Absolutely the worst experience I have EVER had with a body shop. Please, don't believe the fake reviews and stay clear of this place.After waiting nearly 3 months for an appointment, we dropped off our vehicle for what was supposed to be a minor repair of 2 very small rock chips in the front driver side fender and the replacement of wind guards on all the door windows. They indicated that rather than do a spot repair, they would repaint the entire fender, which I was fine with. Well, the nightmare started mere hours after dropping the vehicle off with a phone call from their rude and borderline incompetent front office worker. She claimed that she was unable to find replacement wind guards as the oem ones had been discontinued. Well, first of all, why weren't these ordered during the 3 month wait for the appointment? How do you quote something that you now claim no longer exists? Why can you not even attempt to find a reasonable substitute from the multitude of after market supplier's? The answer....."I tried." Setting that aside, it turns out the chips were within an invincishield coating. They have no one on staff to do the invincishield and prefer to wait until they have a couple jobs before calling in a 3rd party. My question is, why did you not account for this when you knew when you quoted the job, did you not account for it in your quoted 3-5 days to do the job, or did you pass this information on? So, after waiting just shy of 3 weeks and hearing a multitude of excuses, we were asked to pick the vehicle up unfinished. It seems that after I provided them with supplier's of the wind guards, they were still struggling to get them. When we picked up the vehicle, it was unwashed and dirty from sitting for weeks. But, worse than that, the clear coat had numerous bubbles in it. They had also busted the fender trim and left it dangling loose. Clearly, their foreman, Adam, has no sense of quality control and made zero effort to even make the vehicle presentable. We were furious but agreed to give the vehicle back for a day so they could replace the trim that they broke, sand, and buff the clear coat and finally order and install wind guards. This time, when we picked it up, the wind guards were installed, and the trim was replaced, but the fender was cloudy because of the sanding marks they left in it and their failure to adequately buff it. We asked that they provide a rental car and finish it properly, but they refused. They gave about 32 dollars in cash towards the original 3 weeks of rental car. We opted not to bring the vehicle back to them. During the waiting process (keep in mind, this is a daily driven vehicle), the vehicle was rear-ended. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we chose Madras Body and Glass to do that repair. Not only did they do a flawless job fixing their contracted work, but they also took it upon themselves to properly finish the fender, too, and at no charge. Speaking of charge, not only did Prineville Body & Paint do shoddy work, but they also ended up charging more than double what the original quote was. The ONLY good thing that I can say about this company is that they have Suzy. She at least was friendly, attempted to show she cared, and tried to be fair. The other employees were ALL, rude, incompetent, and clearly could care less.If you need body work done, DO NOT GO HERE!!! I will gladly tell everyone I ever come in contact with exactly how poorly this company is run. I am all about supporting local businesses, but this is one that deserves to be closed.

I must send KUDOS to Stephanie and Adam. Recently had two vehicles were repaired here, and their customer service was over the top friendly and accommodating.Always keeping me informed of the progress being made.I will return in the future of needed, but in the meantime, I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRINEVILLE BODY & PAINT to all.

They did great on the body and paint, but caused other issues. The replaced headlight is extremely dim (running, dim, and bright), they appear to be out when looking front on (even the bright). I took it back and they adjusted them and told me everything else looked good. It didnt fix the issue. They also replaced the door panel, now the window knocks when you roll it up or down. They tried telling me the knocking I was hearing was toys in the door pocket moving around! I showed them the issue when I came to pick it up, it was obviously not toys moving around. So they took the door panel off and told me it's worn parts, nothing they did.... on a newer vehicle and the least used window that never had issues before. I wish I just left the dents! If they would have just fixed the issues they caused and not tried to give excuses (horrible ones) this would have been a 5 star review.Service: Body & Trim

I dealt with Adam. I must say that out of all the other body shops I've been to this was my best experience. Not only were they concerned about the occupants well being. They were kind enough to offer to come to my residence and evaluate the damages to the vehicle. I have never had any shop offer or be willing to do this. Other shops requested I bring the vehicle in even when it wasn't drivable. I've been told to get a tow company to bring it in another 400.00 out of pocket expense. Prineville paint and body came to my residence and upon completion refused several attempts to allow me to pay for there gas, time or estimate. Then 3 days later I received a call from Adam asking me where he needed to sent the estimate. Even after the car was considered a total loss. This is a one in a million repair facility. If I ever need anything from a body shop again I have Prineville paint and body in my contacts and will call them and only them if they are extremely busy I'll wait until they can take care of my needs. They believe in doing it right the first time. All other shops always half @ss things to get a check and move on to the next victim. This has been my experience in the past. Thank you Adam for your time help and patience with explaining everything in detail to me and the follow up call. Your the best. I hope I never need your assistance but if I do you can count on me calling you and only you for my needs.

These people are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and Resourceful! They take pride in their work and their business. I'm extremely grateful and impressed with the entire process of being there! I could not recommend anyone else other than them. They even set up a car rental for you and enterprise picks you up when you drop off your vehicle. Nothing for me to do with insurance as they took care of it all for me, loved it. Zero stress experience! Thanks to the team at Prineville body and paint! Thanks so very much

Last year I pulled the tailgate off my husbands truck with the 5th wheel trailer. The sides of the truck bed were spread and the new tailgate we bought would not stay on. They put it back together, did a great job and were very reasonable. Good place to go.

This shop has always had the friendliest staff and they always do top quality work. They've invited me into the shop more than once to ask me how I wanted it and to make sure they got it right. Repairs to custom or rare work has never been a problem.
