Update: I gave them another try, and I'm happy I did because James, the manager, Johnny, and Reese did an outstanding job on flushing my radiator, oil change, and AC. Thank you all. The district manager provided the crew/customers with lunch. This is a wonderful way to show the crew that they are valued, so keep it up, and I will keep my business with this location.I went here today again because I needed an oil change to travel for a death in the family, but the experience was one that could have been avoided, had the employee listened. I have friends who have worked for Jiffy lube and know the process of an oil change. So, please, in the future, listen to the customer's needs!

This store has an awesome team - they successfully fixed my oil pan/plug after another Jiffy Lube location/franchise in Beaverton told me I needed a new oil pan and had installed a temporary butterfly plug. Manager and Asst. Mgr. were very helpful. They took the time to show me what they found and put in a replacement threaded plug. It's holding fine and they saved me almost $600!Will keep getting my oil changes at this location going forward. Highly recommend them!

Ugh! I've been going to this Jiffy Lube and several others in the area since purchasing my car two and a half years ago. Every time I bring it in for an oil change, I specify that I want the fluids topped off and the tire pressure checked, etc., all of which is included in the oil change service. I have a steering fluid leak which is generally manageable, but I try to time my oil changes with when the steering fluid can use a top off. I've brought my car to the NE Sandy location multiple times for an oil change, making it very clear that I am aware of the leak and need my steering fluid topped off. I can tell when my car needs it, because the steering wheel moans when I try to turn it. I've had the leak fixed before, but then it started up again. Anyway, it's been two or three times now that I brought my car in for an oil change at this location, and they failed to top off my steering fluid. In the past, I just let it roll off my shoulders and chalked it up to carelessness. This time, as I was pulling out of the Jiffy Lube onto the street, my wheel was already moaning, just as it had when I pulled in. I thought maybe the fluid hadn't settled yet and kept driving, but nothing improved. I only live a few blocks away, so when I got home I checked the steering fluid myself - it was completely empty, as I suspected. I called them to let them know they had failed to top it off, but the person I spoke to insisted that he personally had topped it off. I told him that he was mistaken, because I just checked it myself and the container was empty. I said I know about the leak, but the entire container does not leak within 5 minutes! It usually takes weeks or at least days before I need a refill. Anyway, I said I could come back the next day to get it topped off, but I didn't want that to count as my one courtesy top off in between oil changes, since they didn't cover that part of the service to begin with. Then he told me that they could not top me off at all until I got the steering leak fixed. Why did he pretend that he had topped it off then if he wasn't supposed to in the first place? Anyway, he blatantly contradicted himself, and in light of my previous experiences, where I dismissed the overlooked service as mere carelessness, I'm beginning to think it's deliberate. When I got home, I added a bottle of steering fluid I had, and then I drove miles away to work without any problems whatsoever. This offers further proof that nobody had topped it off when I was at Jiffy Lube. If it's not going to leak on a several mile long drive, it's certainly not going to empty out driving a few blocks away. (Plus, the wheel was still moaning when I left them, because nothing had changed.) Anyway, of course now I question whether they even changed the oil or checked the tire pressure or anything else for that matter. As other reviewers mentioned, there seems to be an awful lot of people just standing around chatting. For all I know they could have been shooting the breeze while I sat patiently inside in the waiting room. At this point it wouldn't shock me. I've had that thought before when this happened, but it seemed a little over the top. Now I'm not so sure. I had the one guy blatantly lie to me on the phone, so clearly anything goes with this team. I put in a call to the owner through a corporate customer service agent, so we'll see what happens. I certainly don't think it was fair for me to pay for an oil change without receiving all of the services promised, especially the one I specifically needed. Thank God there are other more reliable franchises in the area.

I recently had an oil change at Jiffy Lube, and I must say that Joe provided excellent service and customer care. After the oil change, I noticed a water coolant issue and returned a couple of days later. Joe not only remembered me but also promptly addressed the issue with his honest assessment and a charge that was exceptionally generous (I won't disclose details for business privacy)I would highly recommend Jiffy Lube and specifically commend Joe for his professionalism and customer care. He has a genuinely friendly and honest attitude, taking the time to explain the services performed and answering all the questions I had. I have had a few oil changes in the past in this place but I will definitely recommend and come back again.

