Walmart Oil Change 3/14/241) Everyday low prices. High quality oil brands at great prices.2) Expert service. Certified technicians you can trust.3) Shop while waiting. We'll notify you when we're done. One out of three is a possibility.Since I didn t shop around for competitors pricing I will have to take their word for #1.#2 and #3 did not happen. After 15 years of shopping here (including buying tires for 3 cars) I decided to get an oil change at a place I visit every week. Before going here I knew I really needed air in my tires and thought, not only would I be getting a long overdue oil change that the tire pressure would be taking care of and the LOW tire pressure indicator light would go away. Unfortunately that didn t happen. After sitting in the waiting room for 1 hours I decided to check with the man at the register and asked him what the status of the oil change was because the car had been out of the work area for over hour. He said it was all set and I asked him why nobody contacted me that it was finished and he said good question . They had multiple ways to contact me. 1 I was sitting in the waiting room, 2 they had my cell phone # and 3 they had my email address. So I pay and leave only to find that the LOW tire pressure indicator was still on, but thinking it may take a short period of driving for it to go out, but it didn t. When I got home I checked my tire pressure with two different gauges to find the max pressure out of all 4 tires was at 30 PSI.The paperwork they gave me said that all tires were checked and were at 35 PSI.Then I notice on the sticker that was put on my windshield indicated that the next suggested service should be in 3 months (06/14/2024) or at 81,837 miles. My car odometer reading at the time of service was 54,430. Well 3 months is way too soon and 27,407 miles is way too long for my next oil change. So not only were all my tires low on air but I noticed that there was next to nothing left for my windshield washer fluid.I scheduled another appointment for the following day and brought these issues to the attention of the guy that greets you. He asks me to pop the hood and I do, then he didn t have a clue how to lift the hood so I did it while he was back inside probably looking up how to open the hood. He comes out and asks me if this car has a transmission dip stick. I said that I didn t know. He verified that there was little to none washer fluid and I peeled off the sticker from the windshield and handed it to him.He drove the car over to one of the bays that had a car in there already and 20 minutes later he said the car is all set and said the low tire pressure indicator should go out after a quick drive and if it didn t I should bring the car back to have the faulty sensor replaced. When I got home after a 30 minute ride, the indicator light was still on so I checked my tire pressure again only to find that they didn t add any air. So I asked myself, should I schedule a third visit for the next day or just go back there? I decided to just inflate the tires properly to 35 PSI and the indicator light was out before moving the car. Now I have to wonder what or if they did anything that was supposed to be done? They did however fill the washer fluid. For me to add air in 4 tires is not an easy task as I am in my 70 s with back issues, Sciatica and other ailments and it has been be a few days and I am still not able to get around after dealing with this. They need to invest in a tire gauge that indicates the proper inflation and use it. Never going back there again, even if they offered me a free oil change.

Excellent service from Neil and Kodi in the tire center. So helpful and kind from the very start. My tire went completely flat in their parking lot and they went above and beyond to help me get it fixed. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Great prices, and better service Thank you!

It was just dandy. Got my front tires done in about an hour. My online order on the other hand. Totally different story. I was sent the recommended size tires. Not the actual size I ordered. So now I've got to return those & wait even longer to get my back tires replaced.

Took five hours for a scheduled tire install. Then had to take it to a different shop for alignment and they said the new tires had all different psi from 29 in one to 40 in another. Would go to les Schwab, point s, or even a McDonald s next time for a better experience

Edit:I gave it 3 stars yesterday but today I give it 1 because I can't give it none, zero, zilch. I had to reschedule my appointment time for later than what I originally thought I'd be able to make it in since I was hella busy today & I showed up for my appointment to have the place closed, nobody there, bay-doors down & no lights on. Going to do the oil change myself instead of taking the lazy route. You'd think they would @ least have had the courtesy let me know both yesterday and today that I didn't need to waste my gas & time to show up for nothing.Original:I made an appointment online for 6pm to get my oil changed & went there to be told that they didn't have anyone to do it even though they had just accepted the car just before me in the line. They rescheduled me for tomorrow, hopefully they will have someone available then. The oil change before my last one, they broke my oil cap and didn't even let me know.A basic oil change @ $24.88 is affordable & one reason why I keep going back, the other reason is I can view my service history in my account online.

Great deals, but super long wait. Appointment or walk-ins it doesn't matter. It shouldn't take 3 hours to replace 4 tires. Employees are walking around looking lost. I get it, they get paid by the hour, but cmon! Every single time, it's about a 3 hour wait.

I had my appt canceled this weekend by them because they were out of stock of the tires I bought and paid for online. No call/voicemail to notify me or see if I wanted different tires just canceled my appt through a auto text. Kind of bad business practice as they most certainly could have up sold me on a different set had they reached out.

So it's my first time really using this tire center and I am pleasantly surprised. Customer service was great, they were quick and the quality was no different than a bigger tire company's. I'll definitely be back the next time I need tires.

Horrible customer service over the phone and in person... would not recommend to anyone! Go somewhere else if you value your time even if it's $20 more.

