I just had over $4000 worth of work done on my jeep. These guys were amazing. They called me, kept me informed, showed me parts prices online to explain costs. I'd had 3 quotes and they came in the lowest. I highly recommend.

They replaced the radiator on my volvo. It wasn't easy considering the way my motor is designed and situated. It's running excellent now, and it cost $100 less than their initial quote. Nice guys, nice shop. Clean and professional. Quick service. I didn't feel bamboozled nor taken advantage of being that I'm a woman who doesn't know a whole lot about cars. I will be going back for my regular tune-ups. I'm very pleased.

went in for an alignment and was told the part we needed for an alignment was broken and they couldn t adjust do to the alignment but for some reason they stand by the fact i should be charged for an alignment they also failed to mentioned they couldn t complete the alignment or that we had a broken part at pick up. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I have been bringing my Kia here since 2016. Originally, I gave them a try, because its in my neighborhood. I spent a good chunk of change here, because its a priority for me to keep up on maintenance schedules and repairing little things before they become big problems. I want to keep my car as long as possible, because looking for a new car is a P.I.T.A.Thanks to them, I feel confident my car is in good operating condition for travel and work trips.I know people get worried about being charged for unnecessary repairs for things they don't understand or can't see. So- I love learning about my car, and research things before I go to the mechanic.And I always feel like their diagnostic assessments are in line with the range of possibilities I researched (by reading and getting under my car or under the hood to look around) and they let me know if something is a smaller issue then previously guessed.I chose to write this review after I had a concern, and they helped me confirm there was no issue a few days ago and I appreciate the time everyone took to look into it. Thank you!

Recently moved her and had to get some work done on my car before I could go about getting it registered - after extensive searching I decided on K + M and they did NOT disappoint. They were friendly, quick & efficient and most of all TRANSPARENT & honest. I'm so glad I have found my go-to spot anytime I need anything done, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Was quoted 6,500 from Portland Toyota on what they said was a timing cover gasket failure causing an oil leak. This shop took the time to run a THOROUGH AND PROPER diagnostic to determine using dyes and cleaning the area and found that the leak was in fact NOT the timing cover, and would only cost 530.00 to repair!!Turned my vehicle around quickly as well!The staff here are also polite, informative, and they clearly care about the presentation of their shop.Needless to say, I will never go anywhere else for my auto needs, and would never risk going anywhere else!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

No work ethics!If some parts were damaged by you while fixing a car, we should be notified. Nobody in your shop told us about it.We found it out due to some rattlings from the engine.It was fixed without any charges by you when we brought it back to you, butWe felt that there was no work ethics. We will never take our cars there.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Recommended by 2-3 coworkers. Relatively easy to schedule in terms of availability. Fair price in my opinion, work done here so far are oil change and vapor canister replacement.

I ve taken my vehicle(s) in for service at K and M a few times over the years and have always been completely satisfied with the quality of repairs. Likewise, costs, to include parts and labor, have been reasonable and comparable. Customer service staff have also always been consistently thorough, professional, and courteous. One item of note: I would, however, encourage K and M, and other auto body providers as well, to improve the estimate completion timelines they provide customers. A few weeks ago, I brought my car in because my right front and right rear doors were registering as "door ajar" frequently, when they weren't ajar. A long while ago I had intentionally unplugged the rear right door system because while I was driving, my car would beep incessantly to alert me that the door was ajar, and this was the worst culprit of the two doors.My intention with bringing my car in the first time was that BOTH units would be replaced. However, it turns out they had only plugged the rear right door unit BACK IN without AT LEAST CALLING and asking why it was unplugged in the first place. So naturally, it starts beeping again and I have to bring it back in.I brought it back in and had to go another WEEK without a car, this time it was the week of my birthday, which was Thursday. I shared that info when I dropped it off on Monday. Logan, who helps work the desk, was aware of my previous repair and I guess didn't open a "ticket" so they have no record of my second visit. This means they didn't charge me for the $300 part. I went to pick up my car on Friday, which Logan has off apparently for his own birthday (happy birthday! thank you!).As I'm trying to pick it up, they have no record of my repair, the boss comes in flipping out about giving away $300 parts and said he wouldn't have charged me for labor, but would have charged me for the part, but since there's no record of the repair it's out of his hands I guess. (Sorry Logan, hope you don't get into too much trouble...)The boss then tries to mansplain to me that you "can't just unplug the door sensor" because then the car alarm will go off randomly. But the car alarm was already going off randomly before I unplugged it, and I can manage that just fine by simply not locking my car (I work in a safe enough area where I'm fine leaving my car unlocked, and I park my car in our garage at home. The car does okay being locked for a few hours, so locking it during errands is fine). My problem was the incessant beeping while I was trying to drive, which was mostly remedied by unplugging the unit - which should have been replaced the first time I brought it in!So anyway, they need better communication systems all around and the boss is a bit of a jerk. Everyone else seems awesome though.

