I recently took in my 1988 bmw M5 to Pro tek where I worked with Mike and Collin . I was very nervous when choosing what shop I wanted to work on this car as there are only a handful made and I wanted the confidence that the job would be done right . The team at pro tek nailed it , got my car out in less than a week , and the pricing was fair . Very satisfied , highly recommend.

Best shop I have ever worked with. I have had my truck in with them twice for emergency repairs after attempted theft, and they have been an absolute life saver. Colten is very responsive and understanding, always keeping me in the loop and is constantly coming up with solutions that suit my budget.I also worked with Lex who was very knowledgeable, and generous with her time. The whole team there is great, I would not recommend any other place for anyone. The team at Pro-Tek is professional, thorough, and expeditious, I am so thankful I found them.

We recently used PRO TEK Automotive to install Side Step Rails and Tow Package on our Jeep Grand Cherokee They did an excellent job from start to finish. They were timely, professional, and excellent quality of work. Colton and Mike at the front desk were great to work with. They were always available to speak with, and kept me informed on the status along the way. The shop is always clean, and the team seems to enjoy working together and interacting with clients. I truly appreciate them, and their upfront quotes as this relieves the stress and pressure when taking your car to an Automotive shop. We will be using them again with our future automotive repair and maintenance needs.

Mike and his team worked on my Dodge 1500. Exhaust manifold was making noise. He knew exactly what the issue was and gave me a quote that was right on the money. I was able to work out of his back room which had some great beverage options. The team check in on me enough to keep me in the loop but also not interrupt my work. The back shop had some very impressive classic cars that where fun to check out and take pics of.

I had a great experience at Pro-Tek Automotive! Usually I change the engine oil in my vehicle myself because I hate how shops or oil change places typically just leave a big oily mess when the oil they are draining inadvertently runs onto the underside of a your car as it s coming out of the oil pan.I d heard great things about Pro-Tek so I thought I d give them a try because at 56 years of age I ve finally figured out I don t really like the hassle of changing oil all that much lol. From the moment I arrived at the shop I was impressed - there were really nice classic cars here and there (as well as other normal cars) and the folks at the service counter were super friendly. They introduced me to the tech that would be working on my vehicle and when I explained to him my concerns for a big oily mess he told me No problem, we always clean up the underside after an oil change .The tech did a great job from start to finish, there s no oily mess and he even checked and filled some other fluid levels as well. I highly recommend Pro-Tek Automotive and am so happy to have found a shop that takes the extra time to do things right.

This place is simply amazing! Was passing through Portland on a Friday. When my car started sounding horrible from an exhaust leak. They said bring it on in and instantly found the problem and fixed the issue! I would recommend this list to anybody and everybody!

I can't speak highly enough about these guys. They got me in right away with no notice, diagnosed my car, and gave me options for the repair, all within an hour. They even recommended a reputable shop for some aftermarket goodies. I'll be back and will send my friends. 10/10 Thanks guys!

Very professional full service garage. They really took the time to do things right. Colten at the front desk was very communicative with me, and the techs clearly take the quality of work personal. I think this speaks well about how the overall operation is run. Being a mechanic is not easy, but I am grateful for their service while my baby was on the operating table.

We were driving home from Newport Or and our truck started making a weird noise. We called this place and they were able to get us right in. They diagnosed the issue, quoted us a price and a time they would be done and were 100% accurate. We appreciated you guys!!!

