We were asked to bring our boat in August 2023 for a possible leaking seal and alternator issue after almost a month of no communication we called and were told the part was on back order. Called two more times given the same story, it s now January and I am going to pick up our boat as there is still zero communication. Most unprofessional, poorly communicated, backwards hand shake deal shop in town. Take your business to Redmond, Bend, or Madras this guy is absolutely not worth your time

I would give a NEGATIVE 10 but i cant!!!Took my 50 hp Mercury 4 stroke to them cause alarm was sounding so knew I needed a new oil pump. Called and he said would use computer to diagnose & figure out problem. Took boat in, 3 weeks later called and said it ran for about 15 mins and wouldn't fire up again cause the powerhead was blown and ceased. I already knew what the issue was and told them to replace the pump but they insisted on running the motor which caused it to fail. Told me it will be $2500 for labor if I found a new power head (used powerheads are around 2500- 3 grand) I was and am beyond pissed with this place and by using their computer to diagnose problems they mean using their laptop and google!! Costed me $150 in labor for them to blow up my motor vs doing the repairs I requestedDONT EVER TAKE YOUR BOAT HERE!!!

I purchased a J20 truck from Nash Motors through eBay. When the vehicle arrived, the seat was not bolted down and there were no seat belts. It was missing a tailgate handle which I was assured would be on the vehicle. That was the least of my issues. The title was "branded" and I have been working to get the vehicle title salvaged so I can register it. It is now worth about half the value I purchased it for. Mr. Nash said he had no idea the title was branded although he had owned the vehicle for a couple years and driven it. He left the vehicle in the name of the previous owner and never registered it. I have been working with him to resolve the issue and he said he would send a partial refund which he has not. It has been well over three weeks. He correspondence is slow and he does not follow through.

Took my boat to have a overheating issue fixed. Called them on the phone, explained the problem and was told to bring it in. I got there with the boat and was met in the parking lot. He told me it was most likely the impeller. I told him that I had just put a new one on the day before and it didn't fix it. He tells me I most likely put it on wrong and that was the end of it. Left me hanging with nothing else said. Now I am looking for some one else to dig into it and fix it. Don't recommend wasting your time with this shop. He didn't even take the time to really look at it before he dismissed me.

This place is not just a boat shop. They do work on cars and trucks. They replaced the brakes on my Subaru for a good price!

I first met John last summer 2018 I had him work on my outdrive on my 1967 Evinrude Rogue inboard outboard with an OMC. It took him a couple months and several different outdrives to finally come up with a combination that he said was going to work. We replaced the ball gears at the same time. I was only able to use the boat one time before winter had hit and it needed to be winterized. Forward to May of 2019 ion winterize the boat and I take my family fishing on prineville reservoir we were merely cruising back from the dam to the state park and lost all propulsion. As I was being towed by a nice person that was out with their family I called John and he immediately started telling me why it wasn't his fault without even knowing exactly what had happened. I brought him the boat beginning of May it is now September the boat has been sitting there the whole time and the outdrive has been off of it sitting in John shop. he just recently separated into upper and lower pieces but has not provided the broken part that he says is broken. He's insistent that it is the water pump shaft that is broken. I have stopped in and been very patient with John because I know that my issue is small fish compared to the other things he has going on there. As of a couple weeks ago when I stopped in to see John and talk to him again about the lack of progress he keeps telling me that he is going to get the part number to me so I may help in aiding him in trying to find the appropriate parts we need to fix the boat. I am starting to get frustrated at this point it's been about 2 weeks and one phone call to remind John to get me the part number so I can go to source other places to see if I can get what I need. At this point I am very disappointed in Nash motors. John insist and tells me that the problem with the outdrive is nothing with his prior work with it but has not produced what the broken part is and seems to always have an excuse for why he hasn't made any priority on my boat. On a side note I also enlisted John to advertise my ski boat for sale last year and it was left many times with the cover off of it allowing dust from the gravel parking lot to saturate the interior of my extremely nice and original boat. also I'm not sure who was the person that turned on my bilge pump and left it on. I was unaware that I even had a dead battery and drove all the way to cove Palisades with my family to go boating to launch my boat and find out I had a completely dead battery and a dirty boat I would not recommend Nash motors at this point in my experience hopefully John can rectify the situation.
