I recently visited PREracing to upgrade my 2024 Forester Wilderness. The technicians did an outstanding job on my Roof Rack + Molle panels and ladder install by Nashfabco, as well as adding their 2 inch suspension lift kit and rock sliders by Rallitek.The staff were very friendly. Jay and Edison made sure all my questions were answered and provided me with the best options available. In addition to great service, I found their pricing to be fair and transparent. My Subie is ready for adventure and I will be coming back to add more off road fun in the future. Definitely recommend their shop! Thanks guys!

Edison over at PRE Racing is a shinning example of what good customer is and should be. He helped me with all my questions and concerns beyond what I initially came into the shop for. I will absolutely and positively be returning for any further maintenance on my vehicle moving forward!!!

Guys were awesome! Took a situation that I thought was gonna cost me $5900 and were honest mechanics and found my issue and resolved it for $713. Will highly reccomend them. Great pricing and great service! Thank you again. Great technicians.

I have been using PRE for custom fabrication services and tunes for more than 10yrs. Their build quality is top notch. I have multiple high horsepower Subaru builds out on the streets tuned by Erich that have been going many years now without issue. Couldn't recommend a better performance shop in Portland to go for your car to be taken care of.

PRE Racing delivers. Had my 2012 WRX in for a 5 speed transmission rebuild. Immediate results noticed on the drive home. Additionally I had the car tuned and now it feels brand new. Big thanks to Jay and Michael for the work done.Looking forward to future modifications for fuel supply.

I recently worked with PreRacing and Ralitech to upgrade my 2019 Crosstrek suspension to the Ralitech Extreme off-road package.The crew at Preracing/Ralitech were great to to work with. Prior to the sale, they helped me to understand my installation options (my car was in Idaho), then when I decided to have PreRacing do the install- Jay quickly quoted me, and had me on the schedule for the following week.They exceeded my expectations, and completed the work early; and were super flexible about keeping the car safe until I could get to OR and pick it up.The car drives great- and can now handle whatever off-road challenge i put it through.

I just wanna say thank you and how grateful i am for Jay at PRE, he did an amazing job fixing my wrx that was a big mess and needed a ton of work. He always made sure to communicate and update me with what was going on, they got the car back to me within a reasonable time and gave me my car back better than it was before i even purchased it. I really cannot thank him enough for all that he has done and the amazing customer service he provided. Even though it was a 3 hour drive i will be taking it back to him with any issues i am having, i highly recommend them and again am very grateful for them taking the time to do the job right. :)

Had my 2006 mostly stock miata in for a tune and possibly new performance part. We looked at whats best for my budget and they set me up nicely! No pressure at all and they were very helpful considering im pretty new to cars they made everything super transparent and easy to understand! Working towards putting my car on the track and i will be returning to help get my nc there! Cheers!!

If you want to do an engine build or just need help diagnosing a problem with your care hit this shop up! Just did a forged block build with them and I'm stoked with how it turned out. Jay and Steve went above and beyond taking care of everything. The quality is bar none, couldn't be happier with everything. Super knowledgeable and patient with me as I had a lot of questions with the build as a whole. Thank you again for all the help guys!

PREracing (Rallitek) were awesome to work with for my Subaru lift kit and hitch install. Jay and Thomas were great. Very happy with my lift and will be going back for any other mods I may need.

High praises to one of the workers here at preRacing by the name of Jay. Made the tuning process easy as well as being able to answer all the questions & concerns I had. Also super helpful and gave me a run down on a Cobb accessport as it was my first time handling one. Overall 10/10 experience tuning with PreRacing.

I was in trouble with a really bad ECU set up and lack of tune and PRE went above and beyond to get me ready for my next race. Also fixed several safety issues that were discovered. I am so thankful for Erich and Jason, and the entire team at PRE! Finished first at my July 1-2, 2023 event!

