I have tried other shops in town and I can say these people know what they are doing. They are very communicative, honest and their prices are very reasonable. I took my car in because my head and brake lights were burned out. They replaced the bulbs at no charge. It felt odd not to pay for the replacement bulbs. Now on, this will be my goto shop for car repairs.

They've diagnosed and solved mutiple challenging auto problems for me, as well as performing routine maintenance. They are professional, competent, thorough, fast, fair, and friendly. Honest, reliable, knowledgeable, and dependable are the adjectives I've come to associate with K& M . In large part to their mechanic Brian. He used to work at the Line Up Shop (closed in 2017) for many years. He's a phenomenal mechanic who knows tons about suspension work and so much more!! Go get your wheels aligned and truck lifted there!!!K& M Auto Service mechanic's work on all types of vehicles. I've seen classic and high-end vehicles in their bays. Not to mention everything else in between.Thank you, K&M, for your honest, well priced, and reliable service. I will surely be back for an alignment and much more!!

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. They were kind, efficient, very reasonably priced, communicated with me through the whole process. They assisted me in getting a last minute tow, got the work done on my car in less than a full business day, and charged me less than quoted. TLDR: Do not go to this shop because they re liars. I m sure they can handle an oil change, but don t support people who so brazenly attempt to take advantage of others and ruin vehicles.I used to go to the one on 122 for just general oil changes. Never an issue.After I moved, the 50th location was closer so went once for an oil change. One price was quoted on the phone, and then a different price given in shop. That was strike one.Strike two (unrelated to their oil change and a couple years later) I heard a CLUNK and my clutch/gear shift started to act weird and degrade quickly. My normal mechanic (not them) couldn t get me in, so I called these guys and they did get me in same day.I am the original owner of a 2001 Tacoma with only 149k on it. I also know a bit more about mechanics than people assume when looking at me.When I took it in I asked them to very specifically confirm the baring within the gear shift was not the problem, as the Tacoma forums all say this is commonly the issue for my truck and matched what I had experienced when the problem happened.K&M said they confirmed it was not the bearing, and that they d need to open up the transmission because it was likely a total transmission failure, yet we can t know until we open it up. Cost just to open was $5k, and more work potentials had a range of costs after the $5k that went up to $8k.I know what transmission failure means and acts like and this was not it. I asked again if they had confirmed the gear shift baring. The woman at the desk said yes, but the older man behind the counter wouldn t look at me. I asked him directly. He said he took the shifter apart himself and confirmed it wasn t the issue. Then the woman quickly started sketching out on a paper what the inside of a transmission looks like. Again, because she s very falsely assuming I know nothing. I just smiled and said thanks, but no thanks, and that I only want a transmission specific shop to work on my transmission.Took my truck to a Gresham trans shop. Two hours later he brought me out a tiny baggie filled with little black pieces (see my attached pic). It was my gear shift baring, which didn t just break in half like normal, but had basically shattered.The problem was exact thing I confirmed twice with K&M that they had ruled out as the issue.Yet they could not have even taken the gear shift apart or they would have seen this. So them EVEN CHECKING was a lie in itself. That lie alone cost me $85.Know how much it was to replace my shattered gear shift baring? $200. And all of that was labor.K&M wanted to take a cherry Gen 1 Tacoma and open up its transmission! This is the worst part of the story.But then to make it worse, they wanted to charge me $5-$8k for something that cost me $200, and that they had already lied about.Truly appalling and I tell everyone this story because it s the exact thing people worry about with mechanics. And also very specifically how mechanics treat certain people based on stereotypes.Put this review off for a few months because I was so appalled. But someone just asked me for a mechanic recommendation so this resurfaced in my mind. This took place in summer 2022.I hope the shop tries to respond on this being false, in which case I ll post the paper estimate I still have that outlines exactly what I have written above.

Took my car to get checked out and was told it was going to take all day to be seen and to just go home. Had to WALK 4 MILES HOME just to get a phone call right after I got home to say the diagnostic is ready. I even told them I m happy to wait for a few HOURS. Had to UBER to their shop just for them to say my car was going to cost 3 GRAND to fix.After I got there to pick up my car, they charged us almost a hundred dollars just for us to get the keys back from them. They never said anything about a fee that I would have to pay before they gave me my keys back.This place is gross and I hope they have the day they deserve.

Awesome! I Highly recommend K&M for any service you need or a pre-purchase vehicle inspection. They are able to get your vehicle in super fast too. (Within two a days thus far). After my first repair they sent me a $$10 coupon for my next repair as well. Jacquie and Austin are great and they re able to send links for estimates and pictures If needed. They explain what s needed and let you know if it needs to be fixed right away or if it can be done later. (I first went in for an inspection when buying a used van.) I have had a few things that have broken after the inspection (serpentine belt and a sensor). My guess is that it s not easy or impossible to tell if these things might go wrong. They ve fixed a few things and I haven t had any problems with them even after driving across the country twice. Plus all the parts are under warranty for 1yr or a specific number of miles. Plus they have a super posh waiting area with coffee, a few. Comfy couches and TV with lots of steaming services! It s super comfortable and easy to wait a few hours as they fix your vehicle.

