This was our first time doing the RV thing. We stumbled across this rv park and we're not disappointed. The host are very sweet on live on premises in case anything needs attention. They have a laundry on site which was great. It also has a nice recreation room with puzzles and books to read. Also has a small kitchen area, all community areas. Any site you get is great, if you don't stay by the water it's OK they are all easy access to water just a small walk. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Very nice rv area. River runs right next to it. Only thing I did not like was, it was close to road and we could hear the cars in the evening. If you happen to go to Safari park, it's a few minutes away. The couple that takes care of the park said to check groupon for discounts which saved us 28 dollars. If I come.back this way, I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend if you have little ones of all ages. Stores are also near by in case you forget last minute items.

The staff that works this park are unfathomably rude. They run around being really disrespectful to people. Shouting at random park viewers that they are unwelcome and need to leave.. I was interested in staying here until they threatened me telling me they would take legal action and that they have me on camera. Have me on camera leisurely walking my dogs to view the park? Really disgusting..

What a nice campground!! We needed to come in a day early and stay longer. They so nicely accommodated our request. The river spots are lovely and my husband was able to fly fish right behind our trailer. There is some road noise, so maybe try to get a spot farther back in the campground. Great cable hookup with their own remote. Laundry facility was spotless and had lots of washers and dryers.

Sweat little spot next to a river. Super quiet. Has a mix of full time and travel spots. Ample area for our RV with a spot to park the Jeep right next to us. Grassy area on either side with a little fence partition. Laundry was clean and well kept. Shower bathrooms were brand new. The site was gravel, but we pack pads for our jacks.Safety: Had a gated entry you needed a code to get into the park.Food & drinks: Food and drink nearby.

A little gem tucked away along the Umpqua River. We were traveling to a dog show at the Douglas Fairgrounds and choose Rising River RV Park because of their favorable reviews; we were not disappointed! We stayed 3 nights in site 18, what a beautiful view of the river. The staff is extremely friendly, the park itself is well kept and supper well maintained, the showers, bathroom and laundry facilities are some of the nicest and cleanest that we've come across. The park is pet friendly and has 2 small dog areas for a little leg stretching. There is a little path down towards the river with some benches so you can enjoy the scenery even if your site doesn't back up to the river. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy some downtime you can't go wrong with Rising River.

Staff members are nice. Pictures are a little misleading. Spots are close together, and not all have trees and shade. We paid extra for a river spot, big mistake, ended up by the trash bins and dog park, no trees, and direct sun all day. It s a small RV park, which is fine, but more permanent residents than expected. The road noise, NEVER STOPS we had to sleep with ear plugs and windows closed. If you re looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, keep looking.

We stayed for 2 nights, very small RV park by the river. Staff are very accommodating, Laundry rooms is clean and all bathrooms are very well kept. There is an access to the river which makes it really nice. I think its a little pricey (94/night at river side)but then again, better than staying at a motel and its only 3 miles from wildlife Safari. I would ve given them 5 star but the price per night is too steep for its quality.

This RV resort was really well maintained, our gravel pad was level, our neighbors were quiet and courteous, nights were really really quiet. During the day there is the road noise, but really only while outside and not a deal breaker. The river views are very pretty. The park attendants were easily accessible by phone and visible while moving around the park (I didn't need to approach them so I do not have a review about onsite assistance, but they appeared friendly.) We would stay here again. Thank you Rising River for great accommodations.

We stopped here for a night to go see the Wildlife Safari right down the road and the RV Resort did not disappoint. Was greeted by the front desk receptionists, then told Don & Peggy would escort us to our site. The people were nothing but friendly and these were the nicest and cleanest showers I have ever been in at a campground. Laundry is available (at a cost). Would definitely come back and recommend this to others. Not sure if "Service" was meaning the staff or the wifi, I interpreted it as wifi, and the service for it was in and out since others were using it as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. We had a site overlooking the river with a trail leading to a grassy wide expanse next to the river with benches to sit and relax. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well kept. Great experience. Would recommend and would stay here again

It was my pleasure to do some maintenance work for Rising River RV Resort. I dealt mostly with Dan and Peggy as well as the year before. They are such an incredibly cheerful couple, fun to be around and pleasant to do business with! The resort is also at a great location. I enjoyed taking a lunch break on the bench by the riverside.

