Stay away. They sell used cars for above market value that may have been in an accident, or have mechanical problems. They don t care, they don t check. Buyer beware. I ve noticed the owner will reply to some reviews saying they will work with the customer to try and make any faults right after purchase. That was not my experience. I purchased a vehicle from them. 4 days later, major mechanical problems. They offered no solution, and refused to take the car back. Dishonest. Dishonorable. They care about making a sale, that s it. Take this information into account before trying your luck.

I was on a trip to Vegas with my truck towing and blew a head gasket, I called Tarcus Motor Company after getting the run around by a local shop in Vegas. They were very helpful and informative over the phone which ended up saving me from spending more unnecessary money, once I was able to get the truck back locally they got me right in and fixed the head gasket issue.When they found out how I mostly use my truck for towing, they were very helpful setting me up with the necessary upgrades to help make sure this doesn't happen again while on the road.I now have it back for a tuner upgrade since I had a good first experience, they won me over on service, honest work, dependability, and time frame of completion.

First off, this is the first review I have left for anything so the fact that I m doing this shows that these guys are amazing! Sam and Victor had me in my new to me 2013 Cummins within a few hours. Last car I got from Kendal Honda and literally spent 8 hours to get a car to go home. This experience was a trillion times better than any other place and didn t mind my little 15 month old running around the waiting room! Shout out to you guys, we definitely will be back in the future!

Our experience on 10-21-23 was wonderful! My boyfriend (Cameron Carmack) financed a BMW. It was very quick and easy.The guys there were very informational and helpful. We overall enjoyed our experience and very much so recommend Tarcus Motor!

This was the best experiences I ve had buying a Truck.I was in the market for a Cummins and just about every other dealership I went to were overpriced.Finally I came across this beautiful white 2014 Ram 2500 mega cab.Great price, and 6 months later it s running strong with no issues!I ll definitely be buying my next car with them.

Went to this place looking for a new pickup that suited my needs better than my current one. Walked in and they were already ready to show and test drive the vehicle. (2008 dodge ram)They were super nice and easy to work with, very stress free, didnt pressure me into anything and when I inquired about trade ins, they offered me a decent price for my old pickup and were willing to stay late and work with me in order to send me home with my dream truck.The truck itself is nice, it could have been a little cleaner inside but I dont blame them, you cant be too nitpicky when it comes to used cars.Alltogether they were easy to work with, the vehicle is nice and up to my standards and nothing has gone wrong (so far so good). I had a very good experience and they were very helpful and answered all of my questions.Thank you pat for all of your help and the super chill atmosphere and information about the truck which ultimately sold me.

They would get zero stars but you gotta mark one to post.Sold me a car that was worthless. Had an undeclared replacement engine that was installed poorly. Didn t even get home before it threw engine warning light. Tarcus motors would not take the car back. They did give me a mere $519 for a replacement part and when that work was done the mechanic found missing engine bolts. Upon contacting Tarcus they refused any other help. Do not buy a car from them!

Nightmare experience. I was promised that the car, which my brother liked, is nice and doesn't have any problems. We were happy to get a good-looking car. After purchase, we decided to change oil in autoshop, and mechanics discovered huge hidden damages that could bring dangerous use of the car. Total unsafe! Thank God we didn't go so far! They rejected return and didn't want to change damaged parts.We checked BBB, and they already have a couple of terrible reports. We are still waiting to return the car.Please, stay a way from this place, if you don't want an unsafe car ...P.S: Autoshops made estimates to fix defects and confirmed that the only way the seller picked to fix the car (weld a crack in the transmission) is not safe. Therefore, we offered the seller to cover those expenses (5k) or accept return. They said no.

Hands down the best experience I ve had car buying, walked in said what I was after and they told me straight up we can do that. No back and forth fighting over pennies. Love my Range Rover 10/10 service and quality of car.

let me just say i ve never had such a good experience at dealerships till i came to Tarcus, i had a lot of fun purchasing the vehicle from Viktor he was super nice and helpful and made the vehicle purchase super easy, simple, and smooth. i had a check engine light come up and i messaged viktor and he instantly called me and asked me if i was okay and offered to take a look at the car this was after hours too! he kept me updated and got it sorted out quick. the car runs phenomenal and i m in love with it. once again thank you Viktor for the great experience i will definitely be buying more cars from you and tarcus motors.

Tarcus motors is not a decent dealership. I was with a friend when he was purchasing a vehicle at Tarcus motors. Viktor guaranteed the the vehicle was in ideal and pristine condition. The exterior was. But as it came to be known the vehicle has serious defects that they failed to mention. We did not have any mechanic check the vehicle during purchase as Viktor assured the church pastor that the car was in perfect condition. The sad truth is that this person would even lie to his brothers in faith, what else can I say - this person is mischievous and dishonest person.

These guys are cheats! We did a pre purchase inspection on a 3 series, it had all kinds of issues. Tarkus just reset all the service lights and said they fixed everything, they didn t.

Got my first car in my name. They were literally the best people to work with. They helped me and I felt like I didn t have to worry about being deceived because they were so honest and helpful. They were so friendly and easy to work with. Although I ve had the car for one day I ve already recommended this dealership to all my other friends. Amazing service and just the most professional people. I couldn t have done it without their help and they are the ones that made it possible to get the car I so badly wanted.

They were very easy to work with and overall the deal process from beginning to end was seamless. I traveled down from SEA to Portland to obtain the vehicle and Horatio made my short time in their lot a good experience overall. Would absolutely recommend Tarcus Motor Company.

Shady establishment purchased a car when driving home the engine seized. Having to go to small claims to get my money back. Viktor sold me a car with this car dealership on the title l tried to call and found out he s the manager of the dealership.

Had an appointment at 11am. Showed up and called the company. Was told 1 of the 2 vehicles was not there. Seems to be the theme for car companies in Portland. Make appointments and then not follow thru with the customer. Bad sign off the start with dealing with this company. Wasting customers time.

Horatio and the rest of the team were knowledgeable, friendly, laid back, trustworthy, and accommodating in our car search process. We were able to do a pre-purchase inspection, and they were super flexible with our schedule. They worked with us to make a fair deal on a great car that was a great price. We would definitely recommend them, and if we are in need of another car in the future, this is definitely a place we would look.

Excellent experience working with these guys on my recent purchase. When the first car I was going to finance with them didn't work out(due to my end) they immediately went into problem solving to get me something in my budget range and wants. Horati was available whenever I needed in my convoluted and busy work schedule. Extremely informative with no undercutting dealership tactics just straight with me.I would absolutely go to them in the future, and recommend anyone looking for a fair deal and a welcoming time to check them out.Love you guys, Can't wait to see you again.

If you look to purchase a car from these folks, I suggest taking it to get inspected. I went to get a car inspected today that I planned on purchasing from Viktor at Tarcus Motors and after less than 10 minutes, the auto shop told me that the car was not in the condition it was presented to me. The OBD-II codes had been deleted, and the shop suspected that a check engine light was being hidden. The transmission was also having issues, and the guys kept telling me it was because it was low on gas. My instinct was saying the car was in poor condition, and the shop independently collaborated that.I'm just being honest about my experience, so that others do what I did and please get used cars inspected.Nice guy, great communication, but do your homework. I decided to take my money and walk.

These guys are great. Super laid back and prices are fair. Buying process was simple and they re transparent about vehicle condition. Really haven t had a better buying experience at another dealer.
