My car had died on me last evening and I had to quickly decide where to drop my car off. I was so glad I found Portland best. They called me straight away in the morning and answered all my questions honestly and efficiently. I was so relieved that they were able to fix my car right away and I got it back that day! The prices were spot on and some parts even came with a warranty. Great customer service and honest. Glad I found my neighborhood mechanic I can go to.

As a young single woman, I ve had many negative experiences taking my car to auto shops; mainly being overcharged and pressured to agree to unnecessary services. However, I have had the complete opposite experience at Portland Best Auto Repair. Jaymes is the most trustworthy and honest car mechanic I know, and I know my car is safe with his team. From routine oil changes to major repairs, I can always rely on Jaymes to get the job done at a reasonable price. I highly recommend taking your car to Portland Best Auto Repair (NE Glisan location) for any of your car needs!

I had a great experience getting a used car inspected and after we purchased it getting some work done on it. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic in Portland!

I've used them a few times and they always do quality work. The guys running it do seem to really know what they're doing and you can tell they're passionate about cars.I've always been able to get my car in to be seen either same day or next and have the work completed quickly, but still done with care and quality. My 22 year-old Saturn now rides and drives like new. The prices have always been good too.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I can t believe how fast they were able to put in a new alternator (same day service!) and for a reasonable price. Great helpful workers that I trust.

Harley and crew are amazing! Great service and amazing repairs were done! My late husband used to do my repairs as he was a mechanic himself but he passed away in 4/2021 and I had to find a shop I could trust and Portland's Best Auto took good care of me and where very honest with me. They didn't over charge me and also there was another part that needed replaced and they kept in as part of the original service that had been done!! If you want a honest and fair mechanic and shop be sure to check these guys out

Was getting the run around from my previous mechanic. Finally decided to take my business elsewhere. I called Portland Best Auto Repair and they were able to look at my vehicle the same day. They did a thorough examination of my vehicle and fixed several things (including an oil leak that my previous mechanic couldn't figure out.) Now my car is running like when I bought it.The guys at Portland Best Auto Repair are top notch honest mechanics. They'll do right by you AND they actually want your business. Called several different auto shops after starting our car and wouldn't start. Everywhere else was booked out but I found this gem and called in for availability and they immediately said to bring our car in. Service was amazing and we were able to get in and out the same day. Our starter was replaced with a new one and we even got a great deal. Awesome service and will definitely be coming again!! Shoutout and big thanks to our service guy Harley!!

I highly recommend Portland's Best Auto Repair at NE 70th and Glisan. Those guys were helpful, friendly and honest when I pulled in with all my dashboard warning lights blaring. They quickly discovered a loose hose under the hood and reconnected it for free. I will definitely go back there for future auto repairs.

My starter went out in my car, and I contacted Kevin at this location. He not only replaced my starter, but also alerted me to an oil leaking issue and let me see up close that it was indeed leaking. He cleaned it all up and replaced a gasket. I was able to still go to work the very same day. Thank you Kevin!

Blew my water pump on 205 and these guys were super helpful. They had a tow truck come rescue me and I was rescued right away.Super fair price and customer service was top notch. Thanks guys I really appreciate everything you did for me. I will recommend this place to everyone.

I walked into the shop yesterday hoping to make arrangements to get my car fixed. The two people in the shop, the man behind the counter and a customer were discussing various cars. I stood at the counter for more than 10 minutes and I was never acknowledged in any way, not even an "I'll be with you an a minute, Ma'am". So I left.

Wowwww!!! After calling around for quotes, this shop was the most helpful. Turns out it was my starter and only took a few hours to replace and was able to pick it up same day without missing work.

Great place and great people I had a issue and they figured out the problem fast and I needed my oil done the plug was stuck and they helped me out and didn't have a problem using the oil I had
