Tony gave a me a very competitive price on a complete rebuild of the automatic transmission in my 1999 Isuzu Rodeo, a notoriously difficult transmission to work on. In fact, other shops quoted me prices $700-$1200 higher. The work was done in exactly one week. They ended up replacing a couple of extra parts and making a small upgrade. The price was only $25 over the estimate. I was able to talk to mechanic who did the work and he showed me the worn parts and he explained what was wrong and exactly what he did. The transmission works flawlessly, so far. The experience was great, until the end. Tony was professional and honest, but when he ran my credit card, there was a surprise $125 dollar "credit card fee" added on. Considering how much money I saved, I shouldn't complain, but It was an unexpected charge. 4.5 stars.

I came into Sunnyview Transmission because my 2012 F150 started throwing codes and my truck was not shifting right. Tony obliged me with a free diagnosis. He drove my truck and then had his mechanic drive it. They determined I indeed had a problem. Tony made me feel very comfortable and two days later, I dropped my truck off for the repairs. His price was fair compared to other companies in town. I just got my truck back, he showed me the internal parts that broke, and I am a happy customer. I also got a year warranty. I would recommend Tony and Sunnyview Transmission

Was given a timeframe as to when my car would be done. They rebuilt my transmission for me and they exceeded my expectations and gave me my car a day early. I would definitely would recommend this place to a friend speak to Tony. He was amazing. Thank you again Sunnyview Transmission.

These guys have had my car for a week and haven't diagnosed it. They are expecting me to pay for a clutch without even checking it first. They expect me to get a loan to get a full new clutch before they've fully diagnosed it

What a good job repairing my 1989 Chevy pickup truck. They are a friendly happy staff and owner. I took my truck to them to checkout my transmission issue. They test drove it that day, confirmed my concerns and an quoted me a fair repair price. I wasn't ready to leave it so I took it back on Friday. It was a holiday weekend. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me Wednesday and said my truck was done. The truck drives great. They even repaired the driver door handle that you use to pull the door shut. It was broken in half. What can I say - good service, friendly staff and owner, quick repair, fair price, etc. I would recommend them.Service: Transmission

Took my car here because it was the only place in town with availability for 2 weeks. That should ve been my first sign, but I was desperate. Now, 5 weeks later I finally pick up my car.They misdiagnosed the problem to begin with, causing the initial delay, and then had to wait 2.5wk for a part. After $3500 of initial work, the problem still wasn t fixed. I was told they d install the new part for free, and that I would just pay $500 for the part. Well that turned into an extra $1000. Finally, we re close to the end, and a promise of Wednesday, turns into Friday, and then I need a new battery because it had been sitting in the lot for over a month. My car was filthy, probably because they had the windows rolled down for days overnight. They gave me a $50 discount because I was unhappy. Crossing my fingers my car doesn t fall apart, none of this instill confidence in their work.Service: Transmission

I sent my vehicle in for a clutch and flywheel replacement, along with a transmission inspection, then a fluid replacement all around. Not only did they immediately accept the task, but they completed it in less than 36 hours. Easily one of the best and fastest turn around times I have ever experienced. My mother had a 2000 suzuki esteem with bad alternator,I gave sunnyview transmission a call at 10am and they were able to fit my the car in within the hour. The manager here, Tony is the best. Mechanic shops are always a bit nerve-wracking, as a customer you never really know if you're getting screwed. Tony handled our service amazing. I will ensure all my vehicles are serviced/managed by Tony.

Sunnyview Transmissions is the best shop around town! I called other places for quotes & they gave me the run around, but not Tony! He told me what the book says to charge for my Job, then he gave me a discounted quote right over the phone! Great service, honest, good communication & a quality repair! Sunnyview replaced my clutch recently on my 95 Camry. It's got about 180k on it and I'm planning to keep the car going strong. But I couldn't do that without a clutch kit. I got a free estimate from the shop. They gave me time to save up the money and when I was ready I made an appointment and they had it done in a day. It's been running great since the repair. The parts and labor were fair price. I'm planning to go back for some more repairs on my truck since they did a good job. The clutch is not an easy job so you need a good shop to do it right. I was referred to these guys and I am not disappointed in the slightest. They've gone above and beyond to be helpful and consider it of my tight budget. They fixed my car as well as some superfluous extremities that needed to be repaired and were very mindful when writing up my bill. They were able to take a card over the phone which was also helpful and they have been extremely kind. Took my cousins 1999 Toyota Camry in for an engine code of p0446. Art was really awesome he told me what it was and what we needed to fix it ! He started out by fixing the leak in the hose to see if that would fix it and said if the check engine light came back on to bring it back in. The light turned back on as soon as I got home so I called him back up and brought it in the next day, he ended up ordering the canister and was able to finish it up the next day. Took in my 97 jeep wrangler for a torque converter problem and Tony told me the transmission needed to be rebuilt. Well after a month of the rebuild the transmission is working better than it was before. Tony was very helpful through the process.

I ve gotten some of the best service here than I have in a long time. This shop is absolutely amazing and beyond helpful. My serpentine belt shredded into pieces when it broke and we could not find someone that was able to fix it same day without charging an arm and leg. However, when they heard the predicament we were in, they managed to squeeze us in and get it done same day!

Update:I went to Sunnyview because I kept having issues with my front end. The mechanic at Firestone said he felt there was a problem with the transmission.After the miraculous less-than-24-hours replacement done by Sunnyview, I took my car back to Firestone, and the mechanic said the transmission hadn't actually been replaced at all. That the dirty bolts showed no sign of having a wrench on them, and a mark he noticed on the transmission the first time was still there. My insurance was charged the cost of a full transmission replacement, however. I will not trust this place ever again!!Old Post:Well, they didn't have a ten-star button, so take these 5 stars and double them! I'm a gig driver, and my transmission started going out. Tony (he's the boss) understood this, and once the repairs were approved by my insurance, he had the repairs done in less than 24 hours, and i am back to work! Missing the holiday weekend would have cost me over $1500, so it was well worth the money that the insurance paid him for it!Oh, and Tony is a pretty cool guy. He has quite a sense of humor nestled in that chiseled physique! (That one's for you, Tony. )Service: Transmission replacement

Very happy! Car is quiet as a mouse. Had the timing belt, water pump and various other services. Cost less then expected and very prompt. Friendly and amazing. Made me feel like family and told them how little money I had and decided to work with me because they cared about my safety and my cars longevity and didn't want me to have to drive back home and further damage my car. Also while waiting inside I heard three different customers come in and say the same thing " I was referred to you by......because you do great work" that tells you that other people talk highly and trust them too. Traveling south on the 5 fwy from a long road trip I experienced a misfiring engine. Called Sunnyview and spoke with Tony who told me to bring it right in. Which I did shortly thereafter. Diagnostic code was a 3rd cylinder misfire and he told me I needed a complete tune-up. Charge quoted at 1300$!! It's a 6 cylinder Nissan Xterra. Now I don't know why Tony would think anyone would pay that much for a tune-up, maybe because he believed I was in a crisis situation being as I was on my way home to California or because I am a female....but I am not an idiot. I was able to get my engine misfire fixed and coil/sparks changed the very next day at Real Tech Auto for a less than a 1/3 of that price.Pfft...keep your money and go somewhere else that's has some integrity and honest business practices.
