would give this place 1,000 stars!!! they're super quick, to the point, honest and really damn nice. there was also a weird issue happening after our check-up, and they took care of it immediately.a friend of ours even heard us talking about having to go to the shop, and they were like "you should go to my place, i really like them" -- turned out they also go to Everett :)

I was recommended to this place after buying a van that had priorly been worked on by the shop. Able, My direct point of contact, Was nothing but accommodating, friendly, and reasonably priced. The friendliest service I have had in the Portland area and a long time. I cannot say enough good things will be recommending anybody. I know to the shop.

Personally, I have been afforded great service at Everett Street Autoworks. My initial visit brought me in for what I was told head gaskets needing to be replaced. I was quoted $7,000 in repairs from another shop and was horrified by this. Everett Street assesed the vehicle and ran numerous tests to verify if the head gaskets were in fact bad and needing to be replaced. They were able to determine the head gaskets were fine and the vehicle in fact did not need this repair. I appreciated the honesty at that time that was conveyed.Upon a follow-up appointment, Everett Street did find the Radiator needing to be replaced as well as some other minor repairs needing to be done.It was their tactful honesty from my first encounter with Everett Street that brought me back as a repeat customer. I'm grateful for these guys!

Such an amazing experience! They give me a great rate to fix my ABS and install brake pads. Scheduling was easy and work was done within a few hours.

It was my second time bringing my car into this location and I'm just as happy that I did as the first time around. Easy scheduling, thorough and transparent communication, fair pricing, friendly and organized staff, and no recurring issues with issues they've fixed. I couldn't recommend them more!

After an initial inspection, my truck was repaired the same day I dropped it off. The Everett Auto team was happy to answer any and all of my questions. Plus they're conveniently located in downtown Portland! Everett Auto has found themselves a return customer. Thanks again guys, keep up the good work.

A regular customer, I recently had Everett Street Autoworks do some major work: oil and filter changes, brake pads, brake fluid flushing. After expressing some concerns in a followup review, I was immediately contacted. They apologized for the problem and resolved the problem to my complete satisfaction. I am very impressed by their concern and followup - they stand behind their work 100%. They will definitely continue to be my place for my maintenance needs in the future.

I love they they re communicative, they didn t do anything extra without calling and asking me. This kept the price consistent with what they quoted and were clear about it by say you don t need this today, but within the next year it definitely needs to get done. They were also very friendly and direct about the work they did. I ll definitely keep coming back.

I was impressed with Everett s intake process and easy of check-in and pick-up. The staff addressed the things I asked them to in a timely manner. Added bonus: the cost for my service was much lower than I expected!

This was absolutely the best experience I've ever had when dealing with car difficulties. I came in to get my tires replaced after far too long and hoped that would fix some other issue I was having. They checked out my car while it was in the shop and found some other issues that I would have had no idea about without their help. When it came to quoting prices I was shocked when the total for the tires plus fixing the other problems was actually less than I'd assumed just getting the tires would be. I worked with Nestor throughout the process and he not only explained things really well, kept in touch with me and he also made me feel better about the shape of my car. It was a great experiencing! I'll absolutely be going to them again in the future!

Been a customer for many many years and each time Everette never seems to disappoint. All staff is super sweet, very knowledgeable, and they don't take advantage of you like many other car repair shops! Fantastic yet again!!

Brought my truck in for a misfire. The team at Everett Street diagnosed the problem, showed me the issues (spark plug gaps were way too big and I had a failing coil pack), and notified me that this particular engine was well-known to have spark plugs break off in the engine when trying to remove them (which is true and part of the reason I took it in to them to begin with) before they began work. They let me know how they would handle it if that happened and what the potential extra charges could be, but that they had a special tool to help prevent this. They pulled it off flawlessly (with no broken plugs and no extra charges), communicated with me throughout the process, and had it done quickly. Truck is running great now. It can be difficult to know who to trust when it comes to mechanics but these guys are honest, trustworthy, and communicate very well. 10/10 all around experience.

Shop is very convenient, close to home.Second oil change here. All went smoothly.They looked at the non-working power outlets and discovered the fuse was in the wrong slot.No charge for that. Can t complain.No pressure, pointed out some issues with the brakes and suspension.Didn t seem interested in quoting for a complete suspension overhaul which, at 110K+, it sorely needs.There was a grubby fingerprint on the glovebox lever which was annoying. Difficult to miss on a cream interior.Would use again.