Tech didn't really give a recommendation, just gave the difference between oil choices and left the decision up to me. He was still courteous, but also didn't exactly help. I got there right as they opened, and was the 3rd person there, but it kinda felt like I arrived just as they were closing and were trying to go home.

Waited for about 45 minutes. There were a bunch of employees seemingly milling about. No one really appeared to be doing anything in particular. I was waiting behind a vehicle that hadn t been looked at by anyone on the staff the entire time I was in line. They started looking at the other vehicle that went in after the one I was waiting on first. Not sure why it takes 5 employees to stand around the hood of one car chit chatting. I didn t have time to wait around so I left without getting service. I m guessing that that truck is still just sitting in the bay as I type this.

New Crew!! You are incredible! I was at this location in August and was told I needed new transmission fluid, decided to get that done today and was created by a whole new crew. They checked every over and said I was good to go. He showed me the transmission, it was mostly clear! I love integrity! They went above and beyond and didn't charge me a thing.

I just had my oil changed and it was a stupendous experience. It was affordable, quick (it only took 15 minutes), easy, and most importantly I didn t feel that the service providers were pushing any additional unnecessary accoutrements on me, which is pretty rare in this industry. They were nice, down to earth humans who didn t feel like robots or mansplainers. I suggest Jiffy Lube corporate should increase their wages and give them more PTO. I highly recommend this specific Jiffy Lube. Your vehicle will be a happier one for it.

So, since this location was close to my job, i went there after work today to get a simple synthetic oil change. I pulled up and asked if with the 25 dollar online coupon, would the total be under 100, they said 'oh yeah absolutely!" Then INSISTED that they drive my car into the bay, something that I have NEVER experienced at any Jiffy Lube (I usually go to one of the two on 82nd) in the entire 15 years Ive lived in portland. Should have been a big red flag right there. So then, i wait outside thinking its going to be a ten min process like at every othet jiffy lube.... So...then, mysteriously, the fact that they are replacing the oil filter(which, again they do every single time) and they say its now going to bring the price up above 100, im like fine, considering they are already in my car and have been there a half hour... 45 mins later im still sitting outside and they say they are almost done and i can pay... So im being as sweet as i can be considering now we are getting close tp an hour, and pay my 105 dollar bill, and give the kid 6 bucks as a tip anyway, to be nice.... So they make a big show of splitting the 6 dollars between a bunch of the techs, half of whom didnt even touch the car in the HOuR that we are clocking now.... THEN they say, oh i think theres something wrong with your key.... And my key wouldnt go into the ignition because they either messed it up on purpose, Or were so rough with it that it dislodged something inside. Im pretty sure they were upset that i didnt give them a bigger tip. Then when i got upset about my key being messed up, because i had NEVER had a problem with the key before letting this 18yr old "tech" touch my car, they wanted to pull the ol Portland Gaslight on me and be like 'oh you shouldnt be so upset, like as if THEY wernt going to stick me with a messed up ignition.Do not reccomenned, absolutely unprofessional kids and rude.

While passing through town on a long roadtrip, these guys absolutely did a great job accommodating my 24' long x 10'9" tall Class-C motorhome (Ford E-350). Got the oil/filter changed in 20 minutes for under $100 and it was a fantastic experience. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this to other small Class-C rigs *under* 11' tall.

So glad wyatt was there! A fellow trooper owner made my worries melt away instantly as I saw his rig parked in the lot and talked to him! Everyone was so helpful in answering questions I had as a new owner. I hate to play this card but it s a thing as a woman..I felt respected and welcome there, which isn t usually synonymous in that whole realm. I chose this location for their knowledge, I return because of their customer service!

