UPDATE to my earlier review. Within a few weeks of picking up my RV, the same issue returned. However, Town Center made good on their warranty and replaced a bad part with a new one at no charge. It's been a few weeks and so far so good.Can't say what I think yet except they're very thorough they found many other issues that needed work besides what I brought the vehicle in for. Some things I agreed to do, others not. We'll have to wait and see if the original problem stays fixed or not.

I took my car to Town Center Automotive for the first time for a water pump replacement. They were pleasant, did an excellent job, didn't charge me any extra expenses beyond their quote, and finished it on time. I'm very satisfied with the service.

On my spouse s recommendation I tried Town Center Automotive for the paint job and car detailing of my newly acquired second-hand truck. They exceeded my expectations and it felt like a brand new vehicle instead of a second-hand one. As a plus point, their services are super affordable.

Town Center Automotive is competitive, and its prices are amazing. They are my go-to repair shop in Portland. When my truck needs an oil change or minor dents, etc. I always go to them. The team is skillful and understands the vehicles like a doctor understands the human body.

I really wanted this to be my go to repair shop, but for some reason despite the reviews they simply did not want my business. I tried to get my brakes done and was ready to commit to getting both front and rear completed that day until it came down to price.Apparently they wanted $100 for the pads and $300 to the rotors plus 1.8 hours in labor for $712. They also recommended replacing the front shocks and because there was something "special" about them they cost double the amount.Basically they were charging the maximum amount they could find for parts. I verified this with several quotes from other sources, all of them quoted under $200 for both parts plus labor.Must be nice to pick your customers and haze the rejects that don't fit in.Service: Auto brake replacement

I am very delayed writing this! But I took them my Cadillac earlier this year and I'm very impressed and appreciative. They were in communication with me the entire time and were very diligent with their follow up. The customer service was amazing. I wish I lived closer to them now so I could go there on the future too! 10/10 do recommend!

I got the AC repaired from Town Center Automotive for my Honda. It was having trouble functioning properly, but now it is cooling the interior of the car way better. They also checked other things like oil change, fuel consumption, etc. I like their concern about cars.

Town Center Automotive fixed the oil leakage in my SUV. They picked up my vehicle from my place as it wouldn t start. They didn t charge me anything extra other than the reasonably priced service they performed. They are not only great in repair, they also have great work ethics.

I needed to get tire alignment done. It was of grave importance and I wanted to get it done fast. I went to the only repair shop that could do it right and quickly, Town Center Automotive. The staff there is amazingly talented, they have skillful hands. Highly recommended.

We were on a work call between cities. The van broke down and I was clueless. My partner took us to Town Center Automotive. The service provided was impressive, and the charges were also reasonable. The work was done quickly, we were back on our trip sooner than we assumed.

Craig and Chris were very professional. Helped with my struts, shocks, brakes, rotors, caliper and oil flush. My car was screwed if I didn t change those. Going back in a few weeks to get my sway bar and absorbers put in. Very satisfied with the work this place put into my car. It was well worth every dime spent. I appreciate the efforts and dedication put in by the team of Town Center Automotive. They overhauled the brakes and transmission of my car. It was a long overdue service, and now my car cruises on the road effortlessly. They are reliable and my go-to place for all repairs.

I keep searching for a good auto repair shop for specific work. Town Center Automotive is the best one I found for all the repairs. I fully trust them for my Mercedes. The search is now over and I recommend them to my pals as well.

It was early morning. I was just leaving the house to take my son to school and then head work. I was driving down the road when my rig just quit, nothing, done. Dead on the side of the road. I am a single father and only have 1 vehicle. Had it towed to K&M where they were able to fix it and get it back to me the next day. Quick and efficient I got my keys back and was pleased that the repair cost didn't break the bank. Elias at the front desk was friendly, helpful and was great with the communication. I would highly recommend K&M to anyone for any auto repair needs and they have earned by future business.

Town Center Automotive did an amazing job with my vehicle. It is a car that holds great significance in my life, so I want to keep it up and running for as long as possible. They repaired the engine and cleaned the air conditioner as per my request.

The quality of work was good, but my car was not returned in a timely manner like I was told. I scheduled an appointment for 10am on a Monday. I needed a coolant flush and new water pump, which I was verbally told would be done by the following morning. Unfortunately I did not receive the car until Thursday at the end of day, only after I called to check the status of my vehicle. I dont care about how long it takes to fix my car, but I expect I an accurate estimate on how long I will be out of being able to commute to work.In comparison to the plethora of seedy, bottom of the barrel auto repair shops around Oregon, potentially waiting a couple extra days for good quality work at K and M is a small price to pay for the cost of doing business.