Found K & M randomly when looking for a mechanic to perform a pre-purchase inspection on a used car we are looking to buy. Logan was very helpful and professional when making the appointment. When I brought the car in, they were super accommodating to get it in while I waited and very thorough and complete in their inspection. I really appreciated them and their excellent service. If I lived closer they would be my go-to shop. I highly recommend them.

We've been going to K and M for a couple of years now, and for the simple stuff like oil changes they do a good job, but I cant trust them for a diagnostic any more. We started noticing some shaking in our car while driving between 55-63 mph. We took it into K & M and spent $100 for diagnostic. They said it was the tire problem. So we took the car back to Costco where we bought the tires not too long ago. Costco checked for both the tires and wheels there and they said neither were the problem. Wasted us an entire day of running around. We took the car back to K and M for another look on a different day. This time, they took the car for a whole day and concluded it was a problem with the transmission.My wife and I were just about to give up because the repair cost for transmission would not have been worth the older car. Fortunately though, I have a friend that knows a bit about cars and told me it shouldn't be the transmission and to take the car to his mechanic. This other place took only a couple of hours and identified that the problem was with the axel. They fixed it, and now the car is running smoother than ever.Basically, K and M wasted 2 whole days for us, $100 later and didnt come up with the right diagnosis. The other place took the car for 2 hours to identify the problem and charged for only $55 for diagnostic (they did not charge me anything because we did the repair there) and 2 more hours to fix the problem.

Guys working are very friendly and helpful. They helped with a couple minor issues and an oil change. Charged me significantly less than another shop was trying to charge. Honest dudes!! Thanks!!!!

With 4.5 stars and seeing the owner actually responds to reviews was enough for me to take my 4x4 truck there for an alignment. The staff was friendly and my truck drove nice home. Looking forward to getting it on the highway next. The mechanics even checked out my truck and warned me of somethings I was unaware of. One that could have cost some serious damage to my truck. I was very surprised. I never figured them to check things over for an alignment. It wasn't like it was motor work or something. They already had a repeat customer with me by taking the time to respond to reviews and doing good work at a fair price, but leaving with my expectations succeeded has sealed it in stone!

I recently got my car engine looked at and don't get me wrong, did a wonderful job, however they kept telling me different times to pick up my car. It kept getting later and later then the next day. Also, I got a quote to see what needs fixed and their prices are insane! Almost $400 for transmission flush and I got one around the corner for $189. Like whoa. But hey they are just trying to make a living. Wound up spending about $400 for them to fix a oil leak!

I called on Tuesday and spoke with Logan. Since I was pressed for time, he told me to bring it in on Thursday. When I brought it in shortly after 8:00am, I had to remind Logan the whole story. He wrote nothing down from my phone. No appointment made from Tuesday even after taking his advice to bring it in on a later date.. I took off work for them to work on it today, Thursday.I called after seven hours to check to see if they had looked at the car. He said he was writing it up. Writing what up? My bill? A quote? He said he would call me back in 15 minutes with a quote.One half hour later, after I had waited eight hours for them to even look at my vehicle, he called to give me a quote. When they called to quote me, they wanted almost $900 for extra services I never wanted, that did not have anything to do with my intent for bringing it in the first place. Total disregard for my initial request. I had already told him I did not want to invest that type of money when I brought it in. When I reminded him what specifically I wanted completed, they also said they could not do the work today. He told me, "Well I am not going to hold your car hostage..."I lost money by not going to work, was waiting for further expense for the work that was to be completed on my car. Still no service performed. I learned my lesson. Never again. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

My experience at K&M was great. Yes it was spendy but its a locally owned mom and pop shop with local guys supporting their family's. Its important to support local businesses especially in our crazy covid world. And lets keep it real; You pay for what you get!The staff treated me well, esp Logan and Marshall(extremely helpful and fast with my requests anytime i called). As a woman I've dealt with mechanics that use my lack of knowledge to rip me off and/or talk down to me. I felt respected by the staff and would recommend the top notch service and will be a return customer when needed. The repairs took longer than anticipated but i would prefer the repairs done right as opposed to done fast.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I've taken two vehicles in for different services, once I needed to make payments on my repairs. Had no pressure on paying in a certain time periods. I've always and still do references friends to take their vehicles there when you need good, honest advice and help.