These guys are the real deal. Every staff member is knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to explain the details and answer questions even though they are usually busy (highly sought after). I brought them my project Forester (Ej205 / VF48) looking for tune to optimize all my additions. The tuner was highly professional and helped me understand the process in more detail. The tuner and the rest of the staff also gave some great recommendations on next steps for the project without trying to sell me stuff. Had a chance to chat with the owner. It was clear to me where his staff gets their professional attitude and customer experience focus.I have also bought some parts from RalliTek in the past and it was cool to see the show room and some of their projects in the flesh.I could not recommend these guys enough. Customer for life! Only complaint is the mpg's they got while on the dyno ;)

Extremely professional, quick, and smart. Jason has been with me on day 1 with my current engine build. Answering hundreds of questions, over night shipping on any parts I needed while finishing the build. Also met with me on his personal day off to allow me pick up the engine (4 hour drive, hard to get there on a weekday). This is my 3rd engine this year, needless to say, I feel much more confident in this build then I ever did with the other builds. I ve had terrible experience with other performance shops around the country. This shop is a power house, has the best of the best employees. Erich is also a mastermind when it comes to tuning, and is easily the best, if not one of the best on the west coast. It s worth all your time, and any of your money to get it done correctly when it comes to wanting a fast car. After all, faster is better .

I went to pre racing for a clutch replacement on my 2006 pontiac gto. After the install the car would not shift correctly and not go into gear. I immediately took it back after they looked at it Tim told me my input shaft on the transmission was damaged. I found this unbelievable as there was no damage before. Long story short Tim and Jason said they would work with me on a rebuild I said ok. They gave me a list of parts they needed I bought them and delivered them. Not even 2k miles on my freshly built stage 2 t56 transmission and it completely grenaded. They won't admit any wrong doing and even charged me to look at there bad build once I got the car back to them. I'm out 6500 dollars and pre racing tells me tuff! I now have to get my car towed from there shop. They told me the case to the transmission was damaged and could not be rebuilt. This is also a false statement as I am having it repaired.(again)They are horrible!I would not recommend this shop to anyone nor will I ever do business with these con artists again. They told me they can rebuild it with no problem but evidence points to the fact they lied! I am greatly disappointed in the service performed and now I have to do another rebuild because they did it wrong!Do not use PRE Racing! They are not honest and will lie to your face.Take it from me I learned the hard way, not recommended at all for anything!I've reached out to the better business bureau. They have tried multiple times to contact pre racing, pre racing has chosen to ignore the better business bureau.Well it took me posting this to finally get a response (an inaccurate one) but finally responded.Be very wary about this shop! They are not honest and will lie to hide the truth. I should of known better than to trust this shop with my car, horrible owners and a lieing manager!They have "racing" in their name and say it was "racing" that caused the damage. I don't know who would spend over $6500 on a rebuild to just go trash it, I now have proof that this transmission was built incorrectly and not to standards.

Highly recommend!Trustworthy & Professional!When I was found out about my engine was failure due to bad spun bearing... I was overwhelming about it after found out about steep price for rebuilding the stock engine... But they find another way to make most affordable to replace the used engine as half price cheaper than rebuilding for whole stock engine... Even lower mileages than my currently car's mileage (50,000 mileages lower). Plus coming with 6 months warranty for anything wrong with engine which I was driving around as allowed computer have more time to reading the engine...Check Engine Light came back on because of simply sensor faulty on used engine after computer finally able to reading awhile driving longer. So they fixed it with under warranty as no charge at all for replace the faulty sensor and now this car had been LOT better to driving around without any issues.I didn't ask for it but they would even cleaning car's body to make it looking good before I came back to pick up...I'm truly appreciate for their good moral & professional job!I would definitely coming back to their shop for project my car into lift & upgrade off road accessories!

Updated: 10/27/22Went back in for ID 1050X Injectors and another tune. Tune is spot on and the Mustang seems much more responsive and just keeps pulling into the high rpm s. Came in at772 WHP / 562 TQ @ 12.5 lbs of boost.awesome job gentlemen! Thank you again The entire team at PRE has done an amazing job on this build. I highly recommend them for all your high performance needs. Just note when building these higher horsepower builds, small things will cause set backs, so be patient and PRE will make it happen. My setbacks were caused by incorrect manufacturers parts and a loose spring in the race valve. However we pushed through it and I have an amazing Mustang!Updated 3/10/22Jason, Jay, Michael, Kevin and the entire team at PRE are amazing to work with. Wealth of knowledge and very helpful with the installation of my Procharger P1-X, oil pump, oil pump gears, crank gears, and choices of pulley sizes & tuning for my 2019 Mustang GT PP1. Everything went very well and am going back for more boost and another tune. Thanks for the excellent customer service. Very satisfied!Updated! 4/15/2211 lbs of boost on a smaller pulley, w/ a new tune resulted in735 WHP / 561 TQ. Absolutely runs amazing. I am a customer for life. Amazing job gentlemen. Thank You

