got initial appt right away. had to return for small adjustment.site said open on saturday. they weren't & metal debris in parking area ruined my tire.next job was replacing my vandalized foldable driver mirror.first time i tried to fold it wouldn't.seemed to be wrong mirror. fellow who seems to be owner said they would make it right. calloffice manager who said they used VIN # so if it wasn't right i would have to pay for another mirror.I knew this wasn't right. checked with another shop & BBB. all said it was shop's responsibility to replace it.if they would have had me bring in they would have discovered as we accidentally did that it was just very hard to move.it is still much harder than the other side when I fold it which is almost every day on my busy downtown street.I had other jobs, like brakes, that they have missed out on since.poor business practice on part of manager.

I called Portland Auto Services yesterday in dire need to get my coolant leak fixed on my Buick Lucerne as it leaked out the other night unexpectedly. All the other places I called were booked out days and weeks. Not one shop even my typical shop said bring it in and they would squeeze me in. Claudia who runs the office said they were busy but because this was a serious issue to go ahead and bring it in. I did, and the owner Abu was able to inspect my concerns and found out it was my radiator that was supposedly changed in Sept last year. They quoted me a fair price. Higher than I had hoped but reasonable and fair. They said they could have my car ready for me today before 6 pm. They did have it completely ready for me! They showed me my radiator cap and how it looked like it had never been replaced like I was told before purchasing the vehicle. They want me to come back tomorrow to check my coolant level and come back next week and they will flush it for me again for FREE!!! Claudia was so kind every time I spoke with her over the phone and in person. She was so busy but did not have any attitude with anyone or even act stressed out. Abu and I spoke tonight some more about other services they offer and he even mentioned if I want to buy another car bring it to them for an inspection first as they do those as a courtesy. The above and beyond service here was so appreciated and not taken for granted. I totally recommend this shop!!!

I went here twice in 2 days because of a flat tire after a road trip. I first worked with Abu, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We couldn't find a hole in the tire so he filled up the tire with air and told me to return the next day if it started deflating again. It did deflate overnight so when I returned Claudia helped me again and they took the tire off and patched up the tiny hole. They were so responsive and obliging and then they refused payment. Ridiculously good service.I loved my experience here.

Excellent customer service with very knowledgeable and friendly technicians. I ve returned on three separate occasions over time for work on my vehicle. Great maintenance skills and customer service. I highly recommend them!! They replaced my engine, brakes and rotors, some electrical components, front wheel bearings and got me new tires for a great price! My family and I have gone to this mechanic shop for the past 8 years.Recently, my van was stolen and when recovered, couldn't be driven. I had it towed immediately to Portland Auto Services, where they did an inspection and stored it until the insurance company could pick it up.They do good work and have fair prices.

WHATEVER YOU DO AVOID THIS SCAM ARTIST!!!!! Abu the owner, will quote a price then double it with no receipts when you pickup your vehicle. besides the money he quoted BRAND NEW parts but when i picked up my car my parts were all used, im missing bolts & THERES MORE DAMAGE TO MY CAR THAN WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!!! witnessed them selling catalytic converter s also while on property, which was a part that he claimed i needed replaced even though i bought my car in for transmission work, coincidence? i think not, so everything was reported to BBB & portland police. Please dont make the same mistake i did & go to a PROFESSIONAL SHOP!!!!

THIS PLACE is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The police need to look into this place I went in for a tune up the main guy I think is the owner Abu called me stating the car needs to stay over night and they can get to it first thing in the morning I call around noon and they said its running weird and it needed new COILS after they did that they said my car seems to still be running bad and they needed to take my engine apart I said no I ll go else where. I got there and he said I owed him $1,500 for parts and labor i enough only paying $800 as if that s a deal not only is my car worse then it came in but he still charged me to break my car !! They really did incredible jabI have been thier to fix the timing tensioner which many other shop couldn't diagnose even Toyota dealers and they diagnosed and fixed.I can't really say enough about this shop.Thank you so much.Service: Engine repair

Horrible customer service. My friend paid to get one job done it turned into 3 different repairs. After all repairs. Initial issues still were not fixed. Would never recommend this shop or Abu the service tech. This shop is a big scam.
