I had a fantastic experience at Marque Motors. I came in with a burnt out brake light bulb and they showed me how to replace it, which was great for me as someone who is not too confident in fixing things on my own car. They changed out all of the rear lightbulbs and I was in and out in about 15 minutes, saving me from having to drop off and pick up my car later. The cost was extremely reasonable as well and they were honest and very friendly. I'll definitely be going back to Marque Motors in the future!

Had an awesome experience with Mike, helped me out on some clarifications on my 7002 charger. Highly recommend checking these guys out, very knowledgeable & friendly. True customer service. Top service from start to finish. I live in Seattle and was interested in buying a Porsche Cayenne in Portland and found Marque Motors to help me with a buyers inspection. Tom was extremely helpful throughout the process. He took the time to explain everything to me, was honest, thorough, and gave me a full rundown on the car including photos and videos. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thanks Tom!

I regret having to write this review, but sharing my experience may help others when deciding to choose a repair shop.My 2012 VW Passat suddenly started idling rough (72K miles) and I called on 1/12 about getting my vehicle serviced the following day. They said they could get to it if I brought it in in the next morning and left it with them. I dropped it off on 1/13 at 9:30 am for them to diagnose the issue and quote any needed repairs.At 3:30 pm, the service advisor, Tim, called to ask if they could keep the vehicle over the weekend. They had apparently not had a technician available to look at the vehicle until 2 pm and said that they needed more time to diagnose the issue. I agreed to let them keep the vehicle. 30 minutes later Tim calls back and said that the technician had found several diagnostic codes that were showing errors, but needed more time to better understand the issue. He said that I could take the vehicle back for the weekend and I agreed to do so.Upon returning to pick up the vehicle Tim said that he and the tech were really perplexed as to what the issue was and said that they were trying to research it. The tech notes on the invoice state "Can replace sensors for camshaft as a first step, but stretched timing chains are a common issue with this engine. Recommend camshaft timing check."I was advised to go home and to do my own research based on the codes provided (two of which I had already determined with my own equipment). I was not provided a quote to preform any repair service at the time (Tim said he would do so first thing Monday, but did not). I was however charged for 2 hours of labor at $149 per hour and $23.84 for Shop Supplies / Environmental Fees. The total was $321.84.I was never told that I would be charged to simply diagnose the issue prior to any repairs being preformed on an hourly rate in advance. Nor was I advised that I would be charged for supplies to do so. I was simply trying to get my vehicle repaired.I am disputing this charge on my credit card and will be finding a different shop to service my vehicle.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys were wonderful! I just dropped in today for my DEQ inspection. they were so friendly, got me right in and it was all taken care of in <10 minutes (better than going to the DMV that's for sure!). I don't have a German car and so probably won't need their other services and yet they were so happy to help. If I do get a German care in the future I know where I will take it!

Went in to get my car DEQ tested as they were close and didnt want to charge an arm and a leg. I know for a fact that after today if i ever own an Audi or German made vehicle, I am bringing it to them!Thank you Marque Motors for the great customer service, also they have a adorable friendly dog, maybe you'll get greeted with some fur.

If you are sick of waiting in lines at the DEQ stations- go straight to Marque Motors - they are part of the DEQ too! I was in and out in 5 minutes. The staff are fast and friendly.Also gave me step-by-step instructions on how to complete my online car registration.Thank you so much for the great service. These guys are great! Super friendly--- and sped my car through the DEQ Too emission test method. It sure beats driving out to DEQ and sitting in line forever! Added bonus: very distinguished shop-dog Niko.Highly recommend!

Quick and Courteous, what more can you ask for when you need a DEQ Emissions Test? I will return to Marque Motors at renewal because the people were kind and honest, but mostly to pet the beautiful schnauzer Nico, what a handsome boy!

I took my car here for the DEQ certification. They were extremely efficient, quick and very helpful-even providing step-by-step guide for the on-line renewal process. Makes me wish I had a Porsche or Audi to bring to them for upkeep!! Highly recommend!!

Went to the shop for a DEQ certification. They were fast, friendly, and did the test for no charge. Said they do it for free as a service for their customers, even though I have a Subaru and they don't service Subaru's. Almost makes we want to go buy and Audi or Porsche so I can be a customer here.

