It's not easy to find a shop to work on an old, import Mercedes but these folks are the only ones I'll take any of my vehicles to.I live in SE Portland, but I'll make the trip every time to Hartmann. The experience will save you money and the service has been excellent.

Absolutely outstanding! Another local mechanic recommended Hartmannn for some repair work for our company's Mercedes Sprinter van and I couldn't have been more impressed. They are very up-front with everything and stayed within our company's budget. Great service and awesome people!

We were looking for a reputable and honest shop to take our Sprinter. After getting a grossly inflated quote for a belt and tensioner replacement from a specialty shop on McLoughlin, I was wary of getting ripped off. Hartmann s quote for the same job was less than half. And instead of a sketchy looking shop, Hartmann is clean and professional looking. When the Sprotner was finished the tech came out and explained what was done and their observations of the vehicle. It was a pleasure working with them from start to finish. I hope I don t have to see them soon, but know I ll be taken care of when I do.

Hartmann motors was fantastic! They diagnosed and fixed my vehicle when another shop could not and the dealership misdiagnosed the issue completely. I highly recommend this company if you want experienced, quick, fair and outstanding customer service.

Best Mercedes servicing I've ever experienced! This business will never oversell work or parts. They re not going to amputate over a hangnail like the dealers seem to do. I ve found the pricing fair and is unmatched in my experience.

The guys at Hartmann were great from the very first phone call until I picked my car up!! They were professional throughout the entire process. I took my car to them just for a check up I felt they are very expensive they charge me $290 just for. Check my car it only took them less than an hour when I called him told him it is too expensive I went to pick up my car they were very rude that is not the way to do the business I took the car to another place. when it was half of the prices they were asking me for I was very unhappy with them

I started going to Hartmann Motors a few years ago after a glowing recommendation from a friend, who had been having terrible experiences with other shops to get a problem solved. When you own an aging European car, you tend to have a love/hate relationship with a lot of shops over the years..... But my experiences with Hartmann have been nothing short of wonderful. Even when I needed to coordinate work to be done when I was half way around the world, Craig was great to communicate with to help me get everything done. I also had a fault in my system that had an active recall/warranty on, and they recommended I go have it fixed elsewhere under the recall. That's what I want out of a repair shop; I want them to be on my team to help me keep my vehicle safely on the road.Now it's the only place I will take my Mercedes, because I trust they will be honest and upfront with what work actually is needed.Thanks to Craig and everyone at Hartmann for continuing to be my Go-To shop.

I've taken my car to Hartmann for service three times and the experience has been great. They're really helpful, and get my car in and out of there quickly. I trust them when they tell me what work needs to be done now and what can wait until later. Highly recommend.

Love Hartmann! My husband and I both drive BMW's and take them to Hartmann whenever we need oil changes or have issues. They are honest, knowledgable, and have a quick turn-around every time. They won't try to get you to replace or fix anything that doesn't need it. Holy cow! These guys beat and exceed every expectation! On a recent visit to deal with a headlight issue they not only fixed it, but fixed it again when I broke their fix! SUPER nice, fairly priced and always trying to make sure they treated me right. Will recommend without hesitation!

Paid 136 for an alignment on my 2022 BMW X3M40I, BMW wanted to charge me 300 if I purchased tires, 600 without . Service was less than 2 hours. Thanks Craig!

Over the course of many years we've taken two 3-Series BMWs to Mike and Pat for service and repair. These twin brothers run a clean shop and are always loaded with customers. They've fixed water pump, fuel pump, leaky head gasket, plugs and wires, and other miscellaneous items for us.Diagnosis has always been right the first time. Work has always been right the first time. Timeliness has been consistent and prices have been fair. Not the least expensive, but not the most expensive either. I'll take fair and competent over cheap and wrong anytime we're talking about my vehicles.Thanks fellas. Keep up the good work.

I had my first experience with Hartmann Motors today and it was great!! My 2005 Volvo was not turning over and several people (including AAA) were unable to resolve the issue. I received a call a few hours later that the issue was actually a popped fuse and I could come pick up my car. They even explained how it most likely happened and did not charge me for it.This is definitely the mechanic for me and my car, as I've had enough from the dealers and chains telling me to replace my wipers and filter every time I come in for service. It's hard to find a place like this and I'm glad we did.

Though we've had another mechanic do the majority of the work on our bimmers over the years, we have brought some things to Hartmann, as well. I cannot say enough good things about Hartmann... every time we've taken something to them, they've diagnosed it right and fixed it right, the first time, every time. Had them do a valve cover gasket on our X3 a couple of weeks ago, spending far less than the repair of a whole new valve cover by our other guy. And just today. I dropped the X3 off for a misfire diagnosis. Didn't expect them to look at it until tomorrow, but I got a call saying it was just a loose coil and sensor, and that it was done and ready, no charge.Blown away at the great service here. You have a customer for life, Hartmann. Thank you for your honest business.

Guys did a great job installing the brake pads, rotors, sensors etc. my Z4 desperately needed, while the price was more than i anticipated the quality of work and their ability to get my car in and out quickly made it well worth it. I highly recommend this shop!

I was due for my first service on my 2018 glc300 and decided to shop it around to see if anyone could beat the high-cost dealership price. Hartmann got me right in and charged less than 1/2 what the dealership quoted me. They were very prompt, friendly and courteous. I will be using them again! Thx guys!

So far I am disappointed. I was hoping to find a better option for my car than the dealer.I brought my Audi here for the first time a few months ago for a simple oil change. The same day, after the oil change the oil pressure light came on for the first time ever. I took the car back to Hartmann and after keeping the car for 4 or 5 days without any communications they finally called me and said I needed a new oil pump. The person who called me told me it would be about $850 to replace it and that there were no aftermarket options on the pump and it would cost me $425 for the part itself. Later I found out that the OEM pump is available for under $300 from Amazon. So Hartmann put in the $425 dollar pump and then they charged me again for another oil change and filter even though I had less than 100 miles on the previous oil change and filter.Now, less than 100 miles later the car is burning oil and smoking after the car runs for 5-10 minutes. I just called Hartmann to tell them what is happening and they can't even look at it for over a week.So far I feel like I got a $1000 oil change that made my car much worse than before.

I have been taking various Mercedes to Mike and Pat for many, many years. We started going to them when they were still downtown and were very happy when they moved to their new shop several years ago since it is less than 1/2 mile from my house. Their expertise and fair prices make continued Mercedes ownership feasible for us.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at fair prices here. They ve even helped me to save money on repairs that would have been needed soon. They don t just tell you what needs to be done. They show you the parts and explain in simple terms what is going on with your car. I need to have a repair job done ASAP and I will be calling them hoping they can fit me in to their busy schedule.

Took my vw twice within the last week. Twice they said they fixed it and 2 days later my car dies again. I've paid them 400 dollars for nothing! And when I call to see if they will fix it and do an inspection on it, they still want to charge me more!!!!Update: I could smell burning coolant from a VERY hot engine. I checked on the coolant reservoir and it was overflowing. I siphoned some out to a lower level, let the car sit an extra half hour and it started up. The added coolant and temp gauge that was replaced was supposed to have fixed the overheating issue.. the sensor never went off but it was still over heating.

Took the car in and paid for a repair over $3,000. While they were in, they saw a part that was broken. Decided it should be replaced but didn't have it in stock. Instead of calling me, they just stuck it back in. The car got a few miles down the road before it died. Towed it back in to find out they knew about the problem but hoped I wouldn't find out. Disappointing.
