These guys helped me out big time today. I got 3 new tires but ended up needing to be towed home because I had some issues that had been uncovered during the change out (not their fault and not an issue that can't be fixed). Talk about feeling grateful. I was towed at no cost to me to my place down the street. You guys are amazing! I appreciate you so much.

First time at Discount Tire. Very easy to order. Fast friendly service in the shop. I needed to reschedule my apt and they were able to get me in on the same day, later in time. Pleased. I will definitely return!

This was my first visit to Discount Tire. I'd like to start out by saying that I am very impressed with Mr. Ace Cruz, the Senior Assistant Manager. He helped me get the exact tires and wheels that I wanted. I initially placed my order on-line. There were delays in receiving the tires and wheels due the recent snow and ice storms. This was not Discount Tire's fault. The tires I wanted were either sold out or on back order from the MANY other retailers that I shopped at before making my Discount Tire purchase. Not only did Discount Tires have them, but I got them at a great price. The same was true of the wheels. These were a clearance item and I wanted them for my winter tires. Mr. Cruz was able to get them for me as well. In addition he kept me informed of the progress of the tires and wheels being shipped across the country. When I arrived at my appointment, I was told it would take about an hour to install the wheels and tires, which it did. While I was there waiting, I had the opportunity to watch all of the staff members interact with their customers both in person and on the phone. Once again, I was very impressed with excellent customer service that the staff was providing to their customers. Everyone was courteous, friendly and professional. It was obvious that they do care about their customers and that they would do anything and everything in their power to help their customers get what they wanted and needed. So, I went ahead and bought a second set of tires for our SUV at that appointment, as I found out that our current tires were running very low on tread. Normally I would have shopped around, as I had until April to find those tires. However, after receiving excellent customer service myself and watching others get the same, I decided that this Discount Tire location is my new place to buy all of my tires. Thanks again Ace! You are the reason that I will be buying tires for all of my vehicles at Discount Tire. I really appreciate the fact that you really went out of your way to help me. I really appreciate it!

We had a tire blow out on our way to the coast from Central Oregon. Our car required a special order tire that wasn t immediately in stock. We were able to secure a car to get back to Central Oregon and had the car towed to Discount Tire. I ve never had any experience with them previously but the customer service was on point. Abram quickly got us quotes and info regarding the tires, ordering and scheduling. We ended up having the tires in a day and they handled the entire ordeal with great professionalism and made the entire situation a lot less stressful for us. Thanks guys we appreciate you and will certainly recommend!

Awesome people and really nice. They took a nail and fixed my tire and didn't charge me. Make sure you make an appointment if you can or you'll wait a bit. I'll be happy to pay just a little more for tires from them due to their customer service. I bought tires from tire rack for my truck and discount tires installed them. A year later they needed balanced and I took it to one when I was in Wyoming.... Rotated and balanced free of charge. Highly recommend these people!!!!

Had a tire emergency the night before our trip to California. Ace was GREAT! At 4pm he told us to bring the car down and replaced the damaged tire. These guys are awesome. Great service, accommodated our emergency with a smile. Had the exact tire we needed in stock (, couldn't find it anywhere else). Thank you Ace and team. You are still my Heroes!

I ordered snow tires at the end of November online because of the price. I scheduled my appointment online for December 21. I was called on December 3 I believe and was told my tires would be in on the 19th because they were coming from Chicago. Which I was fine with because my appointment was for the 21st. I received an email about my payment for the tires and the tires were in and if I still wanted them. I called the store to question what the problem was and they told me my tires were in and they needed payment. I told him I paid online and have a confirmation number. He said he would speak with his manager and I would get called in the morning. This didn't happen and I took it upon myself to go into the store and question them. I was given a bunch of I don't know answers. I ended up paying for them again. I had to reschedule my appointment because of this which is frustrating. When my kid went in to get the tires done she arrived at 1145 and the car didn't get put into the bay until 1240. I do not see the faster priority treatment for making an appointment. When I saw the receipt I saw there was a refund. I asked my kid of they explained what this was and she said no. They just handed her the paperwork and leftFollow up to review 12/26The store manager reached out. He was able to answer my concerns. Online orders compared to in person orders have glitches. He agrees some education to the staff needs to be done and the online issues need to be addressed by their cooperation IT department. The concerns are going to be forwarded