They were great! Even though I didn t get work done, they were super honest and open with the work needed. And just an inspection was $35! That alone at my Mazda dealership would ve run upwards of $150, just for inspection! Great experience and I d recommend .

Friendly, honest professionals. I had gone to a dealership (I know, I know) for an oil change (was WAY overcharged) and was presented with a nearly $3000 estimate for needed urgent services. I got a second opinion from Everett Street, found out two of the services (alignment and brake job) were not needed (dealership flat out LIED about the thickness of my brake pads) and paid for the needed services at a much more reasonable price. I don t know why dealerships have such a hard time with honesty and market rate prices. You would think they would garner more business and loyalty by doing so. Fortunately Everett Street Autoworks does have integrity, honesty, fair prices and great customer service. They have earned my business for life.Service: Transmission

I ve been going to Everett for over ten years. They always take great care of my car and never sell me things I don t need. They re reliable and that s the most important thing. Just in this last month my car broke down twice because of rat damage and they got my car fixed same day despite a busy holiday and winter season. I don t see myself switching to another auto shop anytime soon. I just hope they don t get so popular that I can t get in!

As always, the attention to customer needs were foremost when I arrived to drop the car off as well as when I picked it up. The thorough explanation of what was going on with the heater was simple and easy to comprehend. The constant contact with updates were also indicative of care and concern. Thanks for all of that.

I ve only ever had a positive experience here. There are plenty of other auto shops closer to my house, but I ll continue to go to Everett St Autoworks as long as they keep providing exceptional and timely service on my vehicle. They never try to sell me things I don t need and communicate any issues my car may have in a way that keeps me as a customer in mind.

My Kia got its back window smashed in an attempted smash and grab a couple months back. Because I have an older car almost every mechanic I called couldn't get the part or estimated a 5 month waiting period for it to come in. Greg however not only had the part but was able to get my car in the shop within the same week! They did a wonderful job fixing it, as well as updating me on other fixes I needed while quoting a fair price.After that experience they will definitely be my go to mechanic from here on out! Thanks again!

I appreciate EA so much. They don t charge you crazy rates and they aren t like other companies in this industry who often can be patronizing and mansplain. Pricing is reasonable and they re efficient and fast. I recommend EA to other people all the time. Highly recommend!

Love Everett St. Autoworks! I have been taking my car to them for over 15 years! They know how to fix cars. The don t oversell and they are honest and reasonably priced. I totally trust them!

I can t say enough good things about this place. I know quite a bit about my car & have taken care of it myself over the years but there are just some things I can t do & that s why I go to Everett. I never feel like I m being swindled, which as a woman, happens often when dealing with male mechanics. They are always upfront & honest about the work & the cost & they never do anything to my car without calling me about it first - which I greatly appreciate because there s nothing worse than picking up your car & getting a lengthy bill about things that you didn t even know about it. Anyway, this is my go to shop & that won t change anytime soon.

Everett also does such a good job. I just needed an oil change and I had a few questions about my tires. They were able to answer all of them, they were polite, answered my questions. Highly reccomend working with them.

I ve tried many auto shops, but mostly with great dissatisfaction. However, Everett Street Autoworks is simply the best in Portland. Honesty, efficiency, low cost and safety are the driving force for this shop. Highly recommended it!!! And a big plus: if they forgot to do something or was not corrected as expected, they don t blame me as many other shops do, they apologize and fix it, many times, at not extra cost. A truly amazing auto shop.

Finding a straightforward, honest repair shop is not easy these days. More often its a situation of the dealerships, and repair shops trying to squeeze every last dime from you. This can be an even more difficult find when it's your young adult daughter's car- repair shops are notorious for treating women differently. We had a completely different (excellent) experience with Everett Street Autoworks & Mechanics. Right off the bat, when speaking with Justin, he was friendly, and clear in explaining what the repair required, and how long the repair would take. When we finally scheduled the repair, they were transparent with the cost breakdown, and they were informative through the entire process. I should also add, their estimate came in at a third of the price than another repair shop just up the street.- Friendly/Customer Service, 5 stars- Honest, 5 stars- Quality of work, 5 starsI would definitely recommend this shop for all of your auto service needs.
