I was referred by a friend who has had good experiences with Bellinger s. They made my experience with them very positive. They were great at communicating through out the whole process. They were competitively priced. And they completed the work ahead of schedule. I will definitely use the again.

Excellent Service! Fast and effective!Again, Mike's Bellinger Automotive came through for us. The other night our brakes went out! I have been going to Bellingers for approximately 20 years - they now work on my third car. The work they have done is exceptional. The greatest value for me however is TRUST - I can always trust and rely on their advice and recommendations! Also they are friendly and courteous. The first time I took my car there. Super friendly. I showed up a day earlier than my scheduled appointment. They accommodated me anyway. Called me to let me know what they had found before moving forward with the work. And had finished the work in a really timely manner.Update: I took my car in thinking it was a problem with my power steering pump. Fully expecting to pay a couple thousand dollars by the time all was said and done. Go to pick up the car, turns out I had a coolant leak due to a couple of loose valves or something that simply needed tightening. And they topped off the fluids. Under $250 out the door! So glad I took my car to these guys! I had just had the car in to a different shop a few weeks ago, asking them to look at this issue, as well as some others. And they didn't get around to this one before returning the car to me. Coolant issues can cause your motor to seize up and require replacement! And I just replaced the motor last November to the tune of $5000! So...I would've been very angry if I had to do it again due to negligence on the last shop's behalf! Thanks so much Brian!

I needed a 90K service on my Volvo and the big dealership service centers quoted me over $2,600. I started looking around for another quote and many local service centers recommended Bellinger. I m so glad I found this place. Not only are they local but they were able to do the service for a fraction of the cost. He was very honest about what needed to be serviced and what areas were in excellent shape and did not need any work. I have little knowledge in this area so always worried that I could be taken advantage of. Not the case at Bellinger! Extremely professional and friendly. I will be going here for now on!

I have been going to Bellinger Tire for more than twenty years. Never in all that time have I been unsatisfied with their work, professionalism, or knowledge of their subject. They are excellent about telling you exactly what your vehicle may need and what you can wait on, they are excellent at keeping track of what they have done in the past, they are excellent at keeping customers posted about the progress of their work. And on top of all that, the mechanics and manger appear to genuinely care about their customers. I had a very positive experience Bellinger Automotive. I was having problems with the electronic power steering on my GMC and Mike was very helpful in working with me to figure out what was needed and to get it fixed. The heater in my 97 Volvo S-90 had stopped working. One issue was fixed by replacing a part. The other issue was a failed electro-mechanical vacuum module that is no longer available. Had my timing belt replaced on my 2000 Golf TDI. I was given an estimate on the repair to include all parts and labor cost. The parts ordered were better than OEM, as an example, the water pump was upgraded to metal vs the OEM plastic. I was told that it would take most of the day to change the timing belt. I picked up the car and shown what was done, shown the old parts replaced to include the fraying timing belt and plastic water pump. I was told to come back on Monday to check the coolant level as it had to be drained and refilled. I am very satisfied with the timing belt replacement. They do great work, are personable, work clean, and use quality parts. They do what they say, and come out right on the estimate! I highly recommend this shop and mechanics, and trust my vehicles to them. They do quick, quality work, and will keep your vehicle in top shape!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great staff. This team takes care of my Subaru (130,000 miles) when it needs more than Firestone can offer. Their quote came in reasonable and they were able to put new front and back breaks on it the same day. Grateful for their good service!

I recently moved to Oregon and started having an issue with the transmission in my 2014 Suabru Crosstrek. I initially took it to Sunnyview Transmission and they told me that it could not be fixed quoted me $7,000 to replace my transmission. I am SO GLAD that I decided to take it to Bellinger Tire for a second opinion. I was initially reluctant to pay for the $150 inspection fee but after the inspection, Bryan informed me that all they needed to do was replace one of the solenoids in my transmission. I ended up paying around $2,000 total for parts and labor. I saved almost $5,000 by going to Bellinger Tire and getting a thorough inspection from someone that actually cares to do the job right.As a young female who knows little to nothing about cars - I could not recommend this place enough. I never felt like they were taking advantage of the fact that they could probably over charge me and I wouldn't even know the difference.Bryan was so pleasant to work with and he was in constant communication with me throughout the entire process. Not a happy customer. Not only did they break a part on my vehicle making it undrivable until they could get a replacement, but they absolutely refused to help me with temporary transportation. I don't live in Salem and I needed a car for work so Uber wasn't an option.It didn't matter that it was their mistake, they claimed paying for a rental "wasn't their policy ".I ended up walking in the pouring rain to the nearest rental office with food poisoning. The rental ended up costing $420 for the amount of time my vehicle was unoperable. Even though I paid them nearly $2000 for services to my vehicle, they wouldn't pay a penny or lift a finger to help me out of the jam they put me in. I walked away feeling cheated.I won't be returning here. Apparently serving their customers "isn't their policy".

