I had a fantastic experience with these guys. My GMC Terrain needed a new motor, these guys did a great job and it s running smoother than ever. Francisco was on top of communication throughout the entire process. If you need an honest, affordable mechanic I couldn t recommend any place more than I do Solanos.

Took my Honda Odyssey in there for a timing belt and water pump. Francisco was very nice. They gave me the best deal in town. My van is a handicap van. Because of that they made sure to get it done in one day because I knew it was my only independent transportation. Will definitely bring my vehicle in there again.

I needed an engine swap for a vehicle that was on it's last leg and Solano's did the work for me timely and affordably. They breathed new life into my commuter car and almost a year later it's running better than ever. If you need a knowledgeable, friendly shop to get the job done on time and within budget, I give Solano's my highest recommendation.

They did a Awesome job today replacing my Brakes & Rotars on a short notice ...At a very affordable rate !!! He told me it takes around 45 minutes well they finished a few minutes sooner.. Thanks very much for a terrific job. 6 ******

We took in a 2015 Subaru WRX for a new clutch, flywheel, maf sensor and oil change. Him and his assistant where absolutely amazing and incredibly fast with the maintenance! I've never had a smoother clutch after being brand new and I'm personally in love. I also love that he didn't break the bank and was amazingly affordable! First of all I want to start off by saying that this is one of the greatest places that I ve been to, ever since I bought my car. My car breaks down all the time and Solano s is right around the corner so it s very convenient the owner here is very patient and friendly I would sometimes call him at inconvenient times such as when they were already closed but when he would pick up he was very friendly and always willing to help. The prices here are great and this place is very trustworthy I m never nervous about leaving my car here. I suggest that you come here if you re having troubles with your car because you won t regret it great prices great service and great people. And I can t forget the most important part how fast they get it done. I just recently took my car in for fixing and I thought it was going to take a couple of days because of how bad the damage looked took it in on Wednesday got it back the next day (Today, Thursday)

I recently used Solano's Auto Repair when my Jeep Compass unexpectedly had acceleration issues and had an excellent experience. Many other mechanics in the area had quoted me at least four weeks (understandably so) before they could even diagnose my vehicle, but Francisco made room for me to fit into his busy schedule the day I called and had the problem fixed by the next afternoon. Not only did he fix the main issue I came in for, but had also kindly fixed several other small issues I mentioned that stacked up in my Jeep without me asking, leaving my vehicle running better than ever. Francisco runs his business with integrity. He is incredibly kind, honest, and polite, and his skills come at a great price. It's been so hard to find a good auto repair shop. One that won't screw you over or give you any B.S. I have had such bad experiences that i cannot thank this shop enough. As a single female that only has this one car and not that much knowledge on cars, this shop has been such a blessing, from taking care of the problem as quickly as possible, to not overcharging me, like most places have tried, especially nowadays. Not just that, Francisco was amazing and so patient with me and explained everything to me in such a way I could actually understand. If you are just done with auto repair shops but obviously need one... PLEASE give this shop a chance. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. Thank you again Francisco!! Initially, I had taken my 2007 Versa in to a much larger shop who tried to figure out what was wrong. After $1,200, the next thing was a transmission. They told me they were having trouble locating one for me and wasn t sure when they could get around to it.Then someone I know recommended, Solano s Auto Repair. When I called, Francisco told me if I gave him the go ahead before 11a they would have the transmission by the next morning, and would fit me in. I was doubtful he could get one that soon. But, he was true to his word. He even finished the work sooner than I expected. He let me know that he thought the car had another problem besides the transmission. He thought it could be electrical. He said, to call him if it got worse and he would diagnose and fix it for me. I called him the following Monday. Not knowing how long it would take I needed to rent a car. He gave me a ride to Hertz. I rented a car for a week, and as it turned out, he figured out and fixed my old car by the second day.Now, my car runs perfectly. As much money as I had to pay, it was still hundreds less than what my old garage would have charged me, and thousands less than what a new used car would have cost. So, I say win, win! Francisco was friendly, affordable and professional. I would recommend Solano s Car Repair to anyone who needs work done on their car.Services: Transmission, Electrical

My 2015 Nissan Murano alternator went out, call around and got quotes estimate around $1400.00, I call Solano's and got an estimate for a reasonable price. Francisco is the best, he is honest and reasonable about everything, while working on the vehicle he still has time to contact me for updates, what went out, and what needed to be replaced on the vehicle. I recommend this place for the place to go to if you live here in Salem Oregon.

My go to shop from now on. I was so anxious about having to take my car into a mechanic for the first time but all of my nerves were alleviated. Francisco went out of his way to help me not only save money but get the parts he needed to work. He was incredibly kind and updated me frequently, as well as explained what was wrong and what needed to be done. Above and beyond anything I was expecting or even hoping for.

The reviews are so accurate. Solano Auto Repair is the real deal. Had a bad alternator and Francisco was so kind to fit us right in his busy schedule. Found the issue, fixed the problem and communicated all the way through. Ther pricing is very affordable. I don't do reviews but this is one I definitely had to. I moved to Salem Oregon about 2 years ago and I didn't have a mechanic I could contact when I needed repairs for my vehicle.
