I went to Discount Auto for a pre-owned car. I test drove a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country Silver Van. It was in great condition and I purchased the van. The sales staff were exceptionally awesome and friendly. They handled all paperwork and financial services with grace and knowledge. I have bought other automobiles from this company and I have been pleased with all the autos. They also do oil changes and auto repairs.

A wonderful, family owned and operated business. They are honest, upfront, and their pricing is very fair. I purchased a car from their dealership next door, Autobon Auto Sales and continue to have the vehicle serviced by them. Had a misfire on my mini and engine light. Made a dozen phone calls and they were able to fit me in the same day. Took the car straight back, diagnosed and replaced the coil and spark plugs in under an hour. Fantastic serviceService: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I don't recommend this place whatsoever. They replaced the timing belt kit and the head job for my Honda Odyssey, I paid $2800 for it.Last week I was planning to do a long road trip and requested my mechanic to inspect it, and he found out the timing belt was rubbing against the water pump.I drove this van for approximately 10k miles after repair, but the timing belt kit should last at least 50k miles. He refuses to replace it because the warranty time has passed. I will start the court process next week.Service: Engine repair

Five stars isn't enough to say what a great shop this is. My wife and I have been going here for about eight years now and they are hands down the most honest and fair shop in the business not to mention great prices. One time I thought my transmission was going out so I told them that I think I need a new transmission. He looked at my van and a couple minutes later he let's me know that it's just a small chip that needs replacing and the cost would only be $20I wonder if this is the same service I could get any where else. I doubt it. Thanks again discount auto for all you've done over the years and for the hundreds if not thousands of dollars you've saved us. Keep up the good work.

Don t ever go here and if u do please don t forget anything important or expensive in your vehicle my Shoes we re stolen out of my trunk and they had no reason for the trunk to ever even be opened. Upon bringing this to the owner s attention he disregarded it and said no one opened my car and I misplaced my shoes lmao this place is a joke said my car would be done in a week I picked it up a month and a half later and they hadn t touched it I wouldn t recommend this shop to anyone

I do not recommend this place. I called to set up an appointment and when I showed up for the appointment I was told that they had no idea I was coming. When I left my car with them I told them the codes that I scanned and what I wanted them to look at. They then told me that they would call me when they had a diagnostic.I had to call them the next day to see if they were finished. They finished "diagnosis" a few hours earlier. When I went to pick the car up they only hooked it up to a scanner and then told me the codes that they got (which were the same that I told them) and didn't do any other diagnostic work to verify. Then they charged me $75. $75 for information that I already knew and asked them to double check because they have equipment I don't. I ended up doing the repair for way less than they quoted as well.Maybe it was just my experience or the day, but I can't recommend this to anyone who is not mechanically inclined. I worry they may try to rip you off. If you choose to go here, shop around and get multiple quotes and diagnostic checks before picking.

You will not find a more honest, reputable, accommodating and reliable auto repair shop in the Portland area. They are a family run business with your best interests at hand. Just great people. We purchased a vehicle from their used auto shop, Autobon Auto Sales, which is on the same property, and were very impressed. Emile went above and beyond to take care of us. My husband and I were in need of a safe, reliable car for our kids to share. After hours of looking we came in to look at a specific vehicle that caught our eyes from the inventory posted on their website. Emile made a special trip that evening (after hours) to meet us at his shop. After we explained that we needed an additional vehicle for our teenagers, he steered us in the direction of another car of the same make and model, which happened to cost less than the original vehicle we intended to check out. He said "if this was for my son, I would choose this car over that car". He explained his reasoning which made good sense to us and we drove home with a new car to surprise our kids. They were beyond thrilled and we were very satisfied. From that point on we have chosen Discount Auto to service our other vehicles. Emile and his family are intelligent service and sales providers with ethical business practices and strong core values. Just good people.

Discount Auto is the only place I'll go. They saved me twice and this is how. My car was low on antifreeze so I thought I had a leak. I took it to Honest 1. They told me I needed a water pump and at the same time they should replace the timing chain. The estimate was over 1200.. When I got the car back the light on the dash that indicates your coolant is low was no longer working. I called them and asked if they had disconnected anything. They said no they wouldn't do that. It was probably a sensor. I didn't like their estimate or trust them about the light so I decided to take it to Discount Auto. They found two wires that weren't connected for the warning light. They also told me that my car wasn't leaking anywhere. They said the water could have simply evaporated. That was three months ago and it hasn't lost water since. Yesterday I took my car into Master Tech because oil was in the??? I don't remember what it's called but it's a place oil wouldn't normally be found. They said I needed a PCV valve and it had to be replaced with the valve cover gasket. It would cost around 650.. I called discount Auto for another price. There price was so much lower I said you must be making a mistake the PCV valve is 172. Just for the part. He said he wasn't wrong bring the car and the estimate in. I called some parts places to see how much the valve was from them. No one had it listed. I even called the dealer and they didn't either. When I brought the car in right away the mechanic said it doesn't have a PCV valve and it's normal to have oil there when a car doesn't have one. I should have taken my car to Discount Auto in the first place both times. They have done work for me in the past and it was excellent. I never knew finding an honest shop could be so hard.

Very shady company run by very sketchy people. By far the worst shop I ve ever delt with. They sold me a bad transmission under the table and refused us a receipt, despite buying it from the business. They refused to make the situation right and now we are out over $1500 even after they held our car for over 6 months and did nothing with it. Do not trust these guys with anything.

Amazing the diagnostic charge was credited to my acct when I choose to have the work performed there. It was very reasonably priced as well. Basically a free diagnostic

These are awesome got quoted a ridiculous price at les swaub Over 150 ! These guys ended up doing it for 50 bucks! How can u beat that not only impeccable customer service but very knowledgeable as well theses are awesome will be a life long customer from now on thanks guys !