I cannot say enough about the positive experience I recently had at Performance Race Engineering. Everything about my experience was great, from the friendly customer service of Ben to the expert tuning done on my 2004 WRX. The showroom is a lot of fun to hang out in and the customer waiting area was very comfortable. Ben answered all of my questions and even showed me other projects they were working on. Man, these guys just love cars. I got exactly what I wanted and then some. I will definitely be back in the future for a turbo upgrade!Thanks guys! I'm having a BLAST driving my Subaru now!

The people at pre are amazing, I took my sti in to get dyno tuned and had it blow up a short time later so they got in contact with me to help they ended up going out of there why to help by coming to me and towing my car back up to their shop to diagnose what/why it failed on me the owner Jason is a very nice and caring guy and doesn t what anyone to have a bad experience with them when he came to pick up my car he walked me trough everything that could have happened and why it could have happened and then also walked me trough the steps they are going to take to find the route cause of the problem.

After upgrading some suspension parts, I took my car to Les Schwab to get an alignment and after they alighted it, the car drove so bad, I was convinced the parts must have been defective. So I took the car to PRE to get it checked out. After one of their techs (Kendall) test drove the car, he knew something was wrong; so he put the car on the alignment rack and it turns out, Les Schwab did a terrible job and they even left one of the cam-bolts loose. After PRE aligned it, I couldn t believe how much better the car drove. Huge thanks to Jay and Kevin for being able to fit me in for an alignment on such short notice and special thanks to Kendall for quickly finding the problem and aligning the car. Definitely the last time I'm getting the car aligned anywhere else.

The service at PRE is un-matched! when you first walk in you're treated like family it seems! Jay at the front helped make sure I had what I needed to get my car tuned and was able to answer all my questions! I couldn't be happier with my experience. big thanks to the awesome team they have.

Bro they are pretty dope. Jay showed excellent customer service and Philip didn't give up until he knew for sure if he could do the job or not. Turned out he could do the job. They even fixed my wiring for my underglows, as well as my cool air intake bracket just because they happened to see it needed to be done. I would highly recommend coming here when building a car!!!!Update: tried to reach them regarding a sound I had after leaving the shop. Left a voice mail and everything. This was about 2 weeks ago, less than a week after leaving the shop. No one ever called me back. Turns out, a bolt was loose and incorrectly threaded. After reconnecting it, all sound went away. So communication Took this from 5 stars to 3.

Did a great job servicing the center differential and shift linkage in my '05 Forester XT. I was pleased to meet a lot of the staff, Kevin, Konstantine, and Jason, and find a lot of overlap in their community with people I know from all over the country in various motorsports worlds. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and capable people here! My Forester is like new and they completed the job a few days sooner than expected despite it being an absolutely ravenous time of year.

Since it was new I had always felt that the handling of my 2011 Subaru Outback could be better. It felt top-heavy in corners with body roll, didn't give good road feel, and generally didn't inspire driving confidence.I was feeling a little bored with it but instead of buying a new car I investigated aftermarket suspension parts and didn't find much available for my Outback. I Googled Subaru shops in the Portland area and PREracing came up. During a phone call to PRE, Jason let me know that they could install custom-made coilovers. The installation went perfect and the vehicle handles and drives great now! I couldn't be more pleased. The were also able to perform the post-installation wheel alignment in their shop.I highly recommend PREracing :)

Out standing service from beginning to end. I dealt with Jason initially and he gave me great customer service on how long my rear diffusers on my Corvette would take to install. After which, Kevin guided the service through to completion. Mike install them perfectly and even let me take a look under the car for my very first viewing since I had it. Super job guys. Definitely coming back for my Corseca muffler and pipe order and install. PREracing 5 stars plus...thank you!
