Speedy Glass saved me a few weeks ago when I woke up at the Marriott Hotel headed to a meeting, only to find a broken back window. First lesson, don't street park overnight in lloyd district or downtown for that matter. Second lesson, there are kind people in this world - and they work at Speedy Glass. They helped me out with same day service and even gave me a ride to the office. The staff were friendly, compassionate, and efficient. Highly recommend.Service: Auto windshield repair

First of all, I just want to say that you are true to your name! Speedy indeed! Janina was most knowledgeable, personable and cheerful! I was able to get my daughters car window fixed within 24 hours of my initial inquiry. Car was broken into last night. Looked at some competitors quotes that were crazy expensive, but saw how close Speedy was so I figured I d walk in right at open. Price was super reasonable and they got it done in half the time they quoted me. Staff super friendly as well. Hopefully I won t have to do this again anytime soon, but if I do I am coming back.

Detail oriented staff and friendly desk workers. Had a replacement scheduled for this morning at a local windshield repair business but was declined upon arrival due to "rust" and it being a "liability". I called here hoping for the best and got a same day appointment and was notified there was no rust issue at all that could've interfered with the other companies installation. Thank you speedy glass for being honest and placing real world value on your customers issues.

My front drivers window was smashed in a car break-in while I was in town. They were able to get me in fast and fixed it in just a day for a great price. Got a rock to the windshield due to some dork passing in a no passing zone. Went to Speedy and they had me going in about 40 minutes. Can't see where the chip was! Got me right in, and great service.

I called them Friday and they were able to get me in on the following Monday. Job was done and the broken window cleaned up and broken glass vacuumed up. All in 1.5hr from when I dropped the car off. The team there was very professional and did a great job.

My experience was similar to the other reviews - Jason provided my quote over the phone after calling around. I gave them the make and model in the same format I would any other car repair, maintenance, or tire service. They confirmed my information and had an appointment same day. When I arrived the woman at the front was so condescending and passive aggressive to her co workers that it made me uncomfortable to be sitting in the lobby. She then informed me that I- the customer- provided the wrong information and would have to come back Monday..3 days later. The team did very fast clean up work leaving several large shards of glass. The work was completed that Monday - decent enough for the price. However, the office experience was enough to not return business or refer anyone.

Of course, car was broken into. The door frame got bent, unbeknownst to me. Well, they replaced both windows and adjusted the frame --- and pointed out the previous owner had duct tape on one broken window (that worked when I bought it). They definitely take pride in the work and everyone was super nice. Coffee was good for me! I recommend. Covered by insurance.Service: Auto power window repair

I just had a terrific experience at Speedy Glass on NE Broadway in Portland. My windshield had been smashed on Sunday morning and I needed a quick solution. I visited Speedy when they opened at 8:00 on Monday morning and they offered me an appointment to have it replaced at 11:00am the same day. Not only was my new windshield perfectly installed, but I was on my way at 1:30pm. I could scarcely believe how quick and easy Speedy Glass made this for me. I called quite a few places in the area for quotes to have my front left window replaced after having my car window smashed and broken into. I was super happy and relieved to find that they have the most affordable and reasonable price. I dropped my car off early in the morning the next day after getting a quote and was told it would take about two hours I ended up getting a call an hour later! I guess they aren t called speedyglass for nothing! Would definitely recommend to anyone I know!Services: Auto side window replacement, Glass installation, Window repair

Fixed my broken back window in about an hour and everyone I talked to was very nice. Whoever tried to break into my car also tried to Hotwire it leaving wires exposed on the steering column and breaking the windshield wiper control. The glass repair guy took it upon himself to at least get all that stuff contained back in the steering column (not repaired just secured, but I never expected them to even look at it) instead of flopping around loose while I drive, which was a lovely surprise. They also vacuumed up all the glass dust from the window shattering which I was afraid would be stuck in the floor forever. 10/10 excellent shop.Service: Auto side window replacement

Five stars for ethics. My car windshield was hit hard by a rock from a semi, and my passenger and I could see the chip in the windshield. I made an appt. with Speedy to have it fixed and, when I took the car in, they pointed out that the chip we saw had been previously repaired (before I bought the car, apparently) and that there was nothing they needed to do - no other damage apparent. They could have just as easily taken my money and pretended that the previously-repaired chip needed more repair, but instead, they washed my windshield and sent me on my way. Gotta love a business that puts ethics/honesty above easy profit.Service: Auto windshield repair

Shocking job on my repair here. This place made the minor chip on my window worse. The attendant working on it even knew the job wasn't quality as he even called the fix "ugly". Yet they still charged for a problem that didn t get fixed and have not been helpful in providing a refund for the botched job. Do not recommend this place. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to get your glasswork done.