Roger and his team were nothing short of amazing today. We had ordered online and somehow the order got canceled. They got us in and taken care of quickly and kindly. Thank you guys for making a possible mess into a great experience. It's hot out. Work is busy. But you guys rocked it out.

I attempted to call for over an hour with no response. I went into the shop and no one helped me for almost 10 minutes. I called the store operator and someone from electronics came over and asked someone in the shop to help me. The guy in the shop said it would take about an hour and a half until they got to my vehicle for the oil change. I went out to my vehicle and pulled it up to the station for a woman to come out with an iPad to get the right services set up. I also asked for a balance and rotation since I have the lifetime warranty. She attempted to charge me for new tires and I had to correct her on the difference in what I was asking for. I then asked if they could put my wheel locks on, she had no idea what those were or how many went on each tire, but said they probably could.I returned two hours later when I was notified of my vehicle being done only to find out they only did the rotation and balance and no oil change. The person at the counter didn t talk to me at all. I asked what was done to my vehicle, no response. I then asked why my service was free, then noticed they didn t do the oil change. I asked why they didn t do the oil change, no response. I was only told that I d need to go outside to make an appointment for an oil change.

Called multiple times to get an appointment. They finally answered and it was clear, he was annoyed by the call and questions. I took my business elsewhere.

Ordered tires online, made an appointment for the install online, got a confirmation & a reminder the day before only to be told when I got there that thd tire center was under construction & they weren't going to be back n service for atleasg a few weeks. I NEVER received a phone call or anything about this before hand. Now I'm waiting for my 1000 dollars to be placed back on my debit card that wal-mart says could take up to 30 days....huge waste of time!!

They re always pretty quick and friendly. The guy that inspected my car was nice (an older gentleman) the mechanic that worked on my tires also did them last time for me (JC).The only problem I had this time, was that I accidentally ordered the wrong tires (different than the front ones I already had). It caused me to slide around a lot which was scary for 600+ miles. Yes that was my fault but they also completely failed to notice it, as well, which didn t seem like a very good sign to me.. I actually tried calling the shop a couple times to see if they had tires for my car but no one answered the phone. So I ordered them online by myself quickly because I needed them before Thanksgiving.. But the other times I ve come here it went well and they fully inspected my entire car and had the tires in stock..Don t forget to make an appointment. It makes it easier for them and quicker for you.

This department is an absolute nightmare.. none of the workers are competent enough to actually do the job correctly and that presents a huge safety concern for the operator of the vehicle and others on the road. The department is constantly closed and 9/10 you have to either get the work re done or it doesn't get done at all. Very very very very bad department ran by the absolute worst walmart workers who make a living doing and giving shotty work. I do not recommend this auto center at all, period.. you work way to hard for your money and time don't waste ony of it here.

Because of a shortage of employees, an appointment is needed for an oil change. Customers should have been notified on the web site. I drove 40 miles for nothing.

I got good tires for cheap, but unless you have the equipment to take the rubber off your rims and put new rubber one, you have to pay the fee for them to do it for you. I didn't see this on their website, nor when I called did they inform me of this when I said I wanted to change them at home. I was not treated completely fairly. The only good is good tires for cheap. Service not so great.

Pretty good! Better deals than anyone else on tires, can order to your home and bring tires in if you want, or have delivered to the store. Good warranty services, and got me in fairly quickly this time even tho I didnt have an appt. Guys are always pretty friendly and helpful and the price matching cant be beaten!!

After going to 3 different tire shops and being turned away for various reasons I stopped by here only because I noticed it when I was going to Walmart.I show up and in seconds 2 people walked up to help me. One guy, whom I later learned his name is Patrick the shop supervisor, asked me what he can help me with, I told him it was an issue with my tire valve, he checks it out, by luck he happens to own a similar car, he knew what it was, replaced the , fixed it and sent me in my way.I tried to give him a tip but he wouldn t accept.I will definitely be coming back, and recommending this auto shop to everyone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

So here s the deal with Walmart. If you want to save money when buying tires, visit the website and buy them and have them shipped to the store and they will install them for you. You can t beat the price. However, the customer service is where you take the blow. When I arrived the guy said it would take them 1 hour to install(already super long for the job) I said ok and shopped. Then only 3 of the tires I ordered were there. Luckily they had one in stock. An hour later there were 4 employees and just my car. I was outside the shop and saw them on their phones, joking and laughing having a jolly ol time. An hour and a half in I walk to see where they are with my car and there is one dude sitting on a stool putting lugs on like a sloth. 2 hours and my car is finally done. I waited in the cold. The gal said my car was done and said that these jobs always take that long. I could have self thought my self with their shop in the same amount of time. Good value but terrible service.

My husband and I had a 9am appointment to have tires mounted and balanced. The tire center was running behind and could not get to the car till 10am. This was frustrating because we did not bring an extra vehicle and we re stuck waiting. I believe it was the manager of the tire center who went above and beyond to get two techs working on our car and also waived the service fee. Thank you Salem OR Walmart for making it right and standing by your customers:)

The installer did a excellent job. Reasonable amount of wait time. He get 5 starReason for over all 4 star is the check in staff and counter staff could be better trained. Otherwise very good experience
