It s always difficult to find a reliable business to take care of your car. So being new to Portland, I wanted to find a place that would not over-diagnose issues and recommend work that was not necessary. After going to a big chain that recommended extensive work at a steep price, I took my car to this family-owned, AAA-approved business to compare recommendations. Re-Born s safety inspection resulted in quite different service recs at half the cost. Not only that, but customer service here is warm and personal, communication is tech-friendly and they provide a shuttle service I thought was a thing of the past. I m a big supporter of local businesses so I m happy to share my experience with others looking for a mechanic they can trust.

I've using these folks since my very 1st car in the early 80s (Peace-it-together!). Very clean shop, exemplary service. Prices a bit higher then a chain mechanic, but you get what you pay for. I literally trust then with my life (in terms of the car I drive). Brand new models, or older ones, Re-born rocks.

I have used Reborn Auto for 25 years. They are reliable, do good work, are friendly. I feel I can trust them, and that is worth a great deal. I have recommended them to several others who seem happy with their service.

After our 2017 Ford Focus was a victim of the ice storm, Re-Born was able to diagnose the issue, offered a reasonable quote, and fixed it within 1 week. Staff was kind and professional. Would definitely recommend

My family have been customers of ReBorn since 1999 or 2000. Everyone there is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I know that when they call me to tell me what needs to be replaced on my car that the work needs to be done. Vince and Becky were fantastic and they taught Hans well. I know I m in good hands when I m at ReBorn!!

Thank you Nelson!! I got a flat tire on my Expedition had to pull over to the side of the road being a female I was determined to change the tire myself got a couple of the lug nuts off but had couple that wouldn't even budge! I needed an impact drill which I didn't have. Walked across the street to ask for help and Nelson without any hesitation save the day!! Now I will make it just in time to get my children from school!! Thank you Nelson I greatly appreciate you! I wish more ppl and auto shops were jist like you!!!!

For about 40 years, we've appreciated the excellent, honest service that Re-Born provides. On the few occasions when we had to go elsewhere, our regard for Re-Born's conscientious, high-quality work only increased.

Re-Born Automotive has demonstrated exceptional efficiency and meticulous attention to detail in their work. They even provide photographic updates throughout the repair process, which is a commendable practice. As a result of their outstanding service, I have decided to entrust them as my primary automotive repair provider.In comparison, I recently purchased a 2020 Nissan Altima SL from Lithia last year and sought inspections from both Lithia and Nissan on 122nd Avenue. Regrettably, neither establishment provided the comprehensive information and analysis that I received from Re-Born Automotive.Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Re-Born Automotive for automotive repair services.

I've been a customer for years, starting with a 1999 Toyota and now with a 2016 Toyota. I keep my cars forever and they keep them running well. I always feel I get a fair assessment of the problem and a fair rate for repair. Timely appointment, willing to handle multiple minor problems in one visit. Excellent communication about problems found and costs to repair. I ve used them on 3 different cars over 10 years with consistently excellent service.

Hans and the entire staff were very friendly and communicative every step of the way fixing my car, and they were even able to fix it for less than I was originally quoted! I never felt talked down to or brushed aside, and I will absolutely be bringing my car here for any future fixes (though I'm sure they'll all understand if I hope it's a while before I see them again)

The folks at Reborn are so kind and helpful. They work quickly and are very honest about what my car needs and doesn t. They even give me a heads up on what I might need to replace sometime in the next 6 months to a year so I can start saving money for it. Re-born auto has been taking care of my beloved Toyota SR5 pick--up truck for a couple of years. They recently completed work replacing belts, waterpump etc at a lower cost than anticipated. The truck is running great. They are always prompt, courteous and professional.

Gave a very good look over and report on maintenance that should be considered going forward on my old vehicle. Discovered an infestation of stink bugs as well and killed them and vacuumed them out and I don t believe charged me extra for that. Exceptional service.Routine oil change and inspection, and they were able to do it At a very convenient time for me. 5 stars!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I was impressed by the honest opinions and felt that I was not talked into doing unnecessary work, in fact I was reassured to wait on a very large repair that would have cost thousands. I would use this shop again when I need auto repair.

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and above all trustworthy.They will help prioritize what needs to be done to keep your car safe and on the road, as opposed to over selling what could be done just to make money. They also keep you posted on things that that need to be done on up coming visits so that you can budget appropriately for the next time.I moved an extra 30min away from their shop, and this is still the place I go. We are return customers of Re-Born and will continue to use them on all of our cars that they can service. The shop is clean, they are fast and thorough and genuinely seem to know and love their work. They do not do what is not needed and prices seem to be more than fair. I ve lived in Portland for 16 years. The shop I usually take my car to get fixed unfortunately moved out of Portland and I needed to find a new place. Re-Born is incredible and I wish I would have discovered them sooner. It s a family-run business and not only do they have a truly caring staff but they have GREAT mechanics. My car needed brake repairs and even though their schedule was already full, I have make a 600 mile journey this week and they fit me in!! Not only that but they were able to diagnose a very tricky water leak issue that my car has been struggling with. I felt like my car was fixed thoroughly and they genuinely cared about helping me. I m so impressed by the combo of high professionalism and sincerity of care.