Came here less than 2 months ago to have our power steering worked on and we were very happy with the service. The young man at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I ve actually recommended this place to several of my clients after working with him. He did inform us that our timing belt would be needed to be worked on in the near future. My partner dropped our van off yesterday morning to have it serviced and we assumed it was time to replace the timing belt, as previously recommended. K&M sends a full review of the vehicle via text and when we received the review, it said the timing belt was fine yet the power steering was damaged (even though we had just paid $500 less than 2 months ago for them to fix it) and now a another much more expensive procedure was required. The review also said that our AC unit was in fine working order (it hasn t worked in 5 years) so obviously I was confused with the information that they provided. When I called to ask simple questions in regard to the contradictions in the review, Jackie spoke to me in a manner that blew me away. Keep in mind, I liked this place and planned on making this my new auto shop in town. She was so snarky and hostile that I could only reply we will be there to pick up our car shortly . When we arrived we had a bill of $145 for an oil change and for them contradicting themselves.Our van is older yet holds a lot of sentimental value so we are always willing to do whatever it takes to keep it on the road. We were previously very willing to give this company our money. Maybe Jackie needs to find a job out of customer service and maybe this place needs to figure out how to be more consistent and stand by what they say.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes

I have recently moved to the area and they were the first shop I discovered. Jackie, my service advisor, is amazing! She s helpful, and patient. Very professional and straight forward. They take great pics of your car that include problem areas but also areas that they want to acknowledge are in good condition. It makes for a really nice, concise portfolio of emergent and noncritical projects. Staff and mechanics just seem to be really nice people. Priced super fairly and always leave guarantees on their work. Glad that they're my go-to shop.

I love this place. I ve had a few things repaired here in the past, always leaving with a smile on my face. But today s experience sealed the five-star deal for me. My engine splash shield was dragging and partially cracked. They took about 15 minutes to work their magic to fix it and didn t charge me a dime. My 2015 F-150 had coolant leaking from the quick connectors on the turbo. Ford calls them quick connectors but it's a ton of work to replace them, so I brought the truck in to K&M. I dropped off first thing in the morning and they had it ready for pick up by the next day. I've now driven the truck across town quite a few times and everything is working great. I tow a trailer for work every day so I need this truck working properly, and K&M got me taken care of quickly, for a reasonable price. I started using this shop because it s an easy walk from where I live, and I m so glad I did. I ve never received anything less than exemplary service. The staff are all kind and informative and answer any questions I might have. I love that I get texts with links to my vehicle inspections, so I can see detailed information and photos of any necessary repairs and a list of everything that has been checked. The price tag is always less than I expect, and the work is always finished quickly. They have earned my loyalty for sure.

I had a wonderful experience at K and M auto. All staff was extremely friendly, even the customers in the shop were friendly! Jackie helped me and was so nice and understanding. I wasn t sure what exactly I needed and right when I told her why I was there she asked for me keys and got the job done immediately. I had a rough day and was not looking forward to taking my car in. Jackie made me feel relaxed and relieved to know my car was in good hands. Not to mention it was extremely quick. My brother, his friend, and I were headed to lunch when we noticed a scraping sound coming from the undercarriage of our car. After visiting two mechanics who could not help us and calling several others who would not work on a VW, we reached K&M. From the start, they were professional and friendly. It ended up being a simple fix for which they did not charge us. Their customer service was outstanding from start to finish. We will only ever go to K&M in the future. We just purchased a very used car for our daughter and followed best reviews to K & M. My husband spoke with Jacqui who instantly understood the issues and worked to get the car in asap. They provided a detailed printout of the general diagnostic with prices and a list of urgent and not so urgent issues. We shopped their pricing and found they were spot on. We'll definitely return to them and highly recommend their service

Had an issue with my truck that another mechanic could never figure out. Estimated a $140 diagnostic. Called me up and said, "we figured out the problem, it'll only cost you $75". Picked it up the next day and it ran great. Took them a couple hours to fix the problem, when my other mechanic took days/weeks and could never even diagnose it. Would totally recommend, and will definitely be using their services in the future.Service: Electrical

K & M is fabulous. I didn't have an appointment for my last visit, they still had my cabin filter changed in less than an hour on a busy day. In this case, I was told I also needed new rear brakes - really will need new rear tires in the next 6 months. Quite a difference. And, their brake service is nearly 1/3 less than I was quoted elsewhere. I love this woman owned business!
