I did not use this shop for my car but I was lost and stopped into the shop for help, I did not get his name but I would guess he is the owner, he checked on his computer to show me where I needed to go. He was a life saver as I was very stressed out needing to get to a medical appointment, he was calm and very clear and had a GREAT energy as a really good guy! Although I live in Salem, I would NOT hesitate to recommend this shop, I may even make a stop there for an oil change next time I am up in that area! It's great to know there are still nice decent honest people in this world, KUDOS to Master Wrench! Your kindness does not go unnoticed.Steve

I've been going to Master Wrench for several years, and a couple different cars. They are honest, and never guilt me into services. I use them for regular oil changes, and whatever else my car needs. Oh, you will surely be hearing from me you passed me off to the dirty business guy Ken at Tigard Transmission, in which means you re dirty too if you refer that place, look at Tigard transmissions reviews they ve been sued more than once. And you did a lousy job on my truck! Gave incorrect diagnosis, the engine light was probably skewed literally so many men look at the lights, the engine lights and go there and will rip you off. People don t trust all ASE mechanics also. Gave me an excuse before when I had brought my Z28CamaroRS frame so I can switch to manual years ago, you didn t even change my oil in which I had asked. Could it have been because I was a single woman without a hubcap /hubby or boyfriend with me? I think so! Also the quotes and verses you put up on your big billboard, sometimes is quite twisted sounding, misleading, and need to be changed. Don t get me wrong here. I am an original Christian.

We have been loyal customers of The Master Wrench for many years. They have always been courteous, knowledgeable, and fair. Kurt and Mark are the two I ve dealt with the most and today Kurt went above and beyond what would be expected from your average repair shop. Used vehicle inspection, they did a good inspection: had some informative feedback. Went to pick up vehicle, it had a dead battery. Not sure what to think about that.

Master Wrench is an honest and competent business who meets their estimates or even charges a little less. They are clear from the start about what is needed, how much it will cost, and how long it will take, and they are courteous throughout the process. They do not gouge women! It is a great, ethical business!!

I had mechanical issues while traveling on I 5. I was able to limp my vehicle into Wrench Masters where they promptly diagnosed a bad alternator. They ordered the part and had me back on my travels the next morning. Fair price, very friendly and professional. My alternator was starting to whine and the battery light came on. OK, no brainer that the diagnosis would be replacement but they did a precheck and told me a price to expect. Expensive but needed job with a top notch replacement alternator and new belt. The quality of the detail was wonderful. We had service done elsewhere and the clips that hold all of the plastic covering in the engine compartment were rattling around. I expected to go down to auto parts store to get more to replace them but opened the hood to find new clips and the plastic. My rattle was snug and tight! Thanks for looking out for the little details, also at no extra charge by the way.

I called in about a door issue and although they thought it was something they could fix they recommended I get it checked out by a business down the street who was more equipped for this type of issue. After I visited that shop they noticed I had a coolant dripping so I went back to Master Wrench to have them take a look. They checked it out right then and were professional and a pleasure to work with. I will be coming back for any future work and would recommend this shop to anyone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've taken my car here twice. Both times my car's check engine light was diagnosed quickly and repaired the same day for a great price. I will take my car back next time I have a problem for sure. Thanks Master Wrench!

I've been using Master Wrench for my auto service for nearly 30 years and three cars. Always friendly and caring service - they will treat you like a member of the family. There has been more than one occasion where I've come in to request a certain service on my car and they've worked out how I could save money and get a better result. With one car, they told me when it was time to quit pouring money into it and buy a new one - even though it meant they lost my business for three years (new car warranty period). I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I went in to Master Wrench to try and get my car fixed due to a faulty part. I used Handy Andy's Towing to tow my car to the shop, which included a discount. While it did take a few days for them to get to it, they kept me informed of its status throughout. The price was way below dealership cost. And the whole process was comfortable and stress free. So glad a friend recommended me to this place. And I do to.

