Exceeded my expectations. Rod communicated frequently and thoroughly with photos and videos of the progress. His talented team did great work bringing my truck up to date with rust repair around the windshield, the truck bed rails, welding the cracked bed, repainted the hood and much more. Huge thanks!

Unfortunately my car was involved in a hit and run which left me with a broken control arm and subframe. I called around frantically to find a shop that would be able to see me as soon as possible. I called Westside and Rod was able to take my car the same day. Although it took longer than expected (just waiting on parts to be shipped/delivered) I got my car back and it looks even better than when I dropped it off. Not only did they fix the mechanical problems, my car was vacuumed and the body is all nice and shiny!I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a collision center. God forbid anything ever happens again I will be back.Thank you Rod and the team!

Rod is the best! Got a nasty scrape on my car and he and his team fixed it up so it looks like new. Paint is perfect and he even fixed some little issues like the lower deflector which had been ripped since I bought it.Rod is super easy to work with and will go out of his way to save you money. He worked through complications with my insurance and payment options and was really kind throughout the whole thing.Thank you!

WestSide auto body, on the NE side, treated our car and family really nicely. Took the dent out of the fender and matched the paint really nice. It took about a week, but that is expected. They communicated well, and we knew exactly what to expect. We recommend them if you need body help.

Probably don t go here.I was referred here by someone I trust, and I want also to note that it seems a lot of people have had an experience that was nothing like mine, but I think it s probably important that these reviews reflect as many people as possible, even when some skew away from the average. I truly wish I hadn t gone here, and a review like this would have saved me so much hassle.I drove my car to the shop after a bumper accident. After looking at the car and signing some papers, the owner, I presume, asked me to get him on a call with my insurance company. I asked him if that was something his office could do since I had already submitted my claim and gave them all my information, but he insisted I do it. So I sat there in the body shop for 30 minutes to hand the phone off to him when the insurance company picked it up. And look, I m not really interested in telling people how to do their jobs (says the guy writing a novel of a review), but come on. You re a body shop; you can make your calls like big kids. This continued to happen. They would request I call the insurance company and get on a 3-way call so they could have a 2-way conversation.Eventually, about a month later, I found out it was totaled, in that repairs exceeded the market value of the car. I think now is an important time to note that the car, although totaled, was cosmetically in pretty good shape. None of the lights were cracked, there was a visible dent in a metal bumper, and some scratches in the paint, but I literally drove this car to the shop myself. I had full intentions of repairing it with the insurance money.I called to schedule a pickup time, and they told me that my car was being held hostage until my insurance company paid them storage fees. That made me feel pretty queasy, knowing the shape was just withholding my car for their benefit, and I wondered if this little game was going to increase the storage fees indefinitely. The body shop was incentivized to keep the car from leaving. So rather than push the issue, I just griped to my insurance to pay something to them so that I can get my car out of that trap. Once I got the news that a payment was finally sent, I scheduled a pickup for the first thing Monday morning.When I went to pick up my car, the whole front assembly was torn off the car and stuffed in the back seat. As I said, the car ran, and I had full intentions of fixing it. I let them know I was getting it on Monday morning, and still, I received the car in worse condition than I drove it in. I had to drive home with no blinkers or bumper or grill and some wire holding some trim on. I had to take my car home from the body shop and assemble it myself. The worst part is that every panel was in worse condition than after a literal car accident.Also, this alone is not really worth a bad review, but the office has some weird, culty stuff the lobby that gave me the heebie-jeebies. To each their own, though.So yeah, don t go here. Take 10 minutes and all a couple of other shops.Service: Body & Trim

Great place for auto body work. West Side has done wonderful work on my 2015 Prius. I highly recommend them for auto body repair.

Rod was awesome! I had a difficult time looking for an auto body shop since this is my first incident in Portland. All roads that I have contacted led to his shop and I m glad! He did an amazing job repairing my paint and also detailed my car! He was very professional and gave me a quote right away during his busy schedule. Took time out to tell me what work had to be done instead of just giving me a number. He was on time with the car which was great as I was lost without it. What a great experience! Rod and his team did such an amazing job fixing up my vehicle. I was extremely nervous because I had never had work done on a vehicle before. However, Rod was very patient and extremely helpful throughout the the whole process. He helped me with work with the insurance and explained the whole process of what the repair entailed. He answered my numerous questions & kept me updated along the way. You can tell that Rod truly cares about his customers and the work that his shop does. I was very pleased with the repair job and Rod even helped with some other issues unrelated to the initial repair. 10/10.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

Rod who owns the shop is incredibly fair, incredibly capable and has a full scope understanding of vehicles where money needs to be spent and where you can try other things first.It s hard to sum up how much he helped me in a review. My whole family uses his shop, advice and help now. We all think the world of Rod and trust his critique and reasoning when it comes to vehicles with out a doubt.

