Last Sunday at 4 p.m., I had a broken car at Rockaway - on vacation - 2 hrs from my home.I was on my own, feeling panicky, and a bit in shock, to be honest.I knew it was bad.Nick agreed to take a look at the car (at his garage) to determine what might be wrong, so I could find out if I could drive it home. Turned out my car would no longer move. Nick very kindly came to me and looked at the car as best he could.His comments and suggestions enabled me to make a good decision about what next steps to take. And Nick did this on his own time, out of the goodness of his heart.I would HIGHLY recommend Nick.My experience with him showed me he has a lot of integrity.If I lived near Rockaway, Nick would be my mechanic.Service: Tires

Wonderful experience! My driver side windshield wiper blew out on a rainy day. I was able to get help right away. It was a minor repair. Disappointed, disappointed, disappointed. Service would not accept diagnosis that wasn t from this shop. Charged me for his diagnosis and then 3000 dollars in repairs that did not fix or repair anything, which turned out to be something that he could not service or fix. Took my BMW to a very reputable family shop in Portland and was told that previous mechanic made mistakes and I should recover some of the money. Mechanic from family shop in Portland had their own mechanic talk to theotech and explain what they saw, theotech agreed to help with returning some part of payment due to his own mistakes. I paid another 5000 dollars in repairs, bringing total to over 8000 dollars, I tried to contact theotech. Not surprisingly I got no response. Disappointed. Deceived. Flat out lied to and then ghosted.My wife and I were taken advantage of and not one thing was corrected or repaired.I would not recommend this shop to anyone for any type of repair outside of basic maintenance that could be done at your local gas station. Saturday afternoon, my truck started running rough and my check engine light was flashing. I was in Manzanita and needed some information. Nick didn't have any repair appointments until the week, but he ran a scan and confirmed a misfire, we talked over the fix and he sent me on my way. Parts in Tillamook and a half hour of wrenching did the job. Super friendly and efficient. Glad to have him around on a weekend.

Skid plate on my Q5 fell halfway off midway between Portland and the Coast, and it was dragging on the road. Called Nick and he was able to help us with it last minute. Truly a good guy and a lifesaver while away from home !

What a fantastic experience. I had car trouble on my way to Rockaway beach Oregon I googled and found Theotech Automotive I called and Nick fit me in on a Sunday wow!! He was very professional and did not charge me for what I thought was wrong (high cost). He fixed what was really wrong. Much lower cost! He kept me informed and got approval for everything he repaired. Again fantastic experience!!!!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Oil change

Nick is great. I usually do my own maintenance, but my Xterra needed new timing chains and guides which was out of my comfort zone. Nick hadn t done this particular job before, but he was happy take it on, and did so flawlessly. There are a TON of parts that need to come off, and it s a tedious job. Everything was done exactly as it should have, and trust me when I say I looked over everything when I got it back. No leaks, which can be difficult because there are many things that need RTV and a steady hand. He nailed it. I ll be a repeat customer. My WRX needs a timing belt replaced within a couple of months, get ready for it!