Before I even took my car to Protek, I already knew it was an issue with the old battery, and it could also be a problem with the fuel pump. After their diagnosis, they indeed confirmed my suspicion that it was a battery problem. They quoted me $1300, but later when I called Les Schwab for advice, they only needed $270 including installation. So, I decided not to replace the battery at Protek. They charge $165 for labor fee??? It's simply a dishonest business. They provide inaccurate quotes and charge unfairly. If you're naive and have a lot of money, then you should go there.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! I originally came in for DEQ Testing (it s free there) and mentioned to Colten I was hearing some odd noises when backing up. Colten got me in just a few days later which was impressive (I had to wait months to get into Gerber previously from having my window smashed). Pro Tek was able to diagnose and fix a super serious issue at a very reasonable price. Everyone I encountered there was good vibes and I m very happy with the quality of service. Colten and the entire crew at Protek Automotive went above and beyond to help remove a screw in one of my tires on short notice. Moreover, the customer service they provided to myself and my two little kids while we waited was much appreciated. It is actions like these that keep me coming back for my auto maintenance. I highly recommend Pro-Tek. It s hard to find a mechanic you can trust .this company is solid. I ve been using them for over 5 years and appreciate their honesty, professionalism and value. They go the extra mile for me and I feel confident the job was done correctly. They ve provided me insights as to potential future needs of my vehicles so I can budget appropriately. I highly recommend Pro-Tek for automotive maintenance and repair. Colton, who runs the front of the shop, was very responsive, and caring regarding my concerns. He worked hard and stayed on top of the situation, with an eye towards getting me the best result possible. Mike--the owner is a very good guy, and he is a thoughtful, cost conscious, very capable mechanic. These people are focused on doing right by their clients. Double thumbs up for Pro-Tek

Mike and his team are amazing! Mikewas able to fit me in the same day due to an emergency issue which I was so appreciative of. I felt so well taken care of, and the communication and transparency was impeccable. I have never been so happy about an auto shop.Laura in the office is the best too! I ve used Protek for both of our cars for a few years. I found them when looking for a place to get a DEQ test done. They were friendly, quick, and they don t charge for DEQ tests! They really do care about their customers. They ve taken pains to explain things to me, and even compromised on an issue where we disagreed. And, they do good work!Service: Auto maintenance

This is my 3rd time using Pro-Tek Automotive and all 3 experiences were very positive. We took the car in because the check engine light was on and their diagnostics showed it was the EGR valve. They replaced it for a very reasonable price. This fixed the problem. They found one other thing wrong, but there was zero pressure to get it fixed - more just an FYI. I sent my Range Rover Sport to Pro Tek last week for a detail and they did a fabulous job! I have had this truck detailed many times and Pro Tek's work was far more thorough then some of the high end detailers around town. Stopped by for a DEQ test, no charge. Aside from the DEQ fee you pay online. Asked about a brake light being on and when I could come back for an appointment about it. Mike took a look real quick and then topped me off with brake fluid for free. The service was excellent, kind, helpful. And they were working on a full restoration of a 59 Bel Air which was just gorgeous. I ll be back next week for some service maintenance on my other car and I m looking forward to another great experience. Highly recommend.

I went to protek this morning to change my key battery. What a wonderful service. Mr. Colten Andreotti took care of me and changed my battery free of cost. Very nice and kind service.

It's not often you encounter such a terrific team, and this group are truly gems. Mike and his crew have helped me keep my older vehicle in great condition. They explain clearly what they've found, what's recommended and why, and always try to keep costs down (shout out to Michael and Lauren!), They're efficient, and usually get the car back the same day. Highly recommended!

Mike, the owner, was so helpful!! I came in to ask for an auto body recommendation and instead he was able to fix my 328i on the spot, himself. He reattached my bumper after I had damaged the clips from it being forced off by my carelessness driving over a curb. Only use this business if you want leaks that were not present when you brought the car in, extra lights on the dash that were not present when you brought the car in and technicians that really struggle to understand a car. Just run the opposite direction and save yourself money and lots of headaches.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Laura and Mike are the BEST EVER !!!! BEST SHOP I have ever been to and I have been to a Lot. I Had a Crack in Top of my Radiator and it was a Small leak but I noticed it had left residue all around my Radiator. So I work by Pro Tek and decided to give them my business. I drove in this morning talked to Laura and Mike and somewhat begged for them to try and get the Radiator replaced today and they made No promises as they did have to figure out if they had all right Parts Etc. and other jobs before mine. Well I got a Call a few hours later went over everything they found and got a price to fix ( which was GREAT ) but still didn't think they could get it done by 5:00 but low and behold I got a call about 4:40 it was done I was so ESTATIC it was done same day and a Great Thank you again to Laura and Mike !!!!Service: Engine repair