Kurt and Master Wrench are the best. They communicated everything that was going on from the time they received my car until it was 100% fixed. Very thorough, honest, and reasonable. I will definitely bring my car back and recommend to all my friends and family.

My serpentine belt broke over the weekend and they had it fixed by Monday afternoon, fast. They were quick, polite and informative. I've dealt with poor garage service with others in the past and it's clear these guys are top-notch. I will be going back to them in the future.

The staff at The Master Wrench is terrific. I came to them needing a brake service on my car (pads, rotors and fluid). Mark and Kurt were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when it came to selecting the proper parts for my car, and also educating me on the process.I would recommend this shop to anyone needing maintenance on their car. It is so nice to have a truly neighborhood based shop to trust your car to.

Master Wrench provided excellent service to repair our 2013 Honda. They diagnosed, obtained the OEM part locally, and made the repair all in the same day. They even resolved a minor annoyance in the electrical system. In addition, they communicated very clearly without talking down to us. The repair was done not only much faster than the big Honda dealer nearby, but less expensive too. We couldn't be happier at the service we received at Master Wrench.If you want to pay extra for a team of non-mechanics swarming around you and then wait 20 minutes while they fish your car out of some nearby parking lot, go to the big dealer. If you want your car fixed promptly with no bull and don't mind paying less, go to Master Wrench.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical

Great deals! Trustworthy!! If you're looking for a mechanic that will take care of you and isn't in it just for the money, then these are your guys! They have GREAT customer service and you wont pay for something you don't need. I will always go back to The Master Wrench! The drive is worth the service every time!

Brought my car here to have a belt that was squealing badly, and eventually tore, replaced. After having the work done, the belt began squealing again, worse than before almost immediately. Due to my own busy schedule, and lack of driving often, I put the problem off with the notion of going back to let them know the problem was not fixed. Unfortunately the belt tore again before I had the chance.Brought the car back and they said they fixed it (did not charge me for it, under warranty I assume) and said they cleaned some "gunk" that had been causing the belt to slip and that was the issue.When leaving the lot, the problem returned almost comically quickly. More disappointed that the business never contacted me to do a follow up to make sure the issue was resolved.Either way, I no longer trust in their ability to diagnose the problem or their integrity as a business. Will not return and will spend my money elsewhere.

Didn t get service here but they let me use their jump box to start our car after the battery died! Very nice of them to do that

Very friendly staff. Cory helped show and explain to me about how to know when my alternator is going bad and topped off all my fluids free of charge.EDIT: They did end up diagnosing my car incorrectly. Looks like it was not an alternator problem but serpentine belt tensioner.

I would never ever take my car there again. I took my car for an inspection in the morning and by the afternoon it was still not done. I was told that they were very busy and that they could not finish it. My husband called at 1 pm and they had just started inspecting it.It is very hard to leave a car for the whole day (arranging car rides, dropping off kids, and what not) but for them not to do the job or even call us ahead of time to give us an update is unacceptable.I do not recommend this place. We will be going to MetroCare (around the corner from Master Wrench, on Capitol Hwy) who do know about customer service, responsibility, and professionalism.

I came in and told them I needed a radiator. They called me back and told me it was my upper hose.They could have put in the radiator and I would have never known. This is honesty that can't be bought at any price.BEST SHOP EVER!

Disappointing local business. More interested in the how to swindle a quick buck then providing a good service with good quality. I was charged $ 100.00 when I took my car in to find out what the funny noise was under my car. They put it up on the lift and 10 minutes later informed me someone stole the spare tire from the under carriage. That funny sound was the left over chain dangling. cha-ching~

I have taken my 03 Chevy truck in there several times for service and repair. Chuck and his crew have always been honest with what they do and fair with the price. I will continue to recommend them.

Had an electrical issue and they were the closest shop. I went in with no appointment and was fixed up and ready to go within the hour. These folks truely are masters! Thank you so much for the service you provided me and getting me back on the road so quickly!