I typically take my car to Mercedes-Benz Service Center for all my smart fortwos repairs. However, the earliest appt was in July. Instead of waiting, I thought I'd take my chance on Town Center Automotive (based on the Google reviews).I contacted the shop to verify they could complete the needed repairs and how soon they could fit me in. I was thrilled when they said they could complete the job! The shop opened at 8:00 a.m., and I was there bright and early at 7:30 a.m the next day.Town Center Automotive completed a diagnostic, provided a quote, and picked up the needed parts from Mercedes-Benz Service Center. The repair was perfect, and I was out the door before 3:00 p.m. However, my review/issue is not the repair itself or how long I had to wait for a 2-hour repair (I have a lot of patience), but the issue is how much I was charged.I spoke with my daughter to let her know how things went and how blessed I was. That's when she let me know I was overcharged on parts. She called Mercedes-Benz Service Center to verify the RETAIL price, and sure enough, she was right!When I called Town Center Automotive to see why they charged me more they said weren't sure; that's the price. Town Center Automotive charged me $300 MORE than the Mercedes-Benz Service Center. I even called Mercedes-Benz Service Center myself to let them know which shop came by for parts. I verified my VIN and the part. They said the retail price is the same no matter if the shop picks it up or I do, so maybe the shop is charging more.What was Town Center Automotive reason for charging me more? They told my daughter I could've taken my car to Mercedes-Benz Service Center, but they charge more for labor. Also, if I don't like the service I can go elsewhere. I know my daughter can be protective, but who's child wouldn't want to look out for their parent?The repair is done and my car works! I just didn't understand why I was charged so much more.In the end, and after all the, "that's what they charged us," Town Center Automotive admitted they "slightly" up-charge on parts ($300 is not a slight up-charge). The extra is because of their NAPA AutoCare "peace of mind" warranty.Well, I tell you what, I don't have "peace of mind." Last I checked, I also didn't pay for/want an extended (36 months/36,000 miles) warranty. All I need is the warranty that comes with the part and labor.Definitely, not an ethical and honest shop. I guess I'll take their advice and keep my business elsewhere!

This weekend both cars we owned decided to start having problems. I looked up local mechanics and found this family owned and operated shop and decided to check them out. I am so glad that I did. I didn't have an appointment the morning I stopped in, but they were able to fit me in and take care of both my vehicles the same day! They were honest and fair when it came to the price of my new alternator and fixing one of my vehicles sensors. I believe I have come to find my new trusted mechanic in Portland!

I went to Town Center on Halsey for some long delayed repair, they were amazing.I get nervous trying a new place, but the dealership was way too much- Town Center charged me less than half the dealership quote and got it done quickly.My own experience, and from hearing them on the phone while waiting in the office, you get the sense that they are invested in getting the job done right for each customer. I really appreciated the care they give and recommend them to anyone with a car concern.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I despise giving my car for repairs. It takes a lot of effort, time, and not to mention money. I found Town Center Automotive in Portland, and my worries are no more. I give them my car and trust their recommendations. They are excellent at what they do.

BG Transmission from Town Center Automotive has benefited my car. Their lifetime warranty only adds to the pro list. They have scheduled me for a service every 100 miles, which helps maintain my vehicle and keep it in good condition.

Attempted to charge me 2k for replacing a catalytic converter, and battery, and attempted to ignore me when I asked for aftermarket parts stating "its remanufactured you won't find anything cheaper" also kept information from me that the mechanic I ended up taking my car to had to worry about, without even putting the problem in the initial costs, whether from not doing a full inspection or deciding to keep the information from me, charging me 87 dollars for the inspection alone. Find a better shop, they will gouge their prices to an exceedingly high amount (They attempted to charge me more for the installing of the catalytic converter than the catalytic itself) and a simple battery installation and rewiring cost me 900$ they also refused to do the inspection under the hood til the broken glass that they wouldn't need to touch was cleaned out, as the glass wasn't on the driver side, and attempted to charge me 300$ for detailing, scam artists and horrible people preying on those who are already having difficult times, I'd give 0 stars if it was an option, take your work elsewhere or scrap your car.

These guys are amazing! Shane was super helpful and the guys in the shop explained everything to me in a way that made perfect sense (I'm obviously not a car person). I hung out while they overlooked my Ford Focus- came back within an hour had quotes ready to go for what needed to be fixed. Their estimated time to fix the squeaky belt was an hour and then less than an hour later, belt was fixed and I was out the door! Definitely going to keep bringing my focus back. Plus online scheduling and the online portal to keep track of everything is super cool.

I have a commercial transport service; it is always hectic to get the trucks serviced. I found the most reliable service provider in Oregon. Town Center Automotive has the best mechanics and experts that provide quick and long-lasting service. I am always satisfied by the service provided.

These guys were great! After I dropped my car off Doug gave me a ride home, I thought that was pretty awesome, I have never had a shop offer to give me a ride home. They replaced my battery and even did some extra work to fix my hood (it won't open), I'm going to take that to a body shop to fix, but they were able to get it to open and shut or me, so I thought that was pretty great of them. They are really nice and honest, I will definitely take my car there for future work.

Our truck's power window wouldn't roll up. We called K & M early this morning, and they told us to bring it in and they'd take a look at it same day. They were able to fix it, as well as our unhinged door panel, all while we were at work. Window works great! Highly recommend them! Always a great experience with them!

These guys are awesome! Not only were they trustworthy and knowledgeable, Shane went out of his way to accomodate my difficult work schedule as soon as possible to complete an urgent repair for me. In addition, their estimate was lower than two other shops that I'd gone to, but once they looked at my vehicle, it turned out that the cost was actually half of what I'd thought, because I'd been told by another mechanic that my vehicle needed more work than it actually did. I will definitely be going to K & M for any future service needs, and I would recommend them to anyone! *** Also, as a side note - I worried about taking my BMW to any other place than one that specialized in German autos, but these guys knew exactly what they were doing and did a fantastic job!

Can't say enough about the fantastic job these guys did on my truck. Shane, and mechanics that worked on my vehicle� ( I wish I remembered their names to give them much deserved credit) were extremely knowledgeable about my situation-� and had the specialized extracting tools and equipment to get it done. I have a 2004 Ford F-150 which is notorious for being an absolute nightmare when putting in new spark plugs / tune up. Simple Google search will yield pages of results from other owners complaining about how they snap off & the whole process in general (Easily a two-day ordeal). My truck runs so good now - it's like new! Very happy. They also put forth extra effort with preventative measures to make the process easier next time. Additional labor hours were needed which was expected given the circumstances. Price wise - I got a fantastic deal on top of top notch work. Thank You K&M !
