This shop came recommended by a friend Aaron Brennaman) who has used them exclusively for his BMWs. So, we gave them a shot when my daughter's 2003 BMW X3 had a failed water pump, broken serpentine belt and an oil change. They were super quick at getting me a comprehensive quote to include a lot of additional things that need to be done (eventually). They were not pushy when I declined the added services and in fact they told me exactly what needed to be done to get the car back on the road. I found their estimate text message system to be easy to understand and use. Once the work was approved they got right on it and had it done in no time. My wife and I interacted with Ryan mostly but also talked to his brother Tim. Both were super kind people who I felt had my family's best interests in mind the whole time. I highly recommend this shop. They are skilled, fair priced, efficient and honest. We will be taking the X3 in for more work shortly (unfortunately). Thanks gents!

I was beyond and over the top happy and satisfied with the prompt "under promise and over deliver" service that I received at Funkewerks! They assisted me in a way that the dealership couldn't. The dealership had my car for almost three months and didn't solve the issue. Funkewerks fixed my car in less than three days!!! I highly recommend Funkewerks!

Decent service and reasonable prices. I would have liked a better idea of why my car broke, but it would have "taken too much time." Not entirely sure it took a whole hour for my assignment either, but I paid for the full hour. Still, its obvious they are knowledgeable and good mechanics, so I will likely be back if I need work on my vehicle in the future.

Great, honest mechanics. Able to get me in quickly and fix the problem for a good price. Very helpful and honest when it comes to what really needs to be done and what can wait.Update:Still coming here a year later and still impressed with the service these guys provide. I just got my head gasket and timing belt done for a very reasonable price and in a timely manner. Communication with the shop is great, I can t recommend them enough!Services: Engine repair, Brakes

I rarely ever leave reviews but I really wanted to take the time out to give credit where credit is due. I was on a really long and painful car search after getting into a car wreck due to ice on the road. I was looking for a really safe and reliable, set-it-and-forget-it type of car for my family. I took my cars to Funkewerks for a pre and post-purchase inspection. Ryan, who has worked at Toyota a long time previously, wrote out a very extensive list of everything that I needed to get fixed. It was super super thorough. He also took the time out to research how much each repair would cost and looked at different places to find us the lowest price for each repair. He is super warm and friendly, and takes the time to listen to your needs. I would recommend Ryan in a heart beat!! If you have any doubts at all, don t, just go. You won t regret it. Btw I am a highly picky perfectionist type that researches until my eyes are spinning, so hopefully that says something ;)

Hard to find people who are knowledgeable and enjoy working on BMWs, very glad to have Funkewerks in town! We have had them do a few different repairs on many of our vehicles, they always do a thorough job, great communication and quick service. Highly recommend taking your vehicles here!

Very efficient, friendly, empathetic and thorough service! I was driving through town when my Check Engine light came on. I needed to make it up to Portland but didn't want to break down in the mountains. I was nervous about either being scammed or blown off by a mechanic. The Funkewerks gentleman who helped me was very kind and thorough. He checked out which codes had been triggered and checked under the hood. Easy fix (gas-tank cap was loose) and he reset the engine light. No charge! Which was super nice.The fella who helped me was a genuine and honest guy who knew what he was doing and was happy to ease my mind before heading into the hills. The two guys there were courteous, professional, and they did a great job on my Toyota. Plus, they charged far less than what the dealership was asking for the same service. Grade A.

Best of the Best for ~10 yrs so far!! Corey and Steven are not only great mechanics, they are decent people (just kidding, they are also great people). They are honest and reliable and I have never been gouged or misled! I never worry about sending my wife to get an estimate or have work done because I know she will get the same treatment as I do...they are some of the last honest automotive wizards.

They have earned my business... way below estimated quote, and got it done quick. I had a stripped oil drain plug, I tried everything to get it out. They got it out and even changed my oil. Top notch service. C&S Auto is the only place I will be taking my rigs from now on! Thank you guys so much, loyal customer forever... Jon

Tim and Ryan are wonderful to work with and provide exceptional service! They went above and beyond to get my car in tip-top shape. They explained to me all of my mechanical issues in an easy to understand manner, gave me repair options and and even delivered my car to my doorstep when I couldn't find a way to get to Redmond to pick it up. This is a great import auto repair shop that charges a fair price. This is my second interaction with them and I have no complaints. Pro tip though, make sure you aren't picking up your vehicle on a Friday afternoon during the summer.

I had a quick trip planned from Pdx to Redmond, and then back to Pdx that happened to coincide with the Solar Eclipse hoopla. I left Pdx late to avoid traffic and at 1am, just South of Madras my truck made a huge Bang and that was it .. Sounded like a rod blew, or a backfire - who knows? The next morning (Tues) I started calling, trying to find a repair shop I could have it towed to. But no one would help me. Most said they were too busy, or they were taking time off before eclipse, or whatever... Finally one of them gave me C&S ph# along with a positive review, but I didn t have much hope. I wasn t sure my truck (older) could be - or even would be worth repairing and I needed to get back to pdx by Fri. Ha! There wasn t a rental car, plane, bus, train or anything to be had either. I talked to Stephen at C&S - told him how desperate I was, and he explained they also were busy- he wasn t sure when he could even take a look but said he d do his best to take a look by Friday. So Friday morning he calls & I just knew he was going to tell me he didn t get a chance to look would have to postpone, yada yada. But to my total DISBELIEF he said he had looked at it, and it was fixed, ready to go and the bill was $40.00 I am still in shock! And now, 4 months later my truck hasn t missed a beat. If that doesn t say it all here I was - from out of town, I had told him I was desperate, I had no idea what could be wrong, it was the week folks were charging $10 for 50cent hamburgers Grateful doesn t even come close to covering how I feel. I m also grateful that every other shop was too busy to give me the time of day. When any of my vehicles need any work you can bet I will drive from Pdx to Redmond and I ll have the work done at C&S Auto Repair. They re STELLAR!

They just got bought out by some new guys but I tell you what they are equal and I'm almost thinking better so five stars big thumbs up if you want quality work for reasonable price.