I went in today for an oil change. First off, everyone there was so incredibly nice and helpful, even on the phone when I called ahead to ask the price. I knew my check engine light was on and I wanted to ask questions about it and other issues with my car which they were helpful for. I got a quote on tires since I need new ones which was also nice and helpful of them. They checked out my headlights, taillights, flushed my engine and did an oil change. I called before coming to check in and make sure they were available. Scott on the phone was helpful and polite and told me to come on down.Man working in the bay was super rude. No cones/safety things were out to indicate drivers shouldn t approach or enter the bay. He wasn t paying attention and when he did notice approaching me, he chastised me for driving too close and told me I was about to fall in the hole. I ve driven to a Jiffy Lube before once or twice before and haven t ever fell in a hole before, but typically if hazards exist you block them. Haven t been spoken down to that way at a shop in a long time and didn t appreciate it. Someone needs to give that guy a hug or something.After the rudeness, they did what I needed quickly and the other techs were polite but all seemed annoyed by that guy. Don t be that guy!

Blaine did a quick job, he was delightful, knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. They were far cheaper to do BOTH headlights than the competition was to do just one. He was so fast I almost missed my chance to take a picture of him working. I'll happily be back here again.

Editing my initial review because of a positive follow up customer service experience, where a partial refund was issued and the whole thing made right. Really, I think the root of my issue was a website snafu, with prices seemingly updating at the exact time I was getting the quote? Which may or may not even have went through in the first place (no confirmation), adding to the confusion. I didn't like that I had to jump through some hoops, but good to know that the owners stand behind their business and watch the google reviews. I'm not really holding them accountable for the website experience that seems to be more at a national level. Revising to 4 stars.Service: Air conditioning

These guys are great, super helpful. I recently bought a car and needed the ac fixed, finding and getting the part to fit was a bit of a trial but the dudes came through. It took a good portion of the day but I work nearby and just left it with them so no problem for me (and hey I think same day is pretty good for an ac fix). Now it's blowing icy cold.

Solid, great shop for oil and tire changes. Blaine was very helpful. A professional, straight to the point, and polite guy. Got an oil change and was pleasantly surprised to find they offer affordable market rate tires as well. I had a 20$ coupon for a full synthetic oil change, and Blaine gave me 25$ off just because he understands how to treat a customer. Will be coming back for future oil and tire changes because of the professionalism at this location.Services: Tires, Oil change

This location on Sandy are the best group in Northeast Portland.They all work together to make the customer 100% satisfied.I don t ever question when they have to tell me.There might be more additional work.And they always give it up as an option. Do NOT go here. I went in to have a tire patched because of a nail. There was no wait and I was guided in. 10 min later the nail was found and I was told it'd be $30. Fine. AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES LATER my car was FINALLY ready. When I asked why it had taken so long instead of the normal 20-30min, I was blown off. I left and called, asked to speak to a lead and expressed my frustration. HE blew me off, said they were still busy and had to go and hung up. I will not be going to Jiffy Lube (near or far) for any further servicesService: Tires

The people seemed nice enough, but I called ahead to see if they could change my transmission filter. They said yes, and quoted me around $350. I drove over 20 min to them and was told sorry, we don t do that . What a waste of my time.

I like that I can pull in without having to make an appointment and get oil changed. I like that they check a lot of items -- let me know I had some belts badly worn and let me know some fluid levels we dangerously low. They were fast, courteous and answered all my questions well. awful experience with this place since they kept talking to me when I told them I'm deaf and asked them to write down or typing. simple right? but no, they kept talking to me and not really communicated with me when my car is done or what's going on with my car. I wish I would follow my guts when something is wrong since I thought they were just busy and being tired with so many car services in the line so its understandable but after the service, they still kept talking to me like this. just awful..

I went in to have my oil changed - was talked into additional services that were not necessary. I waited for 3 hours and was repeatedly ignored and told it was almost done. It was 2 hours longer than I was quoted (after waiting an hour) and at the end I told them to stop because the last service wasn't worth waiting at a Jiffy Lube for another hour.I asked another worker to show me the cracks in my belt that were so important to replace for $200+ and he couldn't find any and said it must have been a mistake. 3 hours and $200+ wasted. I was treated poorly and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change
