If you're looking for a mechanic that is knowledgeable, professional, timely, respectful, kind, and affordable - Don's your guy! Don's pre- purchase inspection was far more affordable than anyone else in town and extremely thorough. He talked me through everything without talking down to me, which I really appreciate as a female navigating vehicle stuff.After purchasing the vehicle I came across something he missed during the inspection. He got me on his calendar right away and offered to cover the cost of the labor. I've NEVER had a mechanic willing to do that. He's a legit guy and I'm super grateful to feel like I've got a reliable mechanic that will be there when I need him.I highly recommend!

On November 7, 2023, Don packed up his SUV with testing equipment and drove to a dealer to check out a used car for me. He was thorough, explained everything he found, and charged less than other mechanics offering the same service. He also had a great sense of humor and was fun to talk with. I bought the car and took notes on what sort of work it might need in the future. No regrets.

I wish that I had found Serenity Automotive Repair before letting gary's auto on NE Columbia ruin my vehicle (see my review). After garys on NE Columbia took me to the cleaners trying to fix the air conditioning, the AC compressor went out and left me stranded.I was determined to never return to that den of iniquity and started looking on google.I found Don's shop, Serenity Automotive Repair.He was able to check out my vehicle that day.Before taking it to Don's, another shop had quoted me over $300 more than what Don was able to fix it for. The other shop was also very vague on the fix for it and the pricing.Don saved me over $300 by actually fixing the problem by using a bypass pulley which was not mentioned by the other shop.I highly recommend Don for his integrity, his knowledge, and his gracious demeanor.If you've had problems finding a GOOD, HONEST mechanic look no further than Serenity Automotive Repair.

Don is an extremely knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and hardworking mechanic. He's a great communicator and always shows up on time. He has fixed several issues on my cars, including an old one, and puts in the time to figure out the best, most cost-effective, and highest quality solution to my repair needs. Knowledgeable, Professional, and Affordable! Super happy that I found Serenity Automotive. I actually own a fleet of buses in addition to my personal car. Upon first contacting Serenity, I spoke with Don who was helpful in explaining their process. To date, Don has helped with no less than a dozen repairs for me including brakes and suspension, engine repairs, electrical, and even cosmetic stuff. Each time, I have been more than completely satisfied with his quality of work, as he has stated himself that it's important for him to put in the extra effort to make sure the job is done right. He always comes through. My mechanic forever!

I had a headlight go out, and the shop up the street told me $250. They said they needed a couple hours because they had to tear my whole front end apart. I took my car to Don, and he fixed it in 15 minutes. And he didn't charge me $250. I couldn't be happier.

Don gave a fair quote and completed the complicated task efficiently + one ask him for last minute He was friendly just enough and professional, which I appreciated!( not swearing, while working! )I will be calling him for future work!

Don went out of his way to fix my AC Durring 100� weather he worked on my car and got the AC blowing cool again!
