This place is a good family-like feel business! There are 2 dogs in the shop that are an added bonus. But they explain things to you every step of the way, and fix all your problems in a reasonable time and manner! I was very impressed! Will continue to give them my business.

Professional staff who are easy to talk to. Quick reliable service might have to wait but for the price you pay to have your car fixed % worth your time and money. Amazing pricing if I didn t already mention that part. and it doesn t matter what the make of your car is the mechanics they have know and understand what they are doing.Thank you very much once again.

Just WOW! Forget the sign of Acura and Honda specialists. They can work on anything; and are they ever awesome! I took my Cadillac in for a 50,000 mile look over and oil change. They looked at everything, reported their favorable findings (all good), and just did an oil change. They are friendly, engaging and, most importantly, knowledgeable and honest. They are my go-to place from now on...for all our cars.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Best place in Salem for Honda repairs. Very professional, thorough, great communication, proactive, knowledgeable, highly recommend.Honest, fair prices, accurate quotes, no surprises with the final invoices. Quality work, finding and fixing problems rather than just replacing parts.And the golden retriever is very cute.

They came recommended through CarMax where I have my car repair insurance. It turned out to be the battery, which I got to pay for, but they tried to charge it all day and were trying to get the battery in at the end of the same day. I told them I didn't need my car that night, so they could do it the next morning. Professional, kind, aware that we are all short on money and time, and I would recommend them.Service: Battery

My nightmare started last Fri night (11/12/21) when I stayed overnight in NE Salem at a friend's house and woke up to find my 1992 Acura Integra STOLEN. I was in shock of course, having never had a car stolen before.I got a call from Salem police two days later saying they found the car. It was impounded so we drove up on Monday afternoon and went to rescue it. I couldn't believe how the thieves sought to destroy my well-loved classic car. I couldn't start it and there was TONS of mud inside the car, under the hood, the back area under the hatchback was smashed along w/ a taillight. I knew I was going to pay for someone else's crime, which sickened me.The tow company recommended Valley Specialist so I had the car towed there that afternoon. Very nice staff, the young woman who runs the front office was so kind, love the sweet mascot they have (dog). I was fearing a big mess and big bill.The next morning I got a call from the shop and the first step was replacing the starter. I approved it. About 2 hrs later I found a receipt that I bought a new starter from a local shop for a new starter. I called the local shop and they called Valley Specialists and told them it was under warranty.I got a call from VS about 1 pm stating the car was working and that seemed to be the only problem w/ the car-mechanically speaking. The starter was swapped out for free and the bill was just $132 for the labor! I was thrilled!Without a doubt.....Valley Specialists are top notch and honest! I will definitely use them if I need them and I'm in the area! THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO EASE MY PAIN!Service: Engine repair

Has been a good shop for maintenance and service, not a place that you can just stop in though, and having a pretty urgent repair they were a few weeks out before they could see the vehicle. Ended up looking online and changed out a faulty thermostat myself.

Used to get great work here but I've brought my car in twice this week to get the heater fixed and the check engine light addressed. Picked the car up the first time and found out the next morning that the heat didn't work at all. Brought it back a few days later, they called the following day to say it was fixed and ready to be picked up. On the drive home I discovered that the heat only works now if I crank it to the highest setting, cold air on any other temp. And the engine light STILL is on. Will be finding a new mechanic for now on.

They are honest, give me estimates, charge fair fees and have the cars done when they say they will. I can't say that about the multiple service shops we have used for our non-Honda vehicles. We still cringe a bit when we need service from one of those other shops.

Valley Specialists have been our go-to mechanic for our Hondas (Civic, Odyssey, and Fit) for over a decade as long as we've owned Hondas. My parents (Civics and Accords) have used Dane and his crew since at least the mid-90s with similarly great results. Knowledgeable, trustworthy, and highly recommended!
