Went there again today and the woman behind the counter was one of a kind she was helpful, kind, sweet, informative, nice, and seemed actually happy to.help us out! Sadly SO rare unfortunately these days to find that in a person at work I believe her name was Hailey thanks lady you did great work helping us out! Having a broken truck is always a little stressful she made it go smoothly! Give that girl a raise heck yeah We will be back cuz of her!!!Thanks Again

I am writing this for someone who went to o'reillys this morning. she had a crazy wiper blade issue and could not continue driving. the crew at o'reillys was kind, accommodating and very helpful. they got her on her way!

You ask for a wheel, you might end up with a transmission. And nobody seems to have any spark of consideration or enthusiasm about their job, so maybe hire or train people on cars and customer service better. Either way, won't be letting them waste my time any more, and I avoided paying a $300 markup by looking elsewhere and working with a local company.

Even when all thier front windows are smashed, like every other business up and down Lombard for as far as the eye can see from Portlands unstoppable Walking Dead, the crew here is still in great spirits and nothing but the best. Highly recommended.

went to auto zone first, felt like I was bothering them and they couldn't figure out what part I needed. headed here and Gary was very welcoming and came out to the car to check what I needed and we eventually figured out what it was. ended up being a simple screw replacement that they had the part for, even lent me a tool to fix it in the parking lot. thanks again Gary!

The person who helped me (I think his name was Chase? Tall with curly hair), was wonderful. He used the code reader on my check engine light, explained to me what the code meant, how urgent it was, and then recommended several mechanics for me to see about an appointment with.He was very kind, and it was actually the first time I, as a woman, walked into an auto parts store and not been condescended to or made fun of for not knowing much about cars. I really appreciated it, and will be returning for future needs.

came in on a BiCYCLE and Travis the assistant manager had good service and helped me out where I needed to find the tools I need for my Bicycle when the bike shops are closed and you need to diy oreilys got your back

I have generally had good experiences at this location, but the last two have been extremely disappointing. About two weeks ago I came in the get the code for my check engine light, I showed it to the clerk Red and she told me the part I needed and ordered from a local store and told me to pick it up in a few hours. I changed my plans because I needed to get my car fixed, when I got back to pick up the part a different clerk told me it wasn t going to fix my problem.I understand people make mistake so no big deal, I found the correct part and purchased it on Amazon.I came into the store today to again look at the code for my check engine light. They have been making customers perform the check themselves due to Covid.When I walked into the store it was empty except for the two employees and no cars in the car parking lot. I asked for the reader and was told that they no longer give it to the customer although they did it two weeks ago. Okay no big deal, I understand theft is a problem although they take your DL to use the device.He then tells me I need to wait for the third employee to come back before he can help me. The store is dead empty, the process takes 2 minutes..John refuse to leave his co worker in the store and help. I was not given an explanation on why his co-worker could not be left alone in the empty store for two minutes. Instead takes time to call his manager to confirm that customers aren t allowed to use the reader. I am so disappointed and frustrated with the level of customer service I have received and no longer will spend my money with this store.

After telling all three cashiers that I did not require help, one of them persisted to stare me down as I browsed, asked again if he could help and said...verbatim.."that's my job, young lady!", in a disciplinary tone.I'm a 37 year old woman, and likely not far from his age.I won't be going there again.

I got a battery from this place it was brand new $165.69 $169 my car wouldn't start it only was in my car for a week in cold weather and I took it back and they said it wasn't any good so they gave me my warranty replacement battery but they said I can't bring that one back again because I already got my replacement which I wasn't impressed with because it cost a lot of money and the fact that the cold weather made the battery no good the second battery I got until I got my car fixed I kept in the house until my car went to the shop and then I put it in my car and it's been working fine ever since but these people are great very nice service prices are good

I'm glad it's there. But Baxter's will always be the go-to place for me. They are great people working here. I just hate that the store reflection is the same as some folks that live around there. Love the store. Hate how some people treat the gift of having an auto parts store right down the street.

I love this place more than words can say. From my own personal experience I've found that other auto parts stores treat me like I'm a delicate female who can't do anything for my truck. O'Reilly treats me like a human being and they give me the best advice. They come out and check your engine light and don't try and sell you stuff that you don't need.Thank you for being such a wonderful store!

You know why nobody shops O'Reilly's cuz you're slower than my weed store. It ain't the counter boys, they're great, but the yesteryear parts store is over. He's supposed to get a full turn off the shelf if your average transaction is 30 minutes each. you can't get out of the store even if you are only in there for a quart of oil in less than 20 minutes. Safeway has better registers.

I ve had the abs service vehicles soon and trac off lights coming on in my Pontiac. Stopped by this oriellys to see if they could put their code reader tool on my car to maybe give me an idea of what s going on. Walked in the store no hello no nothing walked up to the counter to ask and the guy (Jon)was rude and said I m not resetting any codes. I said I didn t ask you to reset any codes. I asked you if you could hook the tool up to my car that tells what codes my car is sending out. He sighed and very rudely said I ll be out there in a minute.. Is this not part of his job? I understand not everyone is excited to be at work and people have personal issues there dealing with but they should leave that stuff at home and at least treat people with some respect. Just sayin

Oversized Ladie at counter was very rude and yelling at me to leave store because I didn't have a mask. But they would not supply one. This ladie should be fired don't shop here. They do not understand mandate laws. I will never shop at an O'Reilly ever again. I would suggest you stay away from this store. Workers will yell and scream at you.

Got a power inverter here for $64.99 and it broke less than a month later. They can not process a return since I don't have a paper receipt. You can get the same thing from Walmart for $10.....

Andrew aka Adam is your go to guy. Helpful has accurate "know how", he's knowledgeable and is resourceful when all else fails... customer service is not a quality just anyone has. Rare these days. Seems to genuinely care about what he does and helping people find what they need or just giving advice seems to fulfill a more passionate part of his life at work and home ...It's good to happen accross folks who give a damn. Customer service can be a challenge...But ppl like this guy is imagine accept that challenge willingly. As do I.

Employees have no respect for the people who have to live near the business. Burn out of the parking lot after their shifts, opening manager sits in her loud truck starting at 530 am and sits in it up to a hour.

I walked in to Oreilys to get a Serpintine belt and an air filter. I dealt with a guy named Rodger and he seemed to have a bit of an attitude. He gave me the right serpentine belt but gave me the wrong filter and had to get it exchanged. The guy today was a lot more polite and better to deal with. Rodger seems to have issues.

My 1st phone call to this store was to find a part & the gentleman named Juan helped me & assured me they had the part.I arrive at the store & another person said they didnt have it & wanted to charge me $14 per part & I needed 20!!I went to Les Schwab down the street & their price was $2.99 ...believe that..

I went to O Rileys this evening after work looking for emergency triangles that I saw online that they had 2 individual ones. But. the 5155 Lombard store only had the individual ones which were smaller and cheap looking. So I went up to the counter and spoke to Barry he clearly did not want to help me. He told me he would have to hunt and peck to find the number for said triagles that it would be quicker and cheaper for me to order them online. The fact of the matter is they are more expensive and I have to pay $10.00 for shipping. I would not recommend this store to anyone. This guy is lazy and clearly does not understand customer service.

Paul, the manager, replaced the battery on my car. Due to corrosion, it was more complicated than anticipated. He was very patient and thorough. I felt like he really went the extra mile, especially since they don't charge at all for installation.

I like O'Reilly, the usually have everything I need at reasonable prices. Their staff is also generally knowledgeable. I go here first before I hit Autozone.
