I can't say enough good things about Green Drop Garage! Not only is the service here top-notch, but the team is amazing as well. Always glad to see Roger or Bell when I drop my car off for routine service. They consistently exceeded my expectations and pricing is always fair. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. Excellent experience on my first visit to Green Drop. I had an appointment at the MLK location but when I arrived they were backed up. Asked me if I wouldn t mind driving 8 minutes away to the NW location where I could pull in immediately, and they offered to comp my entire service. Needless to say I agreed. This is how to do customer service. Thanks Green Drop.

They replaced my front head lights that you would normally have to drop the bumper on with no problem very fast and efficient I will be coming right back for more work Thankyou so much to Billy and Roger for a quick and easy fix! Everyone who needs work done on their car come here!!!!!! They don t disappoint

I highly recommend their Car Care Membership. It makes basic maintenance more convenient and they always do a thorough job. They are proactive with any issues they see when performing routine tasks, but they do not upsell.On one visit the manager and I chatted about the Seattle Seahawks because he noticed I was wearing a mask with their logo. A week later I received the high quality travel mug in the mail pictured below along with a green drop keychain and a Seahawks mask. What?!

I really really like green drop. I use this location all the time for my normal maintenance routine. They are always fast and efficient and super nice. The membership is totally affordable and they replace all the little lights that you forget about. They're always super nice and professional.

Use with caution, 0/5 would never recommend to a friend .I don t regularly write reviews BUT my partner went in just for their brakes, was initially quoted $700. Once they re in there, one thing comes to another and somehow jumps to $1,500. Two days without the truck, he went to pick it up today and they are charging him $2,200 AND to top it all off, his key fob no longer works and his driver s window no longer rolls done when it was perfectly fine 48 hours prior. And now they re trying to charge him for them to fix the window they ve broke (:yeah, not a great timeService: Brakes

I ve been subscribed to their membership program for a few years now and it s been so great. Every time I ve taken my car in, not matter which location I ve had to go to, I ve been met by really friendly, helpful employees. For me it s been especially tough as a woman to find a mechanic that feels comfortable, where I feel like I m not being taken advantage of because I don t know anything about cars, or where people aren t condescending. I immediately felt comfortable at my first visit with Green Drop. They are never pushy about services and simply informational about I don t think we ll have to change this this time but maybe something that will be necessary next time you come in . Just professional and sincere like it s your friend helping you out. My most recent visit Caleb at the MLK location was kind enough to show me how to check the oil levels on my car before a long road trip since I ve had a minor leak. He was so kind about it despite me acknowledging it s definitely something I should ve already known haha. Usually I feel like Green Drop goes above and beyond, but my most recent visit was very middling. They said that they were going to give the car back to me with the TPMS light on. I asked if they could just put some air in the tire so that I didn't have to take it somewhere else just to put air in the tire. They agreed to do so and the TPMS light turned itself off. They also noted on their inspection that the drivers side headlamp bulb was low. I checked when I got home, and it the bulb was actually dead (though the lane indicator light was still on). It was a hassle to take it somewhere else to get the headlamp bulb replaced immediately after I got it home from the mechanic. It's kind of frustrating to pay $100 for a diagnostic for them to tell me the battery is dead and miss that the headlight bulb was out. I have 5 cars, and go to Green Drop relatively often. In general, I have very good experiences with Green Drop. I'll continue utilizing their services, but this visit was kind of disappointing.

The staff at Green drop does an incredible job and is very transparent about their services and my vehicle's needs; with a range of options. I highly recommend them for oil changes, tire rotation, tire repair, diagnostics and more! They even jump started my car free of charge when I needed it outside of an appointment window- above and beyond!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Wheel alignment

Just had my second oil change service here at the MLK Green Drop. Both times the service technicians have been super communicative, friendly, and welcoming. I don t drive much so basically do an oil change once a year, and it serves as my vehicles health checkup , and I feel like it s in good hands. Thanks for your hard work everybody, I ll see you next year.

I think this may be the first poor review I've felt the need to write. I came to Green Drop Garage to address a vibration issue with my vehicle while in Park and reverse. I was told that a transmission fluid change was the recommended fix. I was also told that changing spark plugs and the air filter was a good idea as well. I received a quote of over $300.00 and agreed to have the service done. As I am not a mechanic, I naturally had some questions and concerns throughout the process. Each one of them was met with immediate rudeness and poor customer service, specifically by Caleb, and the problem was never resolved. My car still has the same problem. I'll never use this place again.

