Walt is my Hero! My baby and I unexpectedly encountered car troubles while passing through Grants Pass. Walt went above and beyond, coming to us and got my car in running order. He was honest and fair. Truly a gentleman who is obviously handy with the socket wrench! Thank you Walt - many thanks I definitely highly recommend Walt and his shop!

Walt was on it when I needed car help. He is fast, efficient and skilled at his craft. He got me the parts I needed quickly and repaired my car at my convenience. His rates are super super reasonable considering that he drives to where you are with all tools necessary for the job and a great attitude as well. I have multiple businesses that rely on our vehicles for everything we do when one goes down it means we don t get to service our customers. One of my trucks went down so I called around and found Walt im sure glad i did he came out quick and fixed my truck to get us back on the road while saving me the money and hassle of a tow truck. Walt is friendly and affordable, we will be using him for all our work and personal vehicles going forward, and I will be recommending him to anyone in need of a good honest mechanic. Totally saved me. Hundreds of miles from home and broke down on a Sunday. Showed up in less than an hour and did full diagnostic. Fixed for way less than a shop would have cost. Thanks Walt

I was trapped on the side of the road, almost a thousand miles away from home, I called everyone and anyone I could, nobody wanted to help me, that is until I called Walt! He showed up for me when no one else would, he came at 11 at night, fixed up my car in total darkness, and had me laughing the whole time! Great service! Great communication! Just an honest and good natured human being! Walt was the reason I made it home, and he didn t stop when the job got tough! Thank you Walt!

I was leaving for a trip when my radiator cracked on my truck. I called around for a shop to fix it and everyone was busy, days out. I called The Driveway Mechanic and of coarse he as busy also but said he would do the job in the evening for me. He kept in contact with me but while waiting i decided to pull it myself. He messaged me back and was getting ready to come fix it but I was able to do it myself. I commend him for going out of his way to keep contact with me and was going to follow through to help me! Thank you, I will call you again hopefully not in such a quick need though!

My wife and I like strange vehicles that are not easy to work on nor source parts. That in mind, Walter has challenged himself to some seriously tricky projects on our rare imports. He is communicative, patient, flexible, gracious, and handles his business in a loving caring way. He takes his time doing things right rather than fast and acceptable, which is commendable. Took a trip and blew my power steering pump rack and pinion. Walter came out as soon as he could. Communicated with me the whole time as to when he would be able to get to me. When he showed up I was so relieved to see him. He looked under my hood and says to me it's going to be ok. Then told me that it was more then just the pump that I originally thought was my problem. He ordered the parts and told me his employee was going to be there the next day with the parts and tools to get me back on the road. Just as he promised his guy came and conquered. If you don't know what goes into fixing these parts you might not understand the significance of what these men accomplished on the side of the highway. So thankful for him and his knowledge and professionalism. I generally don t like mechanics, and I generally don t leave reviews, but this was my best experience I ve ever had with a mechanic. Fair prices, got me scheduled in the same day, got the job done right. Definitely earned a repeat customer.

Walter and his crew are amazing. Work was thorough and skillful, everything done very well. Communication was excellent with the willingness to make sure all that was needed was explained. They worked hard to get it back to me by when I needed, even when the job ended up being much bigger then expected. Fair price and most importantly~Honest and caring. Walter s mobile service came out to CJ, quickly effected a repair on battery wires, and got the vehicle running. Also jumped the other dead vehicle, diagnosed its issues, and emailed an estimate and parts needed list within an hour or so. My wife and I were in dire straits on Friday, as we were leaving for her surgery on Sunday. Our 2015 pathfinder was dead in the water with a bad radiator fan assembly. We called Walter and although he was very busy and usually would have to schedule us out he instead came on Saturday and performed the repair quickly and efficiently. Walter was courteous and kind in his communications to us as well. Thank you sir for saving the day. We will definitely use your services again, hopefully tho we won t need them lol. Hooyah, a job well done.

Walt and his team are the best! My 97 Class B van broke down while passing through Medford on a Saturday evening and Walt was the only mechanic quickly responsive and able to work on it on the weekends as everything else is closed. I had it towed to Grants Pass and Walt was there first thing Sunday morning. (He would have come out that night but I was too exhausted after driving all day.) He was very knowledgeable and quick to figure out the problem. He got it running again in a matter of three hours. I still had concern after he left as my van was not making the buzzing noise it s supposed to make when it starts, so he sent Drew out the next morning and he got it buzzing again in 30 minutes. I can t forget to mention how reasonable their prices are and they were both very friendly. These guys really know what they re doing and I cannot recommend them enough. It was a huge plus that Walt was familiar with working on Class B RVs as well. Nobody likes for their vehicle to break down but if you re lucky enough to break down in the Medford/Grants Pass area, give these guys a call and they will take care of you immediately. This person is unstable and made threats to me over the phone. After setting up two appointments with me and not showing up or calling to cancel, or reschedule either one of them, on the third day I had to reach out to him when he failed to call or show up again. It was at that time he decided to double the price of what he originally quoted for the job. I then obviously reminded him that that s not what he quoted me, and even sent him a screenshot of his original quote. He then got very upset and started making verbal threats over the phone and then proceeded to send a borage of text messages, all threatening and insulting in nature. Also made remarks about me crying to my mother who is recently passed, so that really hurt pretty bad and that s why I m leaving this comment. Normally I don t leave negative comments, but this guy doesn t deserve any work any respect or any trust from anyone. Please avoid this person, save yourself a lot of time and hassle or possibly worse. I actually made a police report because of the threats he made to me. He has my address now, which is very unsettling. Think twice before sending your info out before you know anything about someone. I ll point out the fact that he doesn t list his name anywhere on his website or businesses info and he has two different addresses that come up when you search his business name. Red flags

My battery light came on. I called driveway-mechanic, Walt answered and was here in no time to diagnose the problem. They got me a high quality alternator and installed it quickly and professionally!I highly recommend them and will be calling again next time I have problems with my vehicle!

I've got a Toyota Sienna that needed the passenger front axel and both front hub/wheel bearing assemblies replaced. Walt did a fantastic job. He communicated clearly and often through the whole process even texting me photos. In the end he didn't just fix the problem but also inspected fluids and codes so he could advise me on future needs. From beginning to end it was a great experience.