Trust this place. Had issues with my Honda Accord, 2007. Things didn't 'feel' right. Had to replace my battery twice in as many years. Turns out they fully charged the battery and gave a tune-up. My car runs so well, I hadn't noticed other issues. Picked up my car the next day... the car drove 'like new' again. I am so pleased. My neighbor referred me. He was right! Staff were pleasant.

They were kind and efficient. The problem was simpler than expected, they stated the facts and although I was frustrated by another person's simple mistake they were fair in their pricing. I will definitely use them again when needed

Bought a car from Michael and he helped me inspect it thoroughly. He was honest and I could of bought the car without test driving it. This business is strong and I fully recommend going here. Trust is a valuable thing for these guys and I felt it as I walked through the door. Thanks again!!

I took my car to Bellinger because I saw their reviews and they were one of the few people in Salem who work on Volvos. Within days of them diagnosing my car with two minor problems my car completely broke down and was unable to start. When I called to resolve the issue with them they would not take responsibility and were rude. I went to a different mechanic and they resolved the issue entirely. Bellinger's completely missed the problem and refused to take responsibility for the unprofessionalism and poor work. Too expensive for horrible service and no help. The owner is rude and obnoxious and thinks he is better than everyone else. They take advantage of women or anyone who doesn't know a ton about cars. Save your money and find somewhere else where there are actually nice people who are willing to help. If I could give negative stars I would.UPDATE:After leaving a negative review on another website, the company reached out to me and will be reimbursing me. I am still leaving it at one star since I was denied a reimbursement previously and it took multiple reviews on different websites to get reimbursement.

Mike at Bellinger's Tire was so helpful in getting my vehicle taken care of in an incredibly fast manner. Not only was he friendly and fast at completing the needed work, but he 100% handled the claim submitted to the warranty company and was sure to get the service covered by the warranty with manufacturer parts. We will certainly be returning customers!

I took my Volvo in for servicing when I thought there was a problem with my power steering unit. I was told that there was nothing wrong with the unit as the noise I was hearing was not a problem. I appreciated the fact that they did not "make up" an issue, and were honest with me. There was no charge for that service. I will continue to have my car serviced at Bellinger Tires.

They work on my old Volvo 850. They have done a good job. They are not inexpensive but owning a Volvo is not either.

I emailed Bellinger after VW could not give me a quote for a problem they diagnosed. Mike was amazing and had a quote to me via email within a few minutes of me sending an e-mail! I was blown away. They got my car fixed up and safe for the road for a very reasonable prices (despite them having to do extra work because my cars computer was being a jerk)! Thanks so much, if you're looking for a shop in Salem look no further! Thanks Mike and Bellinger! :)

Very professional and honest. I had taken my car to power kia and they broke a part while replacing the transmission and then denied breaking it. I took it to Bellinger and they easily diagnosed the problem, fixed it and provided great customer service along the way. Casey is great and made sure I was informed throughout the process.

When I first moved to Salem, driving my Volvo, needing tires, I felt I'd lucked out by seeing a sign for Bellinger Tire, specializing in servicing Volvos (and now other makes). After my first experience, I knew that "lucked out" was an understatement.The mechanics are knowledgeable, experienced and go out of their way to satisfy. The owners and team are there for both excellent service and customer satisfaction. Each time I have service, the mechanics go over the car and provide a list of parts, service that are in good, fair or poor condition; yet with no hard sell or pressure. Just a friendly and safety-minded notice of things to consider in future service.As important as good service and outcome, the company and mechanics respond appropriately and responsibly if there are issues. Many a service company can get good reviews when all goes well; but the truly deserving ones are those that handle themselves well, and as best they can to satisfy, when things do not go as smoothly, even when they had no control over the issues. That, amongst all else, is what makes Bellinger Tire heads above others and worthy of them being your service company.

I am extremely happy with my experience at Bellinger Tire in Salem Oregon today. I brought my truck in to have the oil changed and to check the engine lights and to determine why it was missing when going up hills. The guys were great, changed the oil, cleaned an air flow sensor and determined that my brakes needed to be replaced. The price I was quoted was reasonable and the final bill was less than anticipated.I had a great experience here today with my 99 Tacoma and would highly recommend them to you.
