Ordering my 24 Defender 110 was such a great experience. From the time we first spoke with Sal months prior, to delivery, we were listened to, and made to feel like we were valued. The building and delivery was seamless, with no surprises! It even came in a few weeks before the initial expected date.I ve had my Defender for a week today, and it s the best vehicle I ve ever owned even better than my 14 LR4! I completely recommend Land Rover Portland and Sal for your Rover needs!!!!!!

We had an excellent experience buying a Discovery Sport with help from Sal Afzal. He spent a lot of time going over all of the features before we left the establishment. I really like that their sales people are salaried and do not work on commission, so there is no pressure. Also the price is the price, no haggling. Wonderful experience to buy from them. The showroom is stunningly beautiful and worth going to see even if you just want to look at Land Rovers and Jaguars.

Love the service team here. Randy helps me maintain my cars and is always so great about explaining what needs to be done. He goes above and beyond and even stayed after closing once when my meeting ran late so that I could drop off. It's the little things that make a world of difference. We were excited to pick up the car we had been dreaming about only to be let down by the dealership and their mistake-prone and lying service department. They are extremely unprofessional and deflect blame on their clients rather than take responsibility for their own mistakes.

JLR in PDX is a fantastic dealership. The best all time path to purchase journey. Highly recommend Damon Wright as your product guide as well as Brandon Maggs who is the service guru.The Defender 110 is the bomb!

Do yourself a favor, don't buy from this dealer and certainly don't buy a Land Rover. When inventory was tight,(pandemic) we had to buy our Rover from Tacoma Land Rover when this dealer could not get inventory. Well, they never let you forget. Car needs service, go to the back of the line. Need a loaner during service, not at this "luxury" dealer. Need warranty work, their scheduling in the shop is so bad, you get..."we need the car for two weeks and we will try and fit you in". Well you know what, F Land Rover, I sold the Defender and purchased a much better Grand Cherokee Summit. It drives better, more luxurious, and they actually take care of their customers. By Land Rover, Never Again.

Awesome service experienceI was en route to California and my 2024 Rover Sport broke down. I was able to drive it to LR of Portland on a so called Limp Mode.Norma was God sent. She put an emergency request with her team to have my Rover looked at.I was back on the road within 3 hrs.A 2024 Rover with less than a thousand miles broke down...Thank you Norma. These guys don't care about their customers and make no effort to combat their poor policies regarding their defective vehicles. I bought my wife a 2022 Land Rover with 9k miles on it. Though I am the second owner it came from this dealer. Her Defender's power steering went out one day after we pick it up for another mechanical.It is now virtually paperweight in their shop for 2 months. That's not even the reason for this review. The fact that I was told since we are not the ones that directly purchased this from their location then we don't qualify for a loaner vehicle is absurd. I was then offered to call the customer relations department and their answer was to pay for a rental and submit a receipt 2 months or more later ND maybe it would be reimbursed. No process to know if I'd be reimbursed up front. Needless to say unless you have 3 vehicles and don't need this one other than to drive and look pretty I would stay away. In 42 years this is my first bad car review. What does that tell you....

My wife and I had a great experience with the purchase of our Defender 130 from Land Rover Portland. Specifically Damon was great and so helpful making sure we were made comfortable and pushing our deal along since we travelled from out of town to purchase. Land Rover of Portland service department are completely incompetent when dealing with diagnosing and completing repairs on Diesel Exhaust issues. Unfortunately due to the Monopoly Land Rover has you can not find a mechanic outside of their service department to work on the newer systems and when challenged the service department team tries to find excuses as to why they didn t fix the car. I give them zero stars and warn all customers/consumers to never use them as they will steal your money and never fix your vehicle.

Absolutely horrible service. I have the new 2023 Range Rover HSE. It broke down on my Thanksgiving trip, with family and dogs on it. Had to have it towed to Portland LR 110 miles away the day before Thanksgiving. Ruined our vacation where we had to mad scramble our own transportation. Portland LR claimed to fix it. They Transported back to LA where upon arrival the LR Pasadena dealership service test drove it and found it was never fixed. I highly recommend to stay away from the new vehicle. No one seems to know what is wrong with these new models from breaking down. I have been without my car for 30 days and they still don t know how to fix it as corporate Land Rover service techs are unable to provide proper instructions on how to fix it. Mine is not only car doing it. I think they have a massive recall on their hands that makes these cars lose ability to move altogether. Most expensive car I have owned and the most trouble I have had with a vehicle. Any other RR owners out there beware. I still don t have my car and no time table as to when I get it.

Upon picking up our Defender from service yesterday to fix issues that their detailing team caused, their assistant service director, Brandon, was very arrogant from the moment we arrived and short with my wife and I. He even told us to leave the dealership and relayed his disappointment with us having left a previous negative review in his name. We ve had issues from the start with Brandon not taking responsibility for the service department s mistakes and insinuating we may have caused issues they clearly caused. It s unprofessional not to owe up to your mistakes. After all the issues we had with service performed to our new car, we re the ones that have a right to be frustrated having had spent so much time convincing JLR to fix their service mistakes and time lost having our car in for service multiple times, and we just purchased the car from them in July 2023.

