Darrel's was recommended to me from an auto body shop when I needed my catalytic converters replaced. They did great work, priced well and finished the job efficiently.I had a rattling noise just today and wasn't sure what it was, gave them a call and told me to bring it in. Turns out it was some gasket that they fixed quickly and had me on my way in no time. Great customer service and attention to detail. Appreciate their kindness!

They were amazing. My restore in progress 72 Chevy Nova needed a new exhaust system. I wanted dual pipe exhaust using new mufflers I already had. He got under there, asked me what I was looking to get out of it and also told me what he'd recommend. His suggestions were spot on! Looks great, sounds great and added to the cars appearance and value. Went with dual exhaust that came down behind both rear tires. Highly recommend!Thanks guys!!Service: Exhaust

We went to Darrel's to get a second opinion as the auto shop we went to at first gave us an estimate that was marked up over 75%. I'm so thankful that we did because they showed us what the real issue was and it was not what we were told it was. They had my spouse come and look while the van was up in the air to make sure we knew they were being truthful. Not only that, the price for the repair was $726 cheaper than what we were quoted at the 1st auto shop. I cannot recommend these guys enough. I'm beyond grateful that they were kind, honest, and didn't take advantage of us.

Amazing service. Got me in immediately and let me provide my own muffler for my 98 ranger and very very reasonably priced. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

When I arrived the guy (owner?) went to talk to another customer who was leaving and said "I'll be right back" and then it took twenty minutes, which obviously feels like an eternity when you're waiting. But I chose not to be annoyed because I figured, you know, if there was something going on with my car that required a twenty minute explanation I'd like them to take the time to talk to me without rushing it.When he was free he pulled my rig into the bay, gave me a diagnosis within like three minutes that matched what my mechanic had told me was needed, and said they could do it right then in about 45 minutes. I went next door to Sandy's Myanmar restaurant and had some samosas (also five stars!) and by the time I finished them the work was done. I'm not a car guy so I have no idea if they did a good job or not, but the vehicle is a lot quieter now so that's probably a success! And the price was surprisingly low.

Darrel s has great customer service! They will replace your catalytic converter for an affordable rate and it comes with a warranty. Didn t have an appointment and they got me in and out in less than an hour. He even threw in some work for free. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for good work to be done on your car this is the spot but they did not do it in a timely manner at first there estimate was 3 hours to replace my catalytic converter, 3 hours go by and the job still isn t done. After the first day it took them 5 hours and they said I still had to come back due to a missing part I come back the next day when they told me to and they dropped the ball again 3 days later I come back to have them finish in total it took them 11 hours to finish the job very disappointing when I was recommended this place.

They replaced two catalytic converters on my 2006 Ford F150. I changed them because my check engine light was on and per a diagnostic check at AutoZone it was recommended to change both the catalytic converters. I got two off market catalytic converters from Tony's World where I bought my truck and took them to Darrel's and requested that they both be replaced. They had the job completed quickly and the check engine light is gone. Thank you Darrel's Economy Mufflers you all did a great job!

First time customer. Got my exhaust done on my CLASSIC truck, came home and found a message written on it this is not how you treat customers. It s really creepy.Went back and got it switched out, got a I m sorry but it was a waste of my time and made me really uncomfortable.Really, who does that? Not a good way to run business.

They professionally enhanced my custom year "Whip" with tips and gave my son a more than reasonable price on a catalytic converter replacement from theft. I was given a great custom unique tail pipe chrome tip look along with getting loving parental points from my son through their professional service, expertise and advice!

This place is the best!!! Everywhere else quoted me upwards of $600-700 to replace my cat that some theif cut off. But the guys here did it for $350!!! They are super nice and very helpful!! Thanks so much!!!!

I was pleased with the work from start to finish. The whole process took 45 - 55 mins. I had mid muffler deleted and two rear mufflers deleted and had Magnaflows installed with new rear pipes and tips. Sounds great and really feel the difference in performance.

Good place to take your car for a cataylitic converter replacement. The procedure isn't cheap anywhere, but they did a good job and will diagnosis your check engine light for exhaust problems and give you the code readout, saving you some money in certain circumstances.

When we pulled up they knew exactly what had happened. Our catalytic converter had been stolen. They replaced it for $750. Before we drove off we had to pull up to the garage again because they didn t reset the check engine light. The car was loud but not as loud as not having a converter so, we drove off.The past two weeks we ve been wondering why our Prius was so loud. We even had planned on going back in to have it looked at, because it sounded like it had a hole in it. Well, last night someone tried to steal our catalytic converter again. This time they stopped short, because apparently they part they installed was worthless, even to thieves.

Darrel's is definitely different than any other mechanics shop I have been to. It's first-come-first-serve, which was good to know ahead of time. My regular mechanic told me I needed a new catalytic converter and O2 sensors. Darrel's asked me if I had check engine light codes popping up for those. I had misfires, which warranted the converter, but not O2 sensors. So don't clear codes before coming here. They will clear them when they're done with the work. The price was better than any other shop I called and they were quick (just about an hour). It would be 5 stars, but the first guy I spoke to told me it would be $450, then a different guy charged me $475.

I called several muffler shops, Darrel's had the best price. They replaced my muffler and more very quickly. Not only did I recieve friendly and honest service, the price I paid after the repair was LESS than the quote over the phone. I highly recommend.

We needed a broken muffler bracket repaired. We called Darrell's because they were on our travel path. What a great find. They got us right in; made the repair quickly and sent us on our way. When we ASKED for a bill we were just told "no worries". Their work was first rate. We had this same repair made at a different facility and it did not last. This however is working as expected. I would give ten stars for a professional job well done by friendly staff.

Came in with what I thought was a torn isolator and turned out to just be out of place. They got me right in and five mins later had me on my way at no charge!! Really nice guys. Will be sending people there for the service alone. Thanks!!

If you ever had your vehicle worked on in Portland you'll soon learn there is a few repitital shops that's been around from the beginning.. and they all seem to k you ow one another..This shop is one of those places.Thank you team for turning a quote from another shop into a long forgotten memory, just under 45 mins and literally the cheapest and well purchased solution

Bay was full when I got there and still had resonator and muffler replaced in less than an hour. Favorite part is my new shiny tail pipe. Good service, very straight forward and felt very respected as a female customer. Highly recommended.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust
