In the last two days we purchased a battery for our riding mower, and unexpectedly, the very next day, we had to buy a battery for our Nissan Rogue. The mower battery was put in by us, but the car battery was installed by Battery X-Change. The two men who helped us, Andre Bennett, and Armando Nino, were friendly, quick, and efficient with the installation. We were pleased with the service, and the price! We will definitely do business with them again!

I called to get information about the warranty on a defective battery, the receptionist spoke to me in a very condescending way. Very unprofessional and uninterested in trying to address my needs. I will never give this location my business based on this mans attitude towards the customers.

I Highly recommend to take your vehicle here I took my van there and they got it right in no BS and took care of what needed to be fixed. They are really reasonable with prices and their work is the best I've had around Salem!!! I'd rate more than 5 stars if I could!!And I definitely will be taking my van there from now on

It was late Saturday afternoon when I showed up with my car knowing I had been told I needed both the battery and alternator replaced in my car. Armando and Andre were both so kind and kept the shop open to replace them for me so I wouldn t be without a car Easter morning. I m so thankful to you both!! Great service and experience from the Battery X-change!!

This store has gone downhill over the years. Price given per battery isn't what it used to be. Still better than the competitor, but that competitor has way better customer service. With no attitude when I walk into their store to sell a dead battery. I have a hard time believing them when they tell me, on the phone, they're accepting batteries. Yet, when I get there 10 minutes later, and they say they've already taken as many as they could for the day. Or that if I have 100 batteries they can do it. Either way, this is at 9:30am. Come on now...

Armando and the staff here are great! Very helpful, very knowledgeable and very capable of diagnosing and fixing most issues with your vehicles charging system. I highly recommend this business if you need a battery or alternator for your car.

It's kind of different because I was told by a certified mechanic that the car needed a battery. They pulled it in and ran a check and found the battery was good. He told me to come back when I need a battery and I can tell you right now that's what I'll do.Scott Audiss

They had a heavy duty battery for my Ram 1500 at a very competitive price and had it installed in 10 minutes. Clean. organized shop. While I was there I also saw they do oil changes for less than I have been paying and with quality oil. I am definitely going back.

The guys that work here are awesome. I have been here quite a few times with different cars, and every single time their professionalism, helpfulness and low prices make my day. Whether you know a lot about cars or nothing at all, for anything battery/alternator related I would HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Super friendly and fast service. I ve been going here for years and never been disappointed. My wife went in when I was out of town because she had to be jump started and thought her battery was shot. They told her it was fine and sent her on her way. I ve sent several friends in here and they ve never tried to up sell any of them and always been fast and professional

Was having issues with a battery for my SUV and they were able to tell me it was bad and I was able to get a replacement battery right away and was in my way within 20m or so.

This place was terrible. I don't know if it was just this one particular guy that I talk to or if all of them like that. But this guy wouldn't listen to me after he told me to bring the car in and he wouldn't even check my alternator or anything else to see it was working right. All they did was look at the date on the battery and tell me that I have to go take it someplace else and get the battery charged before they can test it. I will never go to these people again and I would never recommend anything it was the worst experience of my life.

Fast service, easy to navigate. Used them many times and have been happy, but unfortunately key pins were not reinserted after installation of our Nissan battery causing an extra step on our part. Wish I wasn t in paying at the time or I would have caught it.

I've purchased 3-4 car batteries and had some electrical work done here over the years. They always provide quick, reasonably priced services.

Came in to get a battery. Sign said to walk up to garage door. Asked them about a battery and they said the price. ( never said there s no refunds or restocking fee) 30 min later I come back to return it since my dad apparently got me a battery. The clerk wasn t so happy anymore ( says they don t do refunds it says in the office) Well I wasn t allowed to walk in there. no receipt was issued and also nothing mentioned And there s a restocking fee. Not bad they made $20 in 30 min. Don t think that s fair business. Quite expensive to put the battery back on the shelf.... ( unused battery )

I didn't get my battery replaced or have anything serviced but I can say these guys were very friendly and helpful and helped me to understand exactly what I needed to make my car run smoothly

I get my oil changed here. They are Always super quick and professional. I haven't had any problems with them and I doubt you'll find anywhere more reasonably priced.

NEVER AGAINAfter almost 20 years of doing business here and many referrals,,,,never again!! NEVER AGAIN!! After being stranded by a faulty battery that was purchased here 4 days prior, dealing with several days of transportation chaos, having to be rescued late at night, borrowing a friends car to get to work, bumming a ride to a different repair shop where i was located. I was met with an attitude that was worse than the faulty battery. Rude and total disregard, refusal to refund or apply in store credit and claiming the battery that was just recharged by the other shop was just fine. The $150.00 for the faulty battery was bad enough but Armando's attitude and disregard for fairness superseded that factBob C.

Bought a battery brand new in November. Battery died in march had a 2 year warranty. Wouldn't replace battery or give me cash back even though I had receipt. very rude service . said its my fault that I am at fault somehow . Would recommend Walmart cheaper batteries and real warranties.

smart, professional and thorough. They checked my 98 Jeep and recommended changing the differential oil too, but NOT pushy very grateful for their services - they are a full-service shop, not just batteries

They say they take used batteries but everything I go the big guy says they not accepting them and that's that I called first and was told to bring them in

This place is AWESOME! Andre' went above and beyond to get me the exact battery I was asking for - for my old beater (2000 Mercury Sable) and he helped me out with it, had it in the car & the car was pulling out of Battery Exchange parking lot in less than 15 minutes! Amazing! Keep up the good work buddy. Your the man!!!! I WILL be back for sure and I have referred several folk to Battery Exchange since June 06, 2019. Andre': Thanks man ! HIGHLY RECOMENDED SHOP! Battery kept dying while we were in salem for a wedding. Had half an hour til the wedding and found this place. We were in and out in ten minutes with a new battery and made it to the wedding on time. Great service and reasonable price.