The service department is a joke. They had my range rover 30 days and could not figure out what was wrong. When they told me it was done. It still has warning lights. I would not recommend range rover. I took it straight over ford and exchanged it for a bronco. So I never have to deal with this service department again. So done.KT

I worked with Damon at Range Rover for over a year to find the perfect car. He was very patient and made sure I got the exact car I wanted. He was very helpful throughout the entire process if you re going to work with anybody at this dealership make sure you ask for Damon. He is fantastic. I have been driving my car for over a week now and love it.

We have had several horrible experiences here. One problem is they are the only Land Rover dealership within 4 hours of us. But we are seriously considering driving to Spokane or Tacoma. The people are never friendly and it seems like you are always a bother.

Damon Wright - Effortless Experience!! Before purchasing my new 2019 Land Rover, Range Rover Sport HSE from Damon, I had been actively researching the different Range Rover models and trims for well over a year. I was looking to upgrade my 2015 Land Rover, LR2 HSE and narrowed my search to the LR RR Sport HSE, 2018 or newer.With my mind made up on model and range of years, it was time to take a test drive. So, over the Labor Day weekend, I went back to Land Rover of Portland - where for years, they provided me with excellent service and maintenance with my LR2 - and test drove a 2019 LR RR Sport HSE. This RR Sport was fully loaded and equipped with additional upgrades and features, making it an extremely convenient and comfortable ride, but the 22 tires and black, spider-like wheels and Blue metallic exterior, made it unique and cool to look at!!After my test drive, I went back home and narrowed my list down to two LR RR Sports to purchase, which now included the blue number I just test drove in. Because of the holiday weekend, my purchase would have to wait until Tuesday.When Tuesday arrived, I contacted the dealership, who in turn, connected me with Damon. Damon was with a customer already, so he couldn t really converse over the phone; instead, he messaged me the information needed to begin processing my application, which made this purchase so easy and effortless. By the time I arrived at the dealership, my terms for my new vehicle and trade in had already been established. And within an hour of my arrival at the dealership, finished my terms, signed my deal and was handed the key fab to 2019 LR RR Sport. One note to add, despite Damon having a prior engagement and needing to leave early that day, he stayed with me through the entire process, including reviewing how to operate all the functions and features with, so that I could begin to familiarize myself and customize my new LR RR Sport for the journey home.Damon thank you for taking the time to make the expereince and purchase of my new LR RR Sport effortless!! There isn't a low enough star level. This dealership lies and literally ruined my 2018 Jaguar F-Pace. After being there for an hour for their diagnosis as to why my low fluid light was on they forgot to put the radiator cap back tightly and 8 miles away on the freeway my car overheated and literally burnt up. I called them to get a ride back to their Washington Square site and they said well you have to call AAA for a tow. I said are you kidding me? I JUST left your shop and you won't help me off the side of the freeway??? It was awful!!! I had to buy AAA right there and get it back to the shop. They said they would do a "full" diagnosis for a $399 oil change first. We said no. We contacted the manager of the dealership. He said it was not their fault and if I didn't get it picked up and towed away they would charge me rent. I was shocked!! Called Jaguar corporate. They wouldn't help either! We got it towed to a reputable Jaguar repair shop in Vancouver who said the engine was blown due to their carelessness and they have tons of people that come to them after this shop screws up their vehicles. They were not shocked at all Price for a new motor was going to be over 25K. So now it sits in my driveway and we are finding a lawyer to help us sue those liars!!!!! do NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! Save yourself! They had the nerve to tell my insurance co that I didn't properly maintain the car and this is why this happened. Well sorry but we just had the oil changed by Jiffy Lube months prior and always do our own maintenance. They just wanted to find something to say These people are truly lying crooks. Then they said they have a video camera in their bays and would show us. They never did show us and when the investigator asked they lied again and said they only have cameras of me leaving. They lie and they ruined my car. The car before this I bought there too-A 2019 Discovery and they do not care about repeat customers eithers!A lawsuit is pending! They never said the car was unsafe to drive away ever!!!

Lied to me about how long a warranty repair would take. Left me sitting I'm the lobby for 5 hours. Offered a 15 minute car wash, since I already missed all of my other appointments for the day I said sure, an hour later still waiting on my car..this is exactly why I never come to the dealership....honestly in disbelief right now. I would give one star but the service coordinator Nathan was very polite and helpful. I know it's not his fault, but still guys gotta do better.

We just bought a certified pre-owned from Damon and the experience was a delight from beginning to end. I accidentally showed up an hour early for my appointment and he fit me in and made the buying process extremely easy-kept me informed of everything step by step and made it very low stress. I would absolutely return to this dealership and would recommend Damon to anyone looking for a car. He also has a very stylish coat.
