It snowed four days ago and the streets are fine yet they rescheduled on me two days in a row now "due to weather". Called Auto Glass USA on SE 92nd and the tech Gabriel is almost done three and a half hours later, doing an awesome job in 15 degree weather with a smile on his face. Good luck out there window shoppers.

Ive been dealing with Tom Z. for many many years! As a local insurance agent I need a very reliable glass company for my clients. Tom takes amazing care of all my clients. They will come and install any window where ever you are in the Portland area. Tom is very ethical and will treat you like you are his only customer! 5 stars for sure!

Tom Ziemann is the best guy around! He has been taking care of our customers windshields for over 20 years. I have known Tom for 13 years and he has never let me down. He will make sure your windshield gets fixed or replaced fast and it will be a quality job! He has even helped me out by getting 3 of my own cars glass replaced. Give him a call! You won't regret it.

I have used Tom Z for 25 years starting with body shops I managed then as the Insurance agent . I have watched Tom turn around every company he worked with for the better. Tom has always put his clients first and made sure they were getting the best in repairs. Tom has always already made positive changes for Glass America I look forward to many more years of reliable great service.

***EDITED***A dump truck had tossed a rock leaving a star in the driver's side windshield that quickly spread across feild of view making driving a hazard. I had called several other businesses in the area and got told I had to wait until Tuesday and was quoted over $300+. Needless to say I called these folks and got scheduled for next day.I was called the following day and notified there was a problem and I wouldn't be able to see a technician until the aforementioned Tuesday but before I could even think about being disappointed the lady at the desk informed me I'd receive the same at home visit for $200. It is now Tuesday I was scheduled for noon and had to change the location of the visit due to working and the gentleman was very kind arrived three hours early and had it finished in just 30 minute.10/25/23Needed my trucks windshield replaced scheduled it out technician pulled in called me looked at the truck for a half a second and said he can't do it due to "rust" there is no rust in my windshield or surrounding it just on the bumper he could see. Waste of time rescheduled my morning to be disappointed. Verbatim "Safelite wouldn't do it no big corporation will. you could sign your life away on it And we'd still say no" -Brian B.Just picked up my vehicle from speedy glass and was notified that there was no apparent rust and the windshield was installed no issues.

I had a great experience from start to finish. When I called I received fast friendly service along with a quote $100 less than two other quotes I had received elsewhere. Robert G was very friendly, helpful and responsive to my needs. He called right away to set up a window of when he d be available to come and when it didn t quite work for me, he moved his day around to accommodate me. He completed the job in approximately 40 minutes with zero class left in the door. Will definitely recommend Glass America to others!

My insurance company recommended Glass America after I had a window smashed and I didn't have the right coverage, so I had to pay out of pocket. Tom was great throughout the process, easy to communicate with when I had questions and worked with me around my schedule and economic situation. The repair was done quickly, professionally, and cleanly!!!

While driving home a semi spit out a couple rocks that left stars on our windshield. I call up Glass America, give them my insurance info, and was scheduled for the following day to meet at my home. That was incredibly fast! I was expecting just a quick business transaction, guy shows up, works on the car, accepts payment, leaves. That was my last experience with a mobile glass company, but the service I received was much better than that.Robert Garcia called me at the scheduled time to give me an approximate window as to when he would be there and called later to give me his ETA. Very appreciated! After showing him the stars, Robert explained to me the risks since this wasn't a normal star, it had actually chipped and cracked the glass (he wasn't up-selling me anything). He explained their warranty in detail, told me about the process of sealing the cracks, answered all the questions I asked, and made sure I understood all of my options in case the glass did crack and how my money would go toward replacing the windshield (no money wasted). Thankfully, everything came out fantastic and the stars are barely visible! Robert was very friendly, informative, and professional. I'm calling these guys again!My only recommendation on improvement would be to give the drivers a mobile card reader instead of having them call in to make the transaction faster.

Robert G was awesome!! He did an amazing job replacing our windshield, super professional and courteous as well. The windshield has a perfect seal and he did it in a really timely fashion. Robert was especially helpful by keeping in contact and making sure to give clear updates. A lot of companies give you the typical Someone will be there between these hours . We were told we d be contacted anywhere from 8:30-9:00 AM; sure enough I got a call from Robert around 8:35. He was super transparent about letting me know when he d be heading over and that he would call and give me a heads up. As promised, he called around when he said he would and gave a very clear estimate on when he d arrive. He then arrived right on time and was very professional in person!Once he had completed the job, he made sure to give me all the info I needed and make sure I was happy with the end result. The windshield has been great since! Thank you so much!

The Z Man!! AKA Tom Z!- what an amazing bundle of joy and enthusiasm! Tom always goes over and above what is expected of him. In my two decades of working in the insurance industry, there has been one absolute constant- Tom Z the Glass man. Whatever vendor it may be, they are not the same without Tom-- I've ended up following him around, wherever he goes, because I know every single client will receive outstanding service, without fail. Thank you Tom. You truly make a difference.

Horrible service ever. Had them come out to replace my windshield in my company van at a job we where working on. They removed my window and not only did the installer make a mess in my work van but he scratched all my paint around my window so it looks horrible and now I have to take it to a auto body shop to have it painted the installer guy tells me with a smile on his face they can t replace my windshield because my van was messed up. There was nothing wrong with it. So they left me without a windshield and damages to my van and now I am stuck at a customer house with no windshield. Who does that. I highly recommend never doing business with this company Cause they might leave you stranded. I will be making a complaint and calling for reimbursement for the damages or I will be seeing you in court

It is not often that I refer someone in any business because I feel it is a direct reflection of me. Tom Z is one person that I will and have referred people to for over 20 years. He is always Johnny on the spot and takes care of customers. He goes the extra mile. As long as he is involved with Glass America, I highly recommend doing business with them. He WILL NOT disappoint!

I am an insurance agent. One of my customers informed me at about 4 in the afternoon that his windshield was cracked. I emailed the customer's contact info to Tom Ziemann, the new manager. Tom and his team responded to the customer by 5PM!! They scheduled the repair right away! Great job Tom and Glass America!!

Tom is the guy who is always there for you! Our customers love him because he always follows through and listens to all there concerns. He also stops by to make sure we have everything we need. Being a small business is important to stay connected. It can be a challenge to do so but not with Tom! He's consistent and helps everyone. We are lucky to have him around!

Who you gonna call? Well, after you can't find the number for Ghost Busters, you call Tom Z and his team at Glass America, Portland. You won't find a more experienced team anywhere else. These guys have the expertise, experience and knowledge that sets them apart from the competition- as if the other guys were really competition anyway. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family and I would definitely take my car to Tom and his team when I need glass repair or replacement.