Nice service nice people but bad bad experience. I really wanted to like it here but I will never return. I watched them lower my vehicle all the way down when there were only three tires on it. Then they took my chrome valve stem caps and replaced them with black plastic ones. I had to ask for my original ones back and they acted like they had no idea. The final nail in the coffin was the fact that I have special spline drive lugs that require a special socket. I forgot to mention that but I had one in my glovebox. Well turns out I didn t need to tell them, looks like they riffled through my entire vehicle and DECIDED TO KEEP IT. They stole from me twice and almost dropped my vehicle off the jacks. They don t even have lifts here, just four floor jacks!! Thanks for the terrible experience discount tire.

After scouring Salem for a used tire and coming up empty-handed and every other place I called wanting at least $165 for a new tire I spoke with Abram who said he could get me a tire for $108. I drove down there and was assisted by Eric who was very kind to me and after assessing the terrible state that all of my tires were in and understanding my financial hardship, he spoke with someone in the back and they gave me the most amazing deal and instead of leaving with one tire I was able to leave with four brand new tires! they have created a customer for life and I hope they realize how much they are appreciated

I have been a Discount Tires customer for longer than I can remember. My family and I just recently moved from Flagstaff, AZ to Molalla, OR and I purchased new tires from the Discount Tires in Salem. Well, last week I had my tires rotated and it was a great experience. Jose, the Assistant Manager, has helped me both times. I honestly believe he is just a decent human being. I'm not sure if it's just Oregon or what, but kindness here seems to be difficult to find. In any event, I'm thankful that there are still nice people in this world. Thank you, Jose.

Definitely recommend them for your tire and wheel services because of the service they provide. You can expect a team member to come meet you at your car in the parking lot and ask your needs. The team is very friendly and always want to put the client first.

When I went there to use my warranty for my tires, Abram willingly figured out how to process it and had the tires ordered. Abram is an excellent help. Very professional and listens to the customer. His customer service is on point. I appreciate the experience.

They were very busy, so even though I had an appointment, they didn't start with my car until an hour after my appointment slot. Also their front door was broken, so it was quite loud and cold in the lobby since the doors were open while being repaired.I would definitely recommend dropping off your car and picking it up when they're finished if possible.

I came in looking for a specific tire and was greeted by Eric who knew exactly what I wanted. He ordered the tires for me and explained how everything would go. The next day i came in and Abram got me all set up and I was in and out in 30 min. I will definitely be buying all my tires here from now on

probably the most customer focused company out there. Every interaction has been a positive. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.My first interaction with discount tire was 14 months ago when i got a flat. I have always purchased my tires through costco, for the past 20ish years. However, costco would not the flat due to sealent (fix a flat) being used.I called around and discount tire was the first to call be back. They agreed to repair the tire if possible, dependent upon damage location.I was in and hour in an hour. No charge. They were slammed at the time.So why the post today? I bought new tires. Had the old ones checked for wear. Costso said i should replace them, discount said i could go another 2-3k before replacement was required at 4/32.However, they had a 10% promotion, and strong winter weather was coming in, i decided today was the day. Discount tire matched costco's lower price, before the promotion. Making it technically cheaper, if i would not have also ordered the certificates, which come free with costco.End in end, i ended up paying about 15% more ($160) more, but feel that the free repairs and killer customer service, is well worth it.This is the kind of company i will strongly support.

Top notch professionalism here, from the first phone call no pressure or upsells to the lobby experience. There is a bit of a wait to be checked in, but it s because they are so conscientious dealing with each customer. They have taken time and given each one attention and respect. Meanwhile, in the shop, the mechanics are working like bees on caffeine. I could list more highlights, but take my word .

I am SUPER impressed with the quality of service I got from Jordan, from Chris, and the tire crew. I had bent a rim, so I bought a pair of wheels but put the wrong package type in for my car (EX, LX, Sport) so the wheels I ordered wouldn't fit the tires I have. Chris worked all kinds of magic and helped me get my car back on the road with minimal additional costs by way of a huge discount on a pair of tires. Even though it was totally my mistake, Chris saved me a lot of money doing what he did, and the tire crew had the tires swapped in a very short time. It was a super busy Saturday afternoon, 2:30pm and they were BUSY, but I was back on the road by 3:30. In the hour that I sat and waited, I watched these men bust their butts while treating each customer that came in with utmost professional courtesy (in English and Spanish). I can't say enough good things about these guys.