These guys are honest and there workmanship is top notch! They are up front with you on what your cost for repairs will be! So there's non of the old oh well we didn't expect to have this or that happen! Gerald in fact had my vehicle done way sooner than was discussed that's because his auto tech stayed late and came in early to complete my Pathfinder you don't come across service like that in today's world! Now here is one more thing that I didn't expect at all I received a military discount and for this old Marine I was shocked and taken back a little! I didn't inquiry about I just have a sticker on my car! Thanks to all the guys at K&M in the auto service market today you won't find a better shop of honest hard working guys! Thanks Again!!

Yes, yes and yes...OMG These guys are the best. I had overheating issues and I am so very happy that when I googled an auto shop that this shop popped up. I went with my gut and gave them a try and so very happy that I did. Very friendly guys and know their stuff. They didn't price gauge me on anything and talked me through what needed to be done to get me back on the road. I am a female and usually mechanics take andvantage of females on these types of services because I have been to other establishments that have. These guys do not do that. They will be my go to guys for infinity and beyond. The service manager Logan is hella cool and Marshall I spoke with on the phone cool as well. If you need any kind of work done give these guys a shot I am so happy my gut was right. They put 4 different starters in my car and then blew my engine and told me it would cost over 4k to fix. Needless to say i got my car out of there immediately. They also refused to refund me for the starter even though my car was drivable when i brought it to them and now it is no longer drivable. My engine only had 95k miles on it. I would never take another car here or to any k and m after this experience.Im going to update my review because the owner just replied. Apparently they misread my review. I only got charged for one starter because i had to bring the car back immediately after they put the first starter in. They then proceeded to keep my car for almost a week and called me to tell me that they kept putting new starters in it and it kept doing the same thing. So then on the phone call they said they were ordering a different brand of starter. Then the next day they called and said whoops we blew your engine. YOUR SHOP blew my engine. While you were "fixing the starter" for over a week. And they still charged me for the starter and tried to make me pay to have a completely rebuilt engine put in but instead i had my car towed out of the shop.

Seems like these guys really know their cars, and they treat their customers really well. I will definitely be coming back. I took a used Honda CR-V in to them for a pre purchase inspection. They told me everything that will need to fixed/repaired soon, which really helped me to make a well informed decision.

They are such wonderful people. I came from Phoenix and am used to such horrible and dishonest mechanics. Jerry was honest, helped me out a lot, and I truly appreciate everything he has done to help me. I love this place and will never go elsewhere as long as I live here. :) UPDATE: Still wonderful people! They fixed my husband's car super fast. Thank you guys!

They did about $1,000 in repairs and upkeep on my vehicle which was needed. Work took 2 days and seems to have gone just fine but the interior of my car has SO much grease on it. The E-brake, door fabric, steering column, and plastic trim at bottom of door. For as much as I spent I shouldn't have to go back and clean the interior of my car like this.. unnaceptable.

I am writing a review even though I never actually had to take my car for service. They gave me advice over the phone and it ended up working! They are wonderful!!! So if I do ever have any car issue I am taking it in here because they are obviously hard working and honest mechanics. Hopefully it's not too in the future...But everyone should go here!

Scott and the guys at K&M are hands down the most professional and honest mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of utilizing. I have a '66 Ford Falcon that had serious problems requiring an engine rebuild, but they took care of me and it and they BACK THEIR WORK. Unfortunately, this is a rarity in their line, but in my experience they always go above and beyond what is even necessary. To top it all off, the whole crew is friendly and you can feel the great work atmosphere from the moment you step through their door. I own three old cars and am a shade-tree mechanic myself, so when I say that they know what they are doing, I feel confident of what I'm saying. These guys will be doing all the work I can't do myself for years to come based on my past few visits. Finding a good mechanic is rare, like finding a life-partner who is also your best friend. I'm now lucky enough to have found both. I can't recommend Scott and the other guys at the 122nd Ave. K&M highly enough.
