed, less than 10 minutes! Friendly staff who obviously know their stuff. I love a repair place that has a few fancy/racy cars parked here and there; these people obviously love cars :)Service: Battery service

What a wonderful owner and crew! Very kind. I live out of my car and they were very understanding with my need for timing to get my vehicle back. They went out of their way to make sure my vehicle was safe to drive and I would make job interviews I had the same day.10/10 would recommend. Kind, respectful and was talked to throughout the process. No money grabbing undertones like some mechanics I ve experienced. Truly a great spot to take your vehicle!

We came from out of town (Sandy Or). We thought we had a dead battery, so we purchased one from Les Schwab. That didn t end up being the issue. We went to Doc s auto repair, on a Thursday night when they were trying to get out of there for a week vacation, just a couple minutes before closing. I m not sure if it was Doc, but he told us to back up and open the hood. He immediately knew the issue. We needed a new starter!! We wanted to say thank you, and we appreciate you so much! We will be in touch soon, we owe you!

We were stranded in seaside with a bad alternator and had no idea to take it to, I checked reviews and found great reviews with Doc's Auto Repair and let me tell you they were fantastic, it's hard enough to find a good auto repair place in your own town, and being out of town you are at the mercy of the shop. But not with Doc's, they were friendly promised the vehicle would be fixed early in the afternoon and did not rip me off on price.And its not like this was the only vehicle they were working on, they are very busy probably because people trust Doc's.Rest assured if you need your vehicle fixed take it to Doc's you won't be disappointed

I was out in Seaside on a road trip from Arizona and unfortunately my battery died. However, I got a jump and drove down to Doc's Auto and the service was AMAZING. The owner is so friendly and helpful and I would wholeheartedly use Doc's for all my auto needs, but I live in AZ so I can't.... but if you are reading this and are in Seaside or even just NEAR Seaside, definitely go here! I had to get my battery driven from Astoria because it's semi-rare, but other than waiting on that these guys are so fast and efficient. As soon as my battery arrived it was installed in my car and tested to ensure it was working properly. PLUS I got a warranty on the battery! One of the best experiences I've had in my life. If you are a lady like me and are worried about mechanics upselling unnecessary things, you will not need to worry about that here. I cannot recommend Doc's enough.Service: Battery

Doc s was amazing! I just moved to town yesterday and needed some immediate assistance.They fixed a wheel bearing missing bolt situation from my last mechanic s faulty work. Charged me a reasonable price, they were fast, friendly, gave me some local insights since I m brand new to the area, and even got my cargo rack opened that had gotten stuck from my stuff shifting during travel! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I ll be going to Doc for any auto needs going forward.

Doc's fit me into their packed schedule same day and quickly replaced our alternator and fixed our locked gas cap. Very professional, efficient and a very fair price. we are traveling and our van broke down, whole other mechanics wouldn t get us in for 3 weeks, Docs offered to stay late to help us. they got our van in right away, they were incredibly kind and helpful. It ended up being a quick and easy fix. We are so appreciative and we re able to get back on the road (3000 miles home!) within 3 hours of breaking down. thank you guys again!Service: Transmission

My wife and I were on vacation in Seaside, OR. when we encountered a problem with our van. The check engine light came on and it was running very rough. This was about 12:00 pm on a Friday.I knew that we had to be able to drive our van back home to Washington the following day. When I arrived at Doc's Auto Repair, I could tell that they were busy due to the large number of vehicles there. Despite arriving at Doc's Auto Repair halfway through their workday (on a Friday as well), he was able to quickly diagnose the problem and have the repair completed the same day! I was definitely impressed by Doc's knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend this auto repair shop to anyone who lives close enough to get there. It is worth driving a little out of your way to get quality auto repairs done at a reasonable price.

The best experience we have had at any other automobile service center!! We were just starting out from Edmonds Wa to Yachats Ore on the oregon coast when our 2019 car broke down, We were fearing we would have to cancel our trip but they dropped everything and after doing research on our make and model they fixed the problem and with a smile!!! We stopped here to have our vehicle checked because of a strange noise our car was making. The staff was friendly. We were on a short vacation and couldn t leave the vehicle. Best mechanic experience I ve ever had. Our Car started making strange noises while on our honeymoon road trip, about 1500 miles from home. Doc s was one of the only mechanics to answer the phone, AND they got us an appointment for the same day. The second we pulled up, they took the car back and looked into the noise. The mechanic actually drove the car to hear the sound - something I ve practically had to beg other mechanics to do in the past. We were there less than 30 minutes and the problem was solved. We are so beyond grateful - this place will really treat you right. They were professional, timely, and honest and deserving of your business.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Wonderful people all round! I was on roadtrip with son, car started acting funny near Gearhart, checked codes and it had some messages. My CA mechanic suggested i get car looked at before driving further, Doc Auto got great reviews so gave them a call. Initially Samantha helped, knew a lot about the codes, said come in they would check for free. Indeed Tyler looked it over, determined the problem was a gas cap leak (Oregon has only full service) and that I would be okay.Meanwhile another person working there was offering to drive an older lady back to her house while they worked on a car. Top Notch service. Would go to them if I was a local!
