Kristian came out when our garage door stopped working and was able to recommend a new door. He walked us through the process of ordering it and it was delivered within 2 weeks. On installation day, Kristian and Anthony did a great job installing our garage door, cleaning up after themselves, and making sure we were happy with the results. I will definitely recommend D&L to friends and neighbors in the future.

Called D&L to have my one of my garage door springs replaced. They were able to respond quickly and arrived on time. I didn't have to deal with any pressure for additional services but we did talk about how to get more longevity out of my set up. Great service and competitive pricing.

I am not typically one to leave a review, but this is an occasion that deserves one. WOW, Daniel was the service technician that came out to fix my door. He was every bit a professional. He answered honestly all my questions and was a good listener. He was knowledgeable about what was needed and did not stand around and waste any time. He immediately got to work and was quick, efficient and thorough. I wish him all the best. Thank you D+L, great service!

Daniel, our service tech was very kind and communicative. Did a great job installing the door. We appreciated someone following up with us to make sure they understood the design style we were looking for. Only downside was the manufacturer took twice as long to produce the door and the communication could have been better, albeit all this happened over the holidays.

The man who fixed my garage door opener was great. He was pleasant and on time. He had to work around the storm damage in my garage due to a busted water pipe and a ceiling with many holes in it. He explained everything to me, and was very quick. It was a fantastic job. Thanks

I set up a repair appointment with D&L garage doors. The technician was there on time. He asked me to push the button for the garage door to verify it didn t work. He said it needed to be replaced. He then charged me a $95 dollar service fee without even stepping foot in my garage or testing the garage door himself. He was on site less than three minutes. I understand why companies charge fees for showing up but the assumption is they don t show up solely to collect the fee. I wasn t expecting him to do much but I was expecting something.I would ve felt a lot better if he had ran any kind of quick test, explained what he thought may have caused it to fail, or done anything more than get out of his truck and demand payment. I will not be using this company for anything in the future.

I had them replace garage door springs. They tried to get me to replace the opener as well due to its age, but I declined because it was still working just fine.6 months later, the opener goes out. 1) My tenants requested I get someone else because the woman didn t feel comfortable with the service men and 2) when the other company came to replace it, they said the springs weren t wound enough when they were installed, putting additional weight on the opener and accelerating it wearing out.I can t prove they intentionally under wound the springs to cause the opener to go out after I declined the service but that s definitely how it feels. Bad work regardless.Edit to respond: I already admitted the opener was old, the point is that the springs were not wound enough. They claim they reached out but have not (and if they did, should have left a message). The long response doesn't add any new information to my review, only seems to try and "gotcha" me by making me a cautionary tale and quoting my phone call. There's nothing "respectful" about that, definitely still 1 star.

D&L was a great option for me. The visit to estimate was quick - and the choices were right for my garage. Parts came in within a couple weeks and the appointment was made. The installation was just what I ordered, took as long as was projected and it looks and works like a dream. My installer left the space clean and better than he found it - with the new equipment! My thanks to all the polite and skilled professionals at D&L.

My property manager hired this company to repair a garage door in Portland on a rental property. When I visited the property much later the garage door would not stay open to the full height of the garage opening--the sectional door hung 8" below the door header. This seems to me like a glaring installation deficiency.Long story short is that getting the door to open to proper height and stay there without blocking it in place required a $184. service call, for work that should have been done right in the first place. Not a happy camper with that situation.Nice to see that others have had better luck with this company than me.Kris CalvinSisters, OR

The very noisy antique garage door opener in the house I just purchased suddenly died, and D&L Garage Doors was able to schedule me in on short notice for a replacement. The D&L tech explained my various options clearly and did not pressure me in selecting the best package for my property and budget. Installation was quick and professionally handled. I'm feel very safe and satisfied with my new and improved opener system!

I went into the shop to purchase a set of torsion springs for my garage door. I wasn't sure which ones I needed and asked Vlad for help. He was very helpful. He called a technician to verify which springs I should get and he gave me tips on how to do it. He was very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend D&L.

Great company and service. My garage spring failed and they sent someone out within 3 days and he completed the repair quickly and efficiently. This is my second time using the company (1st was a garage door motor replacement) and I have been extremely satisfied with the service both times. Great technicians and service.

Chris, the repair guy, arrived and assessed my situation. He did a good job explaining my options. Since the job was bigger than I expected Chris suggested breaking it into two separate jobs. I will be arranging to make the needed changes with D&L when I can. I would recommend D&L.

The garage door is beautiful and the installer we dealt with was very courteous, however they said it would be 4 to 6 weeks, try 13 weeks later. When they were finally installing they did not have a set of left and right springs, so instead of getting the correct springs they installed with two rights which looks awkward and not right. Then we asked for black trim and they brought white. Which left the door unfinished for 5 additional days. For all of our troubles the manager chose not to call us back after we left several messages for him. This was a terrible experience. I wouldn t recommend this company to my worst enemy.

My garage door was damaged from the storm and would not open. They came out the next day and installed new tracks and a motor in a matter of hours and were so kind and worked around my schedule. I would definitely recommend them to others!

Tried to fix my garage door myself but despite following directions from many videos and ordering what I thought was perfect new springs online, I ended up cranking 2x proper tension into the springs and many problems ensued. I called D&L and next day they sent very helpful technician and he used software to calibrate proper tension and reset system and replaced the parts I broke. I averted any injuries but perhaps I was lucky. Think twice before you replace springs yourself. Call the experts they have the skills and tools to do things safely.

Amazing ServiceI like most of you did a search on the web for garage door repair. DL garage doors was my first hit. I read their reviews and gave them a call. My initial response was good because the tech that answered my call was very nice.Christian (10+) came out to my house on 11/20 to go over some of the issues I was having with my door, not clothing properly all the time, and the rubber at the bottom being worn out.He not pressuring, but very kindly suggested I upgrade instead of repair an old system I am so glad I listened to him. The additions he made were very quick, and the prices were reasonable. I really enjoyed working with him and look forward to telling others how great D&L is.I highly recommend D&L garage doors and Locksmithadditional comments:11/27/23I attempted to install the application on my watch. I entered the wrong information and locked up the garage door. Definitely call first before you go, even if it's during their posted business hours. Then after you get there, don't pay attention to the sign that says "Will Return At ___." They might not come back at all. That's what happened to me. Going there was a huge waste of time, at a time when I needed fast help.
