Should be 0 stars - you re better off watching YouTube and doing the work yourself. I promise - keep reading.Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. I went in because of a slow leak in my tire, it took about 2 hours for them to diagnose my literally almost brand new car - in which they didn t even call to give me the diagnosis, I had to call them. They gave me a 3 PAGE LIST of things that needed to be repaired saying I needed all new tires (mind you, my tires have less than 20,000 miles on them) and all the good stuff that comes along with those such as alignment, rotation, etc blah blah blah they said the nail was on the interior lining of my tires and couldn t be repaired quoting me almost $2000 for these repairs. I wanted a second opinion, went down the road to a LOCAL and HONEST mechanic shop, the nail was not anywhere near the interior wall, it had barely punctured the tire and measured less than an inch long, local mechanic had it fixed in less than 15 minutes at a 0 charge.With the lack of communication, lack of customer service and a COMPLETE lack of care or consideration for their customers. We are $$ signs to this company.

They send me maintenance reminders but I can never schedule an appointment online or by phone (nobody answers) since they moved from Mission st. They are the only local shop that will do my CVT maintenance. Annoying

I highly recommend Nissan of Salem the salesman Monte Riddle was outstanding. He knows what he was talking about, and treated us well. I even recommended one of my good friends to go see him. Monte treated her great too. Sincerely satisfied customer Mr. Randall

I rarely leave reviews but when I m not being helped and constantly hung up on gives me a negative feeling about this business. Never got helped. Called multiple times and was hung up on multiple times. Was able to get though only once. Was promised to be given a call back, never did. Called about a safety recall with power steering, apparently they don t care about safety of consumer and follow up. Not worth contacting again or doing any business. Don t even think they deserve even 1 star.

Updated Review:First off, to the manager or staff that might read this, know that if it weren't for James, Doug, or Richard I would absolutely be leaving a 1 star review for the customer service I've received over the past two weeks. However, because the staff members who assisted me with my lease purchase and who worked diligently to perform maintenance on my vehicle, I've rated it 4 stars. James was great with helping and answered my questions or got the information I was seeking. Doug helped explain the vehicle warranties and had my paperwork pre-filled out as per request. And Richard from Maintenance made sure to service my vehicle promptly and added a few extra things to deliver the car in better shape than it had entered. Kudos to them.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations

The staff gave a great first impression and followed through with clear explanation of services to be performed and completed. I felt comfortable asking questions and appreciated their answers. I will definitely bring this, my first Nissan vehicle, to Nissan of Salem for future service.

I bought my car from here and while that process was pretty smooth. The service department has caused me nothing but issues.I brought my car in because it was leaking air when I drove it off the lot. They informed me nothing was wrong but when I went to discount tire they found a huge nail in my tire.I brought it in again and they didn t do anything about the nail but they gave me a 1,200 quote on what my car needs. (I was assured my car had all of it before I bought it)I m disappointed in the entire process now.

Went in to the parts department because my car wouldn't start reliably; was told during a phone call that it was probably the battery in my key fob, and to try using the key fob itself to press the start button. It worked! One less call made to AAA.The two gentlemen in the parts department were very friendly, courteous and helpful. They tested the battery and it was definitely the problem.After they replaced the $6 part, my car has been starting perfectly every time.

Maria was fantastic (she saved this from a 1 star review). Either their record keeping is out the window or someone doesn't know what their doing!Dropped my car off for service, transmission felt off. They call an hour or so later day I need a nee transmission ($3300).They installed a brand new transmission 11 months ago...So they say they will take it to another tech...then I get another call saying there is nothing wrong with my car at all...and then wanted $180. Insane.

Brought the car to have the new passenger side tail light assembly installed, but was not properly installed (For a $180 labor and a $130 tail light assembly). I didn't notice until someone told me the same evening I got my car back that my brake lights were not working. I called them right away and it took a while to get a hold of someone, after a while someone called back and they said the next available schedule was in 3 weeks, I hope that was not past the warranty of the new assembly, I also don't know if I will be charged again for diagnostics which I don t want to do. I learned to open the tail light assembly myself thinking it was just the bulbs. Unfortunately you have to remove the whole assembly to access the sockets and bulbs, unlike other cars which you can just access easily from the inside. I found out that the brake lights and the backing up lights were switched. I just thought that mistake could have been avoided if it was done carefully, it was such a careless mistake, and if it was also double checked before it was given back to the customer then things could have been fixed. Also, those sockets don t really fit well if mixed up, it was forcefully jammed in the wrong places, I thought the little edges were going to break when I pulled them out. If can t be trusted with simpler things then what more with bigger issues.

If I think anything is overpriced I automatically ding it a star. That said, it was easy to call in and get an appointment for a used vehicle inspection. I also got a new key and fob programed.it took about 2 1/2 hours. They have waiting area appropriately spaced and sanitized. They have masks on hand if you forget one. The one employee I had contact with was courteous and thouroghly explained the results of the work I asked for. Overall, I'm happy.

They were awesome. Quick service, thorough job, and friendly staff. I tend to nitpick and question until I understand, but they were patient and willing to continue talking till I understood. Best car service I've gotten in a long time from such a big company.

I bought a car from these guys. And it was the best experience I have ever had at a major car retailer. Cause when I walked in there I had no plans of buying anything. And that soon change . They all didnt rush me at all. And had a great experience.

Beware, Turn back. They wanted us to spend $9,000.00 on phony repairs. We took it to a reputable mechanic who charged us $1100.00 to make our truck sound. The best I can say is they don't know what they are doing. Fast, friendly, had great drinks and snacks for waiting. Washed my car. Did a maintenance inspection for free. It was not so clear they inspected what I wanted them to but I am trusting they did the job right.

Lost my keys! These guys were good enough to make me a new key and fob! Unfortunate, I found my original keys and now they don't work! Very sad. Thought I'd have two sets if I found the old ones!

Went to sign some papers. But monteriddle was as awesome as ever. Love my new vehicle. I highly recommend Nissan of salem and monte riddle. Instead of a trying experience of shopping for a vehicle it turned into one of the best days ever.

Ill knowleged staff. There was a shift change and I went from talking to a young woman who knew what she was talking about, to an older man who had a bewildered look and act while I had to explain my situation 3 times before he understood what we had been doing and what I needed.