I've been a customer for a few years now, and the service is always exceptional! Most recently I had a tricky check engine light that would turn on sporadically. They were able to diagnose the cause quickly, explain it to me in detail via phone (hat tip to Caleb :) ), and then provided a perfect recommendation to fix it. It's great to have a consistent place to take my car, and I highly recommend them.

I have always had such a great experience taking my car into Green Drop Garage. Caleb at the MLK location is incredibly communicative, friendly and patient at ensuring I always understand what is going on with my car. He is always happy to talk through any current or future repair I need and reasonable and honest about which ones I need now and which can wait. I love the platform they use to communicate repairs and estimates and my car is always well taken care of and clean when I pick it up.

I wish I would have gone to this place when I first saw it last year. All the reviews are true, they are amazing. I dropped my car at 11:30 and they had it done by 4:30 the same day. They have a very affordable service plan that covers so many things and saved me so much needed money today Mike was great and full of knowledge. They took pictures of problems that are about to happen. I am very happy to have a new service shop and highly recommend.

Awesome. I just took the other car to the dealership and somehow it ended costing $800 to service the truck when they quoted $300. Green Drop charged me $120 for sull service of my car and were incredibly efficient. I booked it online. They called to confirm the day before and were super fast. So impressed. Thank you!

Wonderful experience today at Green Drop Garage on MLK. In addition to being hygiene and safety-focused during this time of COVID, their oil change service went above and beyond to include lots of extras, like new wipers and lights, tire rotation, and more. They performed a full assessment and provided pictures and documentation when letting me know what preventative maintenance was recommended. Overall great experience and great location, plus Green Drop is a Certified B Corporation, so I know they are operating to high social and environmental standards. I ll be back!

This is an amazing value! Headlight replaced, wipers replaced, oil changed, air filter replaced, tires rotated and all that for $80 (the headlight replacement alone is $140 at the dealership). The folks are incredibly friendly and helpful, know exactly what they're doing, do great fast work, have better wifi than any of the cafes in the area, and have free coffee, beer, and kombucha.I'll be coming back here any time I need auto work done.

Love the shop and everything about it, I will keep coming here for all my basic services.Tires and alignments on the other hand is a little lackluster. They say they have as good as deals as costco but I paid roughly 20% more for labor and alignments compared to other shops.

When I first moved to Portland 10 years ago; I wanted to be around people who understood that living in an eco-friendly way was not just a fad to follow; it is an important way of life to adopted whole heartedly! So one of my first orders of business was to find a green garage for my car.Enter the og GDG on SE 9th Ave. Not only are they eco-friendly, they have outstanding customer service, fun swag and goodies in their waiting room. And now there are multiple locations so I pick MLK, closest to home and the office.

The people were friendly, but I called and asked about lowered vehicle alignment, they told me yes, so I drove like heck to get there after work lol, 5 minutes into it they pulled my car out, said I'm too low. After describing how low the car is. Wasted both of our time

These guys were an absolute pleasant surprise. After my experience with them I absolutely trust them to be honest, and they looked out for me on the overall cost coming back with a better, cheaper solution. 10/10 would come back when my car is broken.

Came in an hour before close on a Saturday. Caleb was quick to help us with an issue with our rear wiper. I m a chicken when it comes to DIYing anything to do with my car and so figured I d be better off with a professional opinion. I m also a pessimist with access to google and assumed the worst and that I d need $200+ car surgery. Caleb diagnosed the issue, explained what was wrong, grabbed a socket wrench, tightened a bolt and fixed it completely in about 2 minutes - and didn t charge us a thing. We ll absolutely be back when there s something a socket wrench can t fix.

I called them when my buddy had a flat tire, they were kind and considerate and offered free air, thats Kool nothings for free these days except for unsolicited advise ( always bad advise or so it seems)these guys seemed to care , although my friend chose another direction Les Swab, I give these guys 2 thumbs up and would give them a try if I ever find myself up the road without a paddle or spare tire. Caleb answered the phone from the get go was very knowledgeable, kind and patient with questions and took time to explain anything that was needed. Always had a clear line of communication and incredibly fair prices.
