Had a customer take a car there for a pre purchase inspection and they claimed they needed $2,800 to diagnose a computer issue and recommended ball joints that were solid. They also recommended $2,900 to replace the headlight assemblies over the daytime running light bulbs needing replaced. Definitely suggest being careful or avoiding trusting these guys.

It would have been perfect tens except part of the explanation I got for the repairs I needed or that the tires currently on it all needed to be replaced because they were all junk and that's okay that's nobody's personal issue except for I had taken the vehicle to another Firestone location also in town and while there for an alignment issue I was told they put two brand new front tires in the front so why brand new tires would need to be replaced already from the same provider I would assume the same merchant why would one location have Superior tires to another and the amount of time that they've been on there is not very long less than 60 days and I already needed new ones to replace the ones I already bought that seems like poor quality product for sale

The screws on my license plate were rusted and stripped, and I needed help removing it. The employee who helped me was very nice and understood what was wrong very quickly. I really appreciated the quick and helpful service!

On a Sunday afternoon, had a Flat tire. Called up the store & was quickly taken in. It took sometime for them to get it repaired as there was only 1 person working. But overall it was quick, efficient & professional.

Got new tires and an alignment at my most recent visit. I've gone to them for tires, brakes and oil changes. They were always quick considering the work needing done and prompt about calling to be aure I knew it was ready. Always giving me deals!They will be fixing an error that happened during my most recent visit/service

Dropped off 4 custom made wheels for mounting with 4 new Firestone tires. I left for awhile and got some lunch and shortly after returning, my tires and wheels were one. I'm very happy with my service and will return next time I am needing tires.

I would recommend Eureka Firestone but never the Salem store. They were rude and tried to take advantage of my grandson who was 6 1/2 hrs from home. He finally just had them put his spare on after they had made him wait all day when they knew he had to drive home.

Could have explained invoice requested to open an account with them to save time which could have solved financing issues and retrieved vehicle in a more timely manner, respected my time and finished repairs correctly.

Made an appointment online the day prior and never received a final confirmation. Show up 10 min early the next day for the scheduled time, give my name and was told it would be an all day thing to change my oil. My appointment wasn't for an oil change so I informed the guy that I was here for breaks. His reply was that he couldn't fit that in today that he only had two guys working. I left without making a scene He admitted that he failed to respond to my appointment request. . This is not the first issue I've had with this shop. Nothing terrible, just annoying little things like this with no customer service on their end. I made the appointment here because they are open on Sundays and this was a new and unexpected break issue and I didn't want to wait. Will go back to not using Firestone.

Love taking my car there, very polite and honest staff. Always clean and inviting and I can watch any TV show I want. You folks are the greatest .I have been a customer for 20+ years I think I had 4 cars service there. I have never had a problem with service(s).I love the guys there. Laddie you are the best you have never steered me wrong. You understand when I need service(s) and can't pay at that time you don't push me saying it need it right away.You are so positive; you explain what's wrong in plain language. Love you guys and the work you do. Last time I brought my car here for an oil change they said I needed an alignment even though I did one six months ago, and the new left wiper they put on doesn t make contact with the center of the windshield.

I brought my first ever truck I owned here for the years I had it and they always took great care of me and the truck. One of the guys, I believe his name is Mike, he knew I could do some mechanical stuff on my own and would be upfront about what he thought I might be able to tackle, and what he would recommend they take care of for me. I even had to get my truck towed into their shop a couple miles away due to my belt snapping and they treated me well and got me out of there in no time!

Absolutely the worst service I've ever had. Unless you want to pay 4x the original quote cost, lied to and talked to like you re dumb, DO NOT go here. The manger himself didn't even inform me of a serious leak my car has if it wasn't for me looking over the inspection sheet. Oh and they tried scheming their way into me getting a credit card (through them) or even a bank loan so I can pay them to fix my car. Unprofessional and rude.Service: Engine repair

First off I took my Mercedes in and these idiots had no idea what to do with it but they took the job on anyways. They didnt put a cap on the boot they had destroyed and didn't tell me they destroyed it and told me the transmission needed to be replaced. It cost me around $2,000. I took my car to the real Mercedes repair shop on commercial street and they replaced all the damage that was done by these so-called mechanics at fire stone, I can not say enough good things about the Mercedes repair shop compared to Firestone. I would rather pay a monkey to fix my car than Firestone. Another thing I noticed the "discounts" they give are made up because they literally choose how much they want to charge you on the spot. Don't get screwed and just don't use dishonest mechanics like these. Please do not waste your money here unless you need an oil change only. Do not let them sell you premium air for your tires and do not let them sell you anything at all they get commission for all that they oversell you. Go somewhere that they pay by the hour for a mechanics honest work.