I got into an accident back in May, WestSide was able to get me in almost immediately when every other shop told me July at the soonest. They weren't on Allstate's "list" but they were excellent about communicating with myself and insurance. Even in the middle of this parts shortage and crazy ship times, they got everything needed and got me back on the road within 2 weeks (there was about $6k in damage done to my front end). And the car runs better than it did pre-accident! WestSide is far from the closest shop to me and while I very much hope to never need body work done again, if I do I will make the trip to them. Rod is so helpful! I took my car to him because I had a collision with an animal covered by insurance. He took care of everything on his end when things had to be adjusted with my insurance and called to give me updates. My car was completed promptly and he was able to get dealer parts as opposed to aftermarket parts. He even saved me some money! Highly recommend!Service: Body & Trim

First time here. Recommended by my mechanic. Good experience. I needed some minor body work - I ran over a lane divider and dislodged the right front bumper corner. Rod looked it over, gave me a quote contingent on anything he might find after removing the bumper. He was able to repair on quote with great results. Good as new. Happy camper.

Brian Yates was wonderful. His work is impeccable and my car looks like new. More importantly for me, his customer service is outstanding. He communicated with me about every step of my car repair. He quickly addressed any questions and issues I had. He even went so far as to connect me with a third-party glass repair company that did some work for me at a lower cost. Brian and WestSide Auto Body & Paint has my trust, respect, and my future business.

I bring my mama-minivan to Westside Auto for all my needs. Rod & his staff have fixed my vehicle after a few minor accidents, delivering speedy & professional results. They are great people who do great work! I never worry about a thing, when my vehicle is in their hands. I had such a great experience at West Side Auto Body. I had been here before but it was years ago, and Rod still remembered me. He did an incredible job fixing my bumper and some other bodywork. He was in good communication with me the whole time and the work was done exactly on time. When I arrived to pick it up he came running out to meet me and we had a really good friendly conversation about all of the work. He even noticed that my front tire was extremely low and he was worried about it so he referred me to the tire shop across the street and they gave me a great deal. I wouldn t hesitate to go back there for any further bodywork and I will refer them to all my friends. Oh yeah, and I don t even live in Portland anymore I came all the way from Seattle to do the work there!-Kelly H

Amazing experience! Really, these guys took good care of me and my vehicle. My car was a mess when I dropped it off the work they did was pristine and they even detailed my car inside and out! Highly recommend These Guys they exceeded my expectations I would give 10 stars if I could! After having a terrible experience with my last body shop (stay away from Leifs in Tigard) I can now say I have a body shop I know and trust.

Rod Davidyan was absolutely incredible. He took excellent care of my truck after an accident and handled the insurance / adjustors with ease and professionalism. It is obvious Rod enjoys what he does and takes great pride in his work. I will recommend WestSide Auto Body to anyone I know who has a need for these services.

Really good experience. I expected a 4 week turnaround, took 5, no biggie. Rod worked well with the claims adjustor to come up with a great plan for my car. When it was finished there were a few hiccups: Molding not on properly, headlamp needed adjustment, power window not working, even my AC was out. Brought my car in and Rod fixed everything that day! He even recharged my AC (which was not part of the accident) at no cost!!!! I live around the corner in Woodlawn and recommend using Westside Auto Body. Thanks Rod and crew.

Ryan did an excellent job bluffing out my headlights. They look brand new! He even went the extra step to clean up some of the paint damage from whoever had bluffed them out before. They were very yellow, but he promised and delivered on them becoming nearly perfect after less than an hour of work. Thanks!

As always, Rod's work is impeccable. This is my third trip and as before all works and charges were explained before hand along with an itemized copy of the bill. Since the other person was at fault, Rod worked directly with the insurance company sparing me from the back and forth communication.

Honest and kind are the words I would choose to describe West Side Autobody. During the autumn, I called to find a salvage yard that had a replacement side view mirror for my daughter's 2002 car. I found the part and the salvage yard recommended Rod at West Side autobody to install it and they had the part sent there. My daughter with health issues and lots of studying did not manage to make it to Rod for many months and when I arrived probably nine months or so later, Rod was still holding the part and installed it today for a very reasonable price.

We use Westside Auto Body for our Company Vehicle body work. Rod's price is fair his work is great, and he does everything possible to get our van's back on the road again after a scrape. We will continue to use Westside Auto Body.