Worst rv park. By the freeway, had to wear earplugs to sleep. Laundry only open 9 to 9 when guests are out exploring, very inconvenient. The coin machine was broken. No knowledge of the local area. Stay someplace else. This is mostly live in Rv s. Not good for travelers. Also could not sit outside as the freeway noise was so bad. It s by the river if you want to hike down there.

My husband and I have been at the RV park for 2 1/2 months and just left for home. Such a great place. Beautiful, quiet and friendly. We can t say enough about Peggy and Dan. They handle the maintenance, cleaning, mowing and probably everything else. Oh my gosh such friendly nice couple. We will miss them. Hope to be back next year. Thank you Rick and Mary

We have been stopping and camping here on our way to Arizona for the past 3 years. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, clean campground and spotless bathroom. Very secure with gate and locked bathrooms. Right on the river, we'll be back!

This is a lovely park. It is clean with no clutter. Landscaping is beautiful. Right on the river. Spots are level, gravel, and spacious. Grass and picnic table at most spots. The very nice owner and staff were helpful and clearly take pride. Nice necessities shop with local chocolates to purchase. Two fenced off-leash dog areas. Some have mentioned a sketchy neighborhood at the entrance. It is simply an older trailer park.Nothing scary at all. This place is worth every dime of the $55 fee. Maybe more.

We really like Rising River RV! It's our second time here. You get escorted to your RV spot. We have a small trailer, so we often use the shower facilities, and here they are locked and private. Added plus? It *IS* right on the river!!

We have been at Rising River little over a year and have enjoyed every day here. Peggy and Dan take such wonderful care of the grounds, i.e. mowing, spraying weeds and blowing leaves in fall, keeping the gate working, putting up Christmas lights, setting out beautiful flower baskets along the entrance in spring and so much more. Thank you Peggy & Dan.There is also Abe who keeps everything looking beautiful on the weekends along with guiding people to their spot when they arrive. The new management has done a lot of great things since taking over and really like them. Becky in the office is absolutely awesome she is always professional and very helpful. We had to extend our stay a few times and I can t thank Becky and the others enough for working with us.Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the river last summer as did we.Thank you to everyone for making our stay so nice and will definitely recommend others to stay here.Wendy & Joe Murphy

We stayed here for 5 days. A couple of the days were due to a slide out gear breaking. The staff was wonderful helping us and allowing us to stay longer then our 2 day planned stay. Everyone in the office and support staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and fun. We had a beautiful, green river front space. I would love to stay here again sometime. Thanks for a great experience!

Owner changed policies after we reserved, we were called 10 days prior to visit and told if we didn't pay in full our reserved site would be given away for higher rate and we would be given a lesser site for same price. Although we were told to pay in full on arrival at reservation time.Lots of rules that were not inforced. Lots of oversized rvs parked partway in roads with caution cones.Never saw anyone from site enforcing rules. Common areas blocked by campers.

This park is beautiful:1) the Umpqua river is literally out our back door2) very well kept lawns, shrubbery and trees3) clean restrooms andshowers4) nice (clean) rec room and laundry facilities. The staff here couldn't be nicer. Friendly, helpful and hard working, all of them. The only drawback here? Traffic noise from the highway near by. But, it does quiet down in the evening. Worth it? YES!

We got lucky enough to find this hidden gem while traveling through. It s beautiful. Driving to it looks a little odd at first but once you get inside the park it s not bad at all. We got riverside which was wonderful to wake up you. They give you the option of pulling in or backing in. So you have the best view of said River. I highly recommend this place. Oh, it also has a cute little dog park which is always a plus to let the pups run.

The price was nice, the site was level, the restrooms were clean with all stalls and sinks in working order. And the showers were really nice, with multiple hooks, a bench seat and lots of hot water. We were escorted to our site. Everything worked as it should! Just a little close to the main highway.