Unprofessional behavior. Very rude on the phone explaining prices. My boyfriend was quoted a price online and in the store but it wasn t until after he left his car there that they called him with a price that was 2x more! Tried to bully him into paying the price by blaming him for not answering his phone a couple days ago (why wasn t the correct quote given to him at the location?) Employee threw the keys at him when he got there to pick up his car and refused the last couple of deals offered to him. Don t take your car here.

They are really friendly and try to be helpful but they missed on my vehicle. Bettery kept dying and told them how many new batteries I had tried and I m 3 months it would die again. They said they would find diagnostics on it and it will tell them what s wrong. I already knew it wasn t the alternator so when they initially started it they said my battery is bad maybe that s the problem ..seriously?!?! They sold us a new battery. Needed one anyways. But they said they found nothing wrong it must of been the battery. So if they are right I ll change the review to 5 if they are wrong it s going down to 1 because they didn t listen to what I said about the repeating pattern of new batteries dying. And sold me a useless diagnostics testing and new battery but at least it s under warranty when it dies ..if it dies.

The worst place to take your car to. Send your commercial car to them and I promise you will go back for different issue. I took one of our commercial vehicles to them to have the brakes checked and they messed everything up. Car was fine only has 100k miles. Chevy car built to be a monster. This is my 4th car same model. I have mechanic experience. They are not professional and there employee s suck. I was told that u gonna check everything, and u made so much problems off the car, I assumed u fixed everything, but u did something made my car shake ( when I never had that ) and when I took it back they said it s not them problem they haven t check the engine and they only worked on tires ???????????? What about the water pump that u said that u fixed ? Wasn t part of the engine? I highly don t recommend this place ( it s trap)

I was so very disappointed in my experience with this specific store at this location. I had some ideas of what might be wrong with my car after it overheated pretty badly on the side of I-5 at 4:30 in the morning. After calling my lifesavers at Triple AAA I was able to get my car towed here since it was one of the only businesses open that Saturday. To my extremedisappointment, the shop had no mechanic on staff to even run a diagnostic on my car until Monday morning. After I phoned Monday late afternoon to get an update I was told no staff/mechanic was available to look at my car again but they had called in some additional help and my car would be looked at the next day, Tuesday. The next day I get a super confusing call saying they weren t entirely sure of what was actually wrong but knew for certain they could not fix or repair my vehicle???!!! WHAT??!! My mom/dad called back to speak with a technician who assured them there was no charge (uh thanks?) for the diagnostic since they couldn t fix it, told my parents most likely it was a blown head gasket and that I was looking at a few thousand dollars to fix it!!!! Fast forward I had it towed back to my house and managed to track down a family friend who happens to be a mechanic and had just come back from vacation. Not only did he take one quick look at my car WITHOUT running a diagnostic and tell me there was absolutely no sign of a blown head gasket- but that he could fix the serpentine belt needed and repaired whatever was happening with my alternator. He added some coolant and sealed up the small leak causing me to overheat!! Why is it ok for these kinds of shops to completely brush off women like myself who don t know much about cars and give them made up stories completely freaking them out to where their ready to plop down $3000+ because OF COURSE each time you walk in places like Les Schwab or Firestone you better get ready to leave feeling completely hosed and taken advantage of. I will never recommend this shop or bring my business anywhere near here

Do not buy tires at any firestone. They sold us tires that failed in under 2 years. All 4 were shot dispite regular rotations. They told us that some tires have been made "too soft" and fail early. They gave us a wimpy discount to replace them.

This firestone location has been great. The customer service has been amazing, their willingness to help and build a TRUSTING relationship is absolutely awesome. Both of these are so hard to come by these days. They keep my car running and in great shape. Always willing to assist with any help I need or questions/concerns I have. I'm so thankful for this team. I highly recommend.

Very professional service and easy to deal with. Bought tires online from tirerack.com and had them delivered here for installation. The end cost was cheaper than quoted online. Definitely a great option.

My family have been customers of this location, faithfully, for many years. It was terribly cold yesterday and in the middle of my hectic Monday - I picked up a nail on the road. I limped my poor VW into the shop after giving the store a call for heads up. When I got a call back a couple hours later after having gone back to work, they said I'd picked up a nail, but they patched the hole and I was good to go. Laddie was initially who helped me, but Mike finished up the service. They were both so kind and made me laugh (good stress relief) and made an otherwise unexpected mishap not a disaster for a Monday. I just want to say how Mike has repeatedly gone above and beyond and it feels like we're visiting family to get our vehicles serviced as needs arise. I also have been meaning to get washer fluid because the light has been dinging at me for two weeks; the boys topped it off and reset my sensor free of charge. I would have been happy to pay for it, but, they just did it and around this time of year, every little bit helps. I can't thank Firestone enough for employing these great people. If there's a problem, they fix it and get it right the first time - without charging an arm and a leg. Thanks so much, Mike and team.
