I used to use this place all the time and never had any trouble. But this time it was a simple order. But got charged 85 bucks for a job I should have just done myself. And in the end I did redo the job myself with the parts they put in incorrectly. Which by the way nearly destroyed my motor. Next time I'll just buy the parts and find time to do it. Oh and I was bid 70 bucks not 85. Real amateur hour there these days.

Excellent customer service, and do great work. Took an aftermarket starter in today, and they got it rebuilt within a half hour, making it possible for me to race tomorrow.

Last time I bought a starter from Amazon it turned out to have the wrong bolt pattern. I had to return the part and wait another week for the return to be processed and new starter to ship.When I went to walz they gave me an exact match in 3 minutes. I got the new starter installed the same day. Yes walz cost more than Amazon but I got my boat running in one day and I'm ready for the weekend.

Don't waste time or money going anywhere else! I have an older model truck and unfortunately I bought a starter at one of the large retail stores; needless to say I had trouble with it. I went to Walz's place and they had a starter that fit and worked perfectly. About a month later, I had an ignition problem that caused a major issue with the ring gear on the flywheel...which destroyed my starter. To make a long story short, I brought the starter back to Walz's place, and they took care of business for me and rebuilt the one they gave me! Very nice, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Wish I would have gone to Walz's place in the beginning of this Adventure!! Highly recommend!

They took the time to check my alternator to see if it was working properly. They determined it was working. Due it's age, approx. 88k miles I decided to purchase a rebuilt one for $79. Walz has helped me 3 times this year complete did car repairs.

Recommended to me by a long time bus mechanic, these guys are THE EXPERTS on starters and alternators. Don't go anywhere else because their service is really prompt, their parts inventory is huge and their prices are good.I've been a customer for over 20 years and made a mistake in buying a small alternator(on the internet) , and although it was new its regulator soon failed. Waltz sold me a good voltage regulator(made in USA) and all is well. So a new alternator from China ( found mainly in discount parts stores) will not be as good as an alternator rebuilt by the Walz brothers.Save money and time don't go anywhere else.

Waltz is the best! There is no reason to buy new or have anyone else rebuilt your parts. Just go to Waltz!

Amazing staff... They were able to find the part I needed, upgraded it for no additional charge... Then after I broke it fixed it for free... They have come through for me several times and I refuse to shop anywhere else... :-)

Easy to find and had the item on hand that I needed. Kinda pricey but reasonable. Better than going to Napa or other stores.

I went in to buy bushings so I could rebuild my starter and the older gentleman gave me advise to do a better job... great service

Dont buy a new alternator or starter, rebuild it. Walts has a quick turn around and can usually have your part back to you in a day or two.

Had my 3G alternator rebuilt for cheaper than buying a brand new one, and has been working great since.

Locally owned and run. Need a quality rebuild for a starter, alternator or marine tilt and trim motor this is the place. Highly recommend!

Aftermarket powermaster starter had pinion kit in stock and replaced in half a day. Great place for starter and alternator rebuilds.
