Beautiful ocean views for most rooms. The housekeeper made everything look fancy & fresh! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hallways are chilly as they're exposed to outside. They can also get slippery since they're made out of slate. But lots of signage out warning you. Getting to the pool was cold, but the pool was warm! The pool was clean, had lots of towels, and the hot tub was the perfect temperature. The info sheets in the room mentioned a 10% discount for hotel guests when using the restaurant. However, they stopped that a year ago, apparently. Old literature in our room. Also, for the price, 196.00$ a continental breakfast would have been ideal! Missed that feature.Unaware to us until check out, we got a complimentary upgrade. We booked what i thought was a double queen with a partial view. We ended up in a king queen with a balcony kitchen full ocean view.We enjoyed ourselves.Nearby activities: Right on the beach, about .5 mile from the promenade and the main street. Mall, dining, gift shops, kid center, aquarium, beach, and Lewis & Clark sites and more!Walkability: Only .8 miles from all the main street attractions!

Not bad. Pricing was good for right on the beach. our room was off a dead end road and you could just barely see over the beach. the layout was a bit of a maze. We walked over main downtown for dinner. it was about a little further away than others but I didn't mind. Parking lot was very full and tight. Rooms were older, clean but older.

I got the cheapest room and it was fine. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were good. The shower was good, too.The people that work there are so awesome and helpful and gave my dog a treat, which made him so happy. You walk like 1/4 of a block, and you're at the ocean! Plus, I slept so well because it was so quiet. I was so relieved to get some good sleep.Definitely recommend and so happy I stayed there.

Rooms are clean, and front office staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. If you have any intent of sleeping in, this may not be the hotel for you. Walls are very thin, and while you can t do anything about the guests, even the housekeeping staff is very loud. Checkout isn t til 11am, but they were playing music from their speaker at 9am while cleaning. Maybe don t blast music in a room when people still have their do not disturb door hangers up nearby.

We are super grateful for the best Western. We got double booked at our previous location and called 15 other places. (( 1:15 am - 2:00am )) Best Western was thankfully open and not far.We were helped by a woman named Bianca ( I hope I spelled that right ))Got us all situated.Gave us great recommendations and a warm welcome.$516 for a top floor, double queen, parking lot view from Friday to Saturday check out Sunday around 11.Lots of places to park, beach is on-site, pet friendly for certain floors.Pool and hot tub available, Cafe downstairs is best described as expensive cafeteria food.Good, and will get you by.

I have two dogs and love this location and it s animal friendly but not so much that it still smells good. The rooms don t ever smell of animals. It s great to be on the lower level beach front for access for potty breaks. There s rarely anyone down in the beach at this end so my dogs can play off leash. It s a well maintained facility with fantastic staff. Plus your just a couple blocks from the main drag. for

Room was small but ok. Wasn't explained in the breakdown that all the hallways were open air. The " hot tub " is just a warm water tub with no jets pool is small but the kids enjoyed it. There is no Continental breakfast offered here they offer you a over priced cafe. The only vending machines are soda machines. Very few snacks at the front desk. So all in all over priced stay location is nice food and beverage selection is sub par. Do I regret staying here no . Will I stay again no.

Ulrich was so friendly and professional when addressing my needs! He worked diligently to assist me in a reservation change that was difficult but remained persistent to do everything he could. A huge thank you to him and the assistant general manager for accommodating me, it was so helpful they don t even know! The location was great, right on the beach, perfect to go walk on the beach or to downtown.

Buckle up- This is gonna be a long one.Check in was at 4pm, which, I think is a bit late but whatever. We booked this hotel because their website, and ads say they are "pet friendly". This is a BALD FACED LIE. We walked up to the counter with 4 people behind the front desk, one lady with rather cool hair was fairly helpful, and after attempting to get the keys to the rooms we already paid for. (2 rooms adjoining, with 2 dogs in one room, and my very quiet cat in the other.) Guess what? Their policy is to only accept DOGS. NO CATS. So, now in a slight panic, I ask why they dont accept cats to the helpful lady, and this guy interjects who clearly wasn't working and just standing around, Told me that they weren't equipped to handle cats, to which I told him I do not wish for him to handle my cat. I had him in a carrier, and had a small CLEAN FRESH litterbox, and a food and water dish. I needed nothing from these people for MY cat. So, after a few minutes of actual arguing and looking up policies and almost just refunding and leaving, the only other helpful employee behind the desk suggests he could call the manager and get it approved, but there would be an EXTRA $250 fee attached to our room. Fantastic. At least we dont have to sleep in the car tonight. So, they dude calls the manager and they say ok, put them in 102A and 103A. both non adjoining rooms, and of FAR inferior quality.-Rooms, showerWe paid for Queen beds, adjoining rooms, and an ocean view balcony. We got literally none of those things, and paid an extra $250. We got: 1st. Floor rooms, with windows facing the very trafficked hallway near the exit. adjoining rooms, but not to each other, they went to other families that had very loud children and it sounded like 15 non-behaving dogs. This stressed my cat out so bad he didn't even poop while we were there. (he waited till we got in the car on the way home.)The lighting was kinda dark. The floors were sticky for the first few minutes, I assume it was the cleaning stuff they use, idk. The beds were Fulls, with barely enough room for my wife and I, and we are a bit smaller of a couple than my vacation companions who had the same accommodations. I can't imagine they both slept on the bed at the same time. You could do better. (This is meant for Best Western to see, but really, spend the extra 30 dollars and go somewhere else.)