Great experience to get my DEQ testing complete. They were quick and gave a helpful sheet to walk me through the online portion of the process. Will pass along this shop name to others and consider it for our Volkswagen .THANKS!.

These folks are great! Found them on the DMV's website as a place to go in lieu of the DEQ. Searched other locations but this one only charged $10 for DEQ testing whereas the others were charging 20-40. I showed up and was greeted by an apprehensive looking but ultimately attentive shop dog that kept me busy during the ensuing 90 second wait. A friendly gentleman noticed the paperwork in my hand and intuited the reason for my visit. He asked for my keys and we went to the car. I thanked him for being cheaper than the competition by $10 and he looked at me inquisitively. I told him the website said he charged $10 and he waived this off, saying he didn't charge anything. What a pleasant surprise. If I ever win the lottery and buy an Audi, I'll take it here to get serviced for sure ;-)

A very friendly, customer oriented place.They did aDEQ check for me very quickly at no kick up from just going to a DVM sponsored test facility.I would take my car there for service based on what I experienced but mine is a Toyota and they only service most German cars. So I recommended trying them if you have German Iron. That said this is only based on their attitude since I did not actual have any repairs done.

Marque Motors was recommended to me by several of my 'German Sport car owning' friends. Kurt was very generous with his time to help me understand the differences of the cars that I am researching to purchase (Porsche vs. Audi). He gave me some excellent pointers that I would not have thought about before pursuing a purchase. I will definitely bring the car to Marque for a full pre-purchase inspection when I identify it, and any service and repairs as well. I believe they are an excellent resource!

Marque Motors was recommended to me about 10 years ago. Nothing but the highest praise was commented about his business. I have owned several Porsches and I would not trust anyone else with these vehicles.The quality of his work is excellent and prices are extremely fair.

I stopped by for DEQ Too test and it was extremely quick and easy... as in the whole thing took less than 5 minutes. From the time I left the house until I got back home was less than 15 minutes. If it were possible to rate higher than 5 stars, the service deserves it.

Marque Motors is awesome! I was in & out within 5 minutes to get my DEQ2 emissions test! If I had known it was so easy, I would have gone in sooner! Thanks, guys!

Feel very fortunate to have tried these guys out. I was apprehensive going into it as I had been using the same shop for quite a while but had moved away from that area of town(also, I am a little obsessive about my car). It worked out really well, Tom and Chris were very knowledgeable, they even solved a problem my other shop had not been able to!I would definitely recommend these guys, especially if you own an e39 M5

I was recommended Marque Motors for a pre-purchase inspection on a Porsche Boxster in Portland. I don't live in the area and hadn't actually seen the car myself, so the inspection was really important to me.Kurt was great and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed purchase, taking time to explain the report details over the phone and answering any questions I had. The inspection also cost me less than I was originally quoted which was nice!If I was anywhere near the area, I'd definitely be going back to Marque Motors for any work my car might need in the future.

Very nice shop located in beautiful southwest portland. That office manager was very nice when I went in to get my DEQtoo check done. I felt very comfortable giving her the keys and was in and out within 10minutes. She even had a prepared step by step incstruction handout on the next steps. Would definitely go back here if I had to do it again.

Got my DEQ test within minutes. No lines, no long drives to DEQ station (with crowded streets and bridges to cross). Very helpful and friendly staff. Great resource for those of us living on the west side of town. Plus, no fee for this service. Thanks!

Marque Motors is a super easy place to get your newer vehicle DEQ tested through the new DEQtoo program for vehicle registration renewal. Took mere minutes to do - no waiting at a DEQ test center. Yay. Thanks so much to Marque Motors!

I went here for DEQ too! services only because they were close. Boy was I happy with the service. I didn't need an appointment. It seemed a little busy when I walked in but I was greeted immediately and then they took care of everything for me. I barely had time to open my email on my phone! They walked me through what I have to do from here to get my stickers. All in all an incredible service and so much better than driving across town to sit ina long line.

Professional, fast, and friendly service. Was in and out in under 5 minutes for a DEQ test. I do not have a german car to take to them for service, but if i did they would be the place I would go! Shop dog Nico was there to greet at the door.

I can't speak to any repair work, but if you need emissions testing for the DMV, I recommend stopping here. They were fast, courteous, and didn't even charge me (other places may charge a fee). I will definitely be back.