Quick and efficient tire installation. I love that the waiting area doesn't smell like tires, unlike Les Schwab. I'd much rather wait here for an hour than their competitor for even ten minutes.

I was checked in promptly and courteously, and, only 2 hours later, was told they had repaired my tire free of charge and I could get back on the road.That s right a free tire repair, done very fast. I can t say it ll happen for everyone, but that was my experience and I m so grateful.

Drove in and told Eric what I wanted. He didn't try to pressure me into anything at all but did convince me to get the warranty, which is always a good idea. He also got me a discount I didn't know about. I couldn't believe it, they got the job done in under an hour. Eric and his coworker crew are amazing.

Spendy tires don't see a discount at all. But what bothers me is being quotes one time and 30 minutes after quoted end time my car is still sitting where I parked it. Took me complaining for them to even get it in the bay. Last visit here for tires

I have not had an extreme issue with this location except, they rep a local company that pretends they are a professional Chassis and alignment company. I asked for a good professional alignment company that I could use and one of the employees handed me a card for RJ Chassis and Dynamics. I utilized this companies services for alignment purposes on two vehicle, neither of the alignments held for very long and actually ruined the tires on my tires that Discount Tire installed. I have two tires that are worn even , one that is almost bad and one that is half bald. I asked RJ Chassis to check the alignment and let me know if the alignment was off and that is all. They realigned my steering, didn't even tighten everything on the suspension and then attempted to charge me for they're mistakes and the work they did without consent. All I asked was for them to inspect the shotty work that they did a couple months prior. Discount Tire of Salem, OR., would not help me after my tires were ruined by a company they recommended. Two of my tires have good tread that will last for a long while and Discount will not even service my tires now. This seems like a scam to get people to spend more money.

Made an appt for my car a week in advance, showed up early for my appt but they were clearly way behind. I understand being busy. I also understand that they need to stack as many people as possible in each day to make money. What was upsetting to me was that an appt here is sometimes really not an appt to get your car in and out, it's really a drop off time appt. If I have an appt, i expect that within a few minutes of arriving my car will be started on, not "ok it will be done today". Again i understand that the store needs to be making money from open to close, i get that. In the future i will know better and it is my hope that they are more transparent about the reality of the wait when booking these appts.After a comedy of errors that took all day and three trips across town to FINALLY be able to get my car out of there on some new tires... I was finally done. It took three trips up in the air to get my car right.Why four stars? Because everyone there from the first guy I talked to, to the assistant manager, and to the manager himself took me seriously, tried to accommodate me and were very apologetic for the situation. Most importantly they got it right and made it right by me as well.Thank you, i have always liked discount tire and you guys at the Salem store are no exception.

I found out from my mechanic that I had a bent wheel from the previous owner. Found out a new stock wheel was hard to come by and about $500 so I set out to just get a new set. Spent months waiting to find out that the wheels I had asked for weren't being produced anymore and he became difficult to reach so I went to Discount Tire. They were really on the ball. Immediately called me when the wheels I had picked were unavailable and we went through a few different choices until we were able to find something that I liked that fit my car's bolt pattern. They got the wheels in to their location in about 24 hours and I was able to get my wheels changed next day. They're extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier with my new wheels and the service provided. Thank you to all of you at Discount Tire!

I've been using Discount Tire for over 10 years. Their customer service is phenomenal. Always friendly and always keeping you up to date on everything they are doing or what they may have found. They give great prices and will price match and work with you as well. One set of tires I got didn't last long at all and they gave me credit towards my new set since it didn't last the warranty. They also make sure you're set up with working wipers if need be. My only "complaint" is that there aren't more stores. Unfortunately I have to come to Salem location every time, so it's not very convenient. I wish they had more.

Great crew. Fast and do good work. Pro Tip: go online and schedule an appointment if you can. These guys get slammed and walk-ins may have to wait several hours.