Sadly... the Best -Best Western Plus is in Warrenton and Lincoln City!!!Much room for improvement here.I vacuumed our room when we got here wall to wall. It was dirty. Door seals are gone completely and the wind and air blows right into our suite. It's very loud here starting when the maids clean and garbage because the carts being driven down the hallways on tile sound alike thunder and a herd of elephants rampaging towards you. Don't plan on sleeping in well past 8 or 9 AM.Basically don't stay more than one day. Sad.The fireplace puts out NO HEAT. It's for visually enjoying and nothing else. Sad.Our curtain are broke and it's very bright also.We really love the staff here they are wonderful!!!! All helpful and nice. The soaking tub was a failure, absolutely no jets and not hot enough.I also struggled to get a nice hot temp out of the showers. It gets pretty warm but not hot.Had to retire all the garbage bags also. Can't put trash into receptacles that have a bag tied straight across the top. Will update. thanks!

I have nothing but positive things to say about our stay at Best Western Plus Ocean View Resort in Seaside. For starters, our room was double booked one of our nights- Mark called and helped us fix the issue promptly while en route. We met Ulrich at the hotel front desk, and he was friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in. The two rooms we stayed in were both comfortable and well-maintained, offering beautiful ocean views. The location is perfect, close to the beach, boardwalk, and many local attractions. Overall, a great choice for a relaxing seaside getaway. Highly recommend!!

No complimentary breakfast. We are Best Western rewards members, we stay at BW pretty much exclusively when we travel on family trips - we stayed 10 nights at BW over the past year. The hotel and location are great. The room was pricy ($290 total for one night for an ocean view room during Oregon's school spring break). We had a great time on our short trip to seaside. The one catch - we always, always expect a complimentary breakfast from Best Western. Like I say, 10X in the past year, probably 30 nights in BW hotels in the past 5 years, and we've never not had a complimentary breakfast. Nowhere in the reservation process was it stated that breakfast is not included. Rather than spend ~$50 for a family of four at the onsite restaurant, I opted to go find breakfast elsewhere. Had I known that breakfast was not included, I might have made a different lodging choice.

The BEST experience I have ever had! The Front desk has amazing staff! They called me while I was on my way to make sure everything was going well. There was bad weather, and they knew I was checking in late. The housekeeping was fantastic! The banquet people were so kind and accommodating! The rooms were fabulous! Worth every penny! I have a favorite place to stay already-but this is a very close runner up! My only complaint is there are no signs for the stairs-their elevator is VERY thorough!Rooms: So clean! Great amenities! The beds and pillows were so soft and comfortable! I didn't love the sofa but I didn't care.Nearby activities: EVEYTHING is nearby! The aquarium, the beach, the prom, it's a perfect location.Safety: well-lit and so cleanWalkability: So close to town! Love that it is on the promenade! Inside-the stairs are so easy to get up and down.

Dogs Only NOT Pet Friendly I can not attest to their rooms but I wanted pet owners to have a heads up.My family came in tonight to check in to the room we reserved to find out that the motel isn t pet friendly it s dog friendly.I spent almost 30 minutes finding a pet friendly motel that was in our budget in the area, drove up and unpacked our vehicle just to find out that it s in fact only dog friendly. What an inconvenient and frustrating thing that could ve been solved by being upfront that they only allow dogs.I went to the site to check and it says furry friends pet friendly host your pets Only once did it mention having up to two dogs but that could just as easily communicate that the people bringing dogs can have up to two.And your dogs package (like a bandana) could be communicating the same that those who have dogs may have this package to buy. Please fix this, I m sure you don t want customers thinking you re being manipulative.

Rooms are well-appointed. Location is terrific - right in town, but away from the bustle. Front desk reps are very friendly and helpful. The only downside (which I'm sure will be rectified) is that the refrigerator didn't work and it wasn't fixed or replaced during my 3 day stay. I would stay again.Rooms: The kitchen was well-supplied. The beds *very* comfortable. Nice tv, lots of channels.Walkability: Location of the hotel is away from the traffic and hubbub of downtown, yet within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. The hotel is situated directly on the Prom so out the door to the beach is a snap.

Very nice beach front hotel right off the boardwalk (which will take you to stores and restaurants a short walk away). Friendly staff and our room was nice and spacious. Decent partial view of the ocean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only real downside was the lack of a/c. The windows in the room only open up a few inches, not really enough for a breeze. A fan would be nice! Would gladly stay here again.