I don't normally write reviews but their great customer service and quality work made me want to give them some praise.I had my rear window busted overnight by some vandal, so I called AAA (my insurance doesn't cover this kind of damage) and I was told I could get a discount if I got the work done and Speedy Glass. I asked them for a quote and it turns out, with my old car, the glass was pretty expensive to get from the dealership. The work itself was only $200 which actually seems pretty reasonable to me.I ended up getting a rear tailgate from a scrapped car of the same make/model with a good window and took it in. I was told it might cost an extra $100 for them to remove the glass for me. I agreed as it made more sense for professionals to handle it.Come time for my appointment, they got the glass removed, and only charged me for the window replacement. They also asked if I wanted anything from the tailgate I brought in (I actually did need a good wiper motor so they removed it for me and placed it in the back of my car). After all was said and done, they even took care of getting rid of the scrap-yard tailgate for me. The window looks good-as-new.I realized I never actually used my AAA discount but I honestly don't even care. Feels like I got a good deal anyway.Service: Auto rear window replacement

I called so many places to get my window fixed and these awesome folks were fast, courteous, and scheduled me for 3 days later (after I had been told other places I would have to wait more than 2 weeks to get my window replaced) on top of that- they got the window replaced in under 2 hours, vacuumed up the glass and cleaned up the back of my car.This was such an amazing experience Im going to tell everyone I know to go here. My windshield cracked and I went through my insurance to get it replaced. When I filled out the insurance form online I selected Speedy Glass and completed the form. One week later I hadn't heard anything back from them so I stopped by. The receptionist was able to find my request which for some reason wasn't responded to. We went through the process of making sure that the windshield was available then she said that it had to get dropped off at 8:00am on the dot and picked up at exactly 3:00pm. I told her that I drop my kids off at school and could do 8:15am and 2:30pm expecting a little bit of flexibility. None. She got visibly frustrated and it ended in a very tense interaction. I ended up taking my business somewhere else.

We were just charged $1000, yes one thousand, for 25 panes of double strength window glass!! All less than 12x12in.NEVER EVER go to Speedy for window glass, we were quoted less than $200 at Ace Hardware for the same order. Too late for us, we paid up front. No sympathy for stupid people like us.

I love this location of Speedy Glass because they stand by their work and care about their customers. I had my windshield replaced here. When something didn t set right and was causing problems, I called them back and everyone from the office staff to the management was so kind and helpful. They made sure I was satisfied and everything resolved and done properly.They are practicing an honest business and I would highly recommend them for your auto glass needs!

I was very happy with this location. My vehicle was broken into the night before. The same day I called them they were able to get a passenger window ordered and installed. The rate and cost was also reasonable. Thank you!

I don't typically write reviews, but this location is top notch. My passenger window and windshield got smashed in overnight, and on top of replacing what was stolen, I just didn't have the energy to deal with getting the glass replaced. Speedy Glass was absolutely no hassle and took the finest care of my little Toyota Yaris. I work erratic hours and wasn't able to pick it up the same day, so they secured it overnight for me and had it waiting for me the following morning. Having my window bashed out was a big bummer! But my experience at Speedy was SO easy and positive! Got same day appointment, super friendly service and had new window and glass in car cleaned out all in an hour! Will absolutely come back in future!

I went to Speedy Glass to replace my windshield after a tree branch fell on it and cracked it. The day after I picked up my car, I noticed what looked like a smudge across the windshield. Turns out there was some glass or tree debris in the wipers that wasn't properly removed and ended up creating a deep scratch across the windshield and my line of sight. They said they couldn't cover it under warranty and that I'd have to pay for a brand new windshield.Bonus: I had a dash cam on my previous windshield that they haphazardly put back on crookedly. Took me like 20 minutes to try and straighten it out...Service: Auto windshield replacement
