I went to the Bend Oregon location on Friday 3/29/2024, I bought a Diehard battery and requested to take advantage of the free testing and free installation, well they tested my old dead battery for free but then was told that for the free installation "They really don't do that".I said you have signs on the outside of the building and on the Diehard battery display stating these offers, maybe you should take down the signs......Im understanding and especially if they were busy I would totally understand but there was 3 workers , me and one other shopper who was only buying wiper blades and left.Not cool!

Guy on the phone was extremely rude from the time he picked up. Refused to clarify when i wasn t giving him the info he asked for. He just acted increasingly more rude and upset. Definitely take your business somewhere else.

My first experience with Baxter's was alright, the young man behind the counter was very nice and had no problem helping me. However this last visit today leaves a sour taste in my mouth. The older man behind the counter was rude when he asked what I needed. When I told him I needed a locking gas cap for my car, he told me that it wouldn't be found on the counters very rudely. He went and got the gas cap and told me it was going to be $13.99 like I didn't have the money or something. To top it off he didn't even ask if I needed help to make sure it was the right part, since they were closing soon. Well the part doesn't even fit and of course they are closed. Going first thing in the morning and getting a refund and going to any other auto parts store, anywhere but there.

Went in 11/02/19 looking for 2 specific items. Older Gentleman behind the counter did not acknowledge either myself or my boyfriend. When asked for a specific item the salesman all but grunted and said he only had what was on the shelves and did not move from his location behind the counter. When asked about a second item he did actually walk to a shelf and said "hmmm, we had one, most have sold it," and walked off back to his counter. He did not offer to see if it was a stock item that might be on order or offer to look into ordering it. Thank goodness there are other auto part options besides Baxter in Redmond.

Probably some of the worst service I've ever gotten. Thanks to Gorden I'm a lifetime Oreilys customer. He made it very clear my issues was an irritation to him and actually refused to help me at one point until I went back into the store and explained to him that Baxter's was the only place in town that had a Diagnostics Reader and that I needed it done and he threw a fit about it. Another customer walked in and he refused a second time to do a quick reading. So I left, and I can see from other reviews I'm not the only person that had this problem. 02/12/2016

This Baxter location is very small with limited everything including parking. They do NOT offer the tool to see what your check engine is on for so there are definitely better options in Redmond.

Went there for a quick diagnostics for my Jeep. Gordon refused to help because he was the only one working. I was the only customer inside, he could've quickly taken care of me as his only customer, but instead insisted on arguing about O'Reilly's not having their diagnostics checker and being combative. Thanks Gordon, you're a real help. Not. Never again.

This store steals your parts and wont admit it. They took a bearing I was using to find the right race worth $45 and refused to give it back saying that their inventory shows I didn't have one in the first place. I'm sure that inventories have been wrong before. Ten years in the military and two tours can confirm that. I then had to pay $25 for a taxi to go to a different parts store across town and buy another $45 bearing. That's $115 that Baxter Auto parts cost us!!!

I have visited Baxter's auto parts on several occasions they are well stocked with American and foreign auto parts as well as some basic general merchandise for vehicles
