Went in on 1/8/24 to have the car diagnosed due to check engine light coming on. They told me it was one of the 3 catayltic converters that needed to be replaced and that the cost would be $2600. I reminded them that they had replaced 1 of the 3 catayltic converters back in July of 2021, and asked if it was the same one, or a different one, as the same one would be under warranty. They came back and confirmed it was the same part as the one they had replaced in July of 2021. They said they could replace it free of charge, and could order the part to be there on 1/15/24 to install. I confirmed on 1/15/24 before I went in, to confirm if the part had arrived and they said it had. I went in and they worked on it for 45 mins, only to come tell me that their internet had gone out and that they would need to reschedule the repair for when their internet came back online. We rescheduled for 1/18/24. I touched base this morning before I went in to confirm that everything was good, and they informed me that the part they had ordered was not the right one after all, but that they could order it and reschedule again for 1/22/24.They then changed their story and stated that the cataylic converter that needs replacing now is a different one than they replaced in July of 2021, and told me in order to replace this one, that it would cost $1190 (1/2 of the original cost?). I told them they need to make this right and replace the part, regardless of which one it was, as they had told me up front that it was the same one that they had replaced before, and now all of a sudden its a different part. When they checked to verfy it was the same part before, I took them at their word that it was in fact the same part.Bottom line, if you want to be able to trust what they tell you, i wouldn't. Also, multiple reschedules of apt and still no repair, not very reliable in my opinion.

Yesterday was my first buying experience with Jorge Duarte (sales) at Honda of Salem. In and out of there in 2 hours start to finish for my new car purchase. Jorge was professional and there was no time wasted. I would buy from him again.

Paid $195 for a diagnosis that only got me a "we think it might be" answer. It was unfortunately also incorrect. I understand that it can be hard to give guarantees for car repairs, but I would've hoped that I could've gotten a more concise answer, or at least one that lead me in the right direction for my honda.

Our service advisor Mauricio was fantastic! He took care of our warranty work and helped speed up the repair so we could drive to our grandson s football game that evening. BRAVO SIR, your attention and assistance was EXCELLENT!!! Thank you Mauricio and Honda of Salem!

Well, someone I spoken on the phone to make an appointment for our car that has a recalled. Today we stopped by and ordered having arrived. Will see them on Monday morning. Otherwise, nice service person was nice.Last Monday morning, my wife was there for her 8am for appointment with recalled mirrors, but she saw no one inside the building and guess someone forgot to lock front door. Again she was kind of disappointed and head back home. Guess your service employee forgot about Monday was a holiday.So we'll be gone for 2 months vacation.

Not even worth 1 star. Had an appointment to look at a car, we get there and the car isn't there. Drove from Portland. So unprofessional. Didn't even apologize. Very rude salesperson.

Their service department is garbage. We set up an appointment for a manufacturer recall repair (a week in advance). We drop off the car in the morning for its appointment only to get a call at the end of the day that they needed to order the part! The idea that they did not check their inventory before setting the appointment in order to complete the repair is mind blowing. It takes talent to be that incompetent.

Unbelievable there service department in how they treat customers is so disrespectful my wife went in there for them to replace the water pump on her which was bought from them btw so it s there warranty and there responsibility but anyways I made an appointment so my wife went to drop it off and they were just so rude and disrespectful towards her and our kid s unbelievableService: Auto maintenance