I booked a room on Expedia, they went ahead and still booked a room that was booked and I called manager cara and told her my situation and she honored my reservation and gave me a new one without charging me more. This is the best hotel in seaside the staff are awesome and the leader cara is such an amazing manager!!! By far top 3 hotels I ve been too and I ve stayed all over! Thank you for your generosity to you and your staff.

I booked a two-day stay at this hotel with my family and I thought it was going to be a fine stay as I have stayed at other Best Western hotels and had a great experience. Unfortunately though, I am sad to report that I was disappointed by this hotel on so many accounts.First of all, the moment I got there to check in, I was told that the hotel didn't accept any other pets besides dogs, YET when we reserved the room and told the man that we'd be bringing a cat with us, they didn't say anything bad. Along with that, nowhere on their website does it say anything about them accepting dogs only. When I brought this up to the man checking us in, he did admit that we were right and somehow let us still stay. The whole entire stay though I felt like we were being treated as if we were dirty because we brought a cat with us. Room service never came to check if we needed fresh towels or our trash taken out or anything of the sort. Along with this, every staff member we came into contact with at the hotel was extremely rude and had a negative attitude. Please stop saying you are a pet friendly hotel if you do not accept cats or any other animals besides dog. That's NOT pet friendly. I am truly failing to see how my quiet cat is more of a hazardous animal for a hotel than a dog who can potentially track in feces from outside or pounce on a customer.Secondly, this place really needs to be cleaned better. Upon entering the hotel room, there was a faint musty smell. When I looked under the beds as well, I could see that they certainly do not clean there. There was dried up food and dust everywhere. When I decided to use the pool during my stay there, the pool water looked dirty and like it wasn't filtered. I won't be staying here again and I don't recommend this place to anyone else. There are far better places along the Seaside Promenade that you could stay at.

Without a doubt, the best Best Western I ve ever stayed the night at. I found it somewhat humorous that housekeeping feels the need to fold nearly everything that s foldable in the style of a scallops shell. But for real, check-in was quick and painless and the front desk attendant was very friendly. Great location too! I m very glad that it was off the 101. Only criticisms I can think of is the WiFi and thin walls. I could never get the WiFi to work correctly but I m somewhat used to that in locations like these. Regarding the thin walls, it s been a long time since I ve stayed in a hotel that had a conjoined door between two separate rooms. I could hear the next door neighbours pretty well but thankfully they were extremely respectful and by 2100 they were completely silent. Very thankful for that! The room was a tad small but I m used to that in Europe in a lot of places and besides, I didn t pay for a large room. The price was absolutely spot on and can t be beat for the experience that I received. Parking is quite spacious and you can access nearly everything from this location on foot, I didn t even drive anywhere. On top of that, I even witnessed the local PD patrolling around, just checking on things. That s appreciated, especially if you re driving a nice new car. Definitely would recommend. Thanks BW!

Room was so tiny! With the suitcase on the stand there was only a foot of room to get by the bed. The room was wall to wall furniture. Towel rack was coming off the wall in the bathroom, water controller for shower had lots of play in it, making it difficult to set. Hotel failed to come and clean the room while we were gone, so we just had to get more towels for the second day. This is the second time this year I have had a bad experience with a BW Plus.

Let me say this place is great. We went here in late September for a funeral. And upon check in, we were greeted by the most friendly people. When we got to the room it was great. Didn't take pictures because we forgot. But what a great view and room. Super clean. And the cafe downstairs was super nice and so good. ( try the blueberry pancakes) we come a lot and the place we stay at was not available at the time. Well now we found the place we will be going anytime we go see the family. Thank you.Walkability: Walk to everything. Only like a 10 min walk to any great food place. And right at the beach.Noteworthy details: Had an indoor pool. I didn't go, but the room next to us said it was so nice.

A one night stay in Sea Side at the Best Western was a pleasure. As a handicapped person, our room was perfect. Not too far from entrance, beds were comfortable, and the roll in shower was a blessing. We look forward to our next visit to Sea Side and Best Western.

Loved staying here. We had a nice pet friendly room looking out on the beach and the staff were very nice. When you stay in the beach side you're farther away from your car for getting your luggage to your room, not it's worth it.Rooms: Our room was large and comfortable. The fireplace seemed to be fake, but it was still a nice visual touch with the fake flames providing a homey feeling.Walkability: You can walk to the center of town very easily.

The staff really made our stay. Originally, we were only going to pop in to stay for a night and be out early the next morning. Our room had a mini kitchen, electric fireplace and an ocean view for "cheap" as hotels go. We were greeted by happy faces and one of the sweet ladies at the desk paying compliments as people came and went. Coffee was always hot and fresh, everything was clean and smelled fresh. Everyone seemed happy and positive to be there. We ended up booking another night because we had such a great time. Would highly recommend and would absolutely go back again. AND it's pet friendly, without looking and smelly like a kennel Thanks for starting off our Oregon roadtrip so wonderfully Austin and Betty!!
