Stopped by to chat with Chris over at Cycletune. He was very generous with his time and was insightful/educational with kind, constructive feedback on what I was looking to do. It s obvious he is meticulous with his work and will shoot you straight with what to expect out of his shop. He clearly cares about doing things to spec, doing clean work and not cutting corners. When asking around other shops that don t work on Harley Davidsons, everyone had no problem recommending this shop. Thanks for your time, Chris!

Outstanding service! Although it took a few days to get the initial estimate (24k Service on a 2015 FJ-09), once I brought it in, it was smooth. They looked over the bike, discussed any concerns I might have, and then took her in. Got a call late the next day saying it was done. Picked up the bike and they discussed what they did for the service, again asking if I had any concerns. Both guys I spoke with were super nice and genuinely cared about my concerns. A LOT of other companies could learn a thing or two about customer service from these folks. I'll be bringing all my bikes here from now on!

Quality work by quality people. Reasonably priced. Very happy with my experience at this shop. Bikes never run better:)

They weren't prepared for me to pick up the bike at the time that I had called and confirmed with them that morning. The bike fluids were refilled in a hurry and leaking when started (a result of a loose bolt - easily fixed). This was all very minor, but the topper is thay they were not very friendly - seemed annoyed at me because I didn't want to sell my broken bike to them - sold private party for double what they were offering. They did seem to know their stuff, just not a very good experience on my end.

I brought my bike in for an inspection and to get the ball rolling on some basic maintenance and a few minor upgrades and was really excited at first. The owner started telling me I need things like new grips, hand guards, things I wasn't interested in having installed. He proceeded to mock me saying I don't want to spend too much. The next day I get a phone call expecting to receive my quote. The secretary complains to me about having a meeting with the owner really late at night about my bike and tells me it's too much work for them. I was expecting to purchase one of the offered service packages? I then inquired about at least getting new tires - I was told this was too much also.Bad service all around, I'd avoid this place.

I had my cbr 600f4i worked on for leaky fork seals. Everybody there is super chill and easy to work with and talk to. They replaced my fork seals with top quality parts and I also needed my front brake pads done after fork oil got all over them and what really made me realize they care is even after they changed the pads and cleaned everything up they were by no means obligated to do anything else but they also bled and changed out the brake fluid at no extra charge, which actually made the brakes work properly again. Great guys that seem to love working on bikes.

I really appreciate the honesty Chris and Rob have. They are up front about the costs and do a great job. I am a pretty good mechanic and usually do a lot of my own maintenance, but there are some jobs I like to leave to the professionals. Reasonable prices make if hard to justify doing some of the dirty awkward jobs myself. Thanks for all you ve done for our bikes Cycletune!

These guys are great! I stopped by to have them remove a stripped derby cover screw and they got me right on the lift. Reasonable price and very knowledgeable about what my bike needs. Chris really took an interest in my planned stage 1 upgrade and had some great suggestions that I hadn't heard from anyone else. Glad I found Cycletune, dont think I'll be going anywhere else!!

I've been coming here for maintenance on my bike for a year now and I'm always really happy with their work. Chris has always been really informative about what he's working on, and has always gone above and beyond my expectations. Everyone else at Cycletune has always been very friendly and helpful. I've recommended this place to friends and will continue to do so.

They were extremely friendly and helpful. Could not be any happier with this business. They did what they said they were going to do and in the time that they said they were going to do it, for the price they said they were going to do it for . They did a Dyno tune on my Harley that I thought ran pretty good and just wanted to make it as good as it could be. However I was not expecting it to be as big of an improvement as it was. It runs amazingly thank you.

Being new in town, I didn't know where to take my bike to have a rear tire replaced. This shop had good reviews, so I figured it was a safe bet. They didn't have the tire I needed, so they had to order it from the east coast, which took several days. I was getting kind of stressed, because it was the last day before my ride and they were still not sure if the tire would arrive. At 3pm the day before my ride, they told me I could pick it up. When I got there, I thought the bike looked cleaner than I remembered...after replacing the tire and lubing/adjusting the chain, they had wiped it down and it looked almost new. When I went to pay, Kevin gave me a discount "for being patient." These guys are true professionals and they have a new customer.

The work that comes out of this shop is great, the knowledge and experience is of the the highest I have seen. The one thing I didn't like is that the mechanic seemingly talked down to me when I was a humble and excited customer yet pretty much told me everything I said was right and he was right. In the end, a month later I got my bike back and paid over 1G for the work. Also would like me to come back in a few months for adjustments. You'll get quality work for a price. Also the Tattooed guy doesn't say anything and just stares a lot.

Chris and Rob do most of the work on our bikes, and their work is excellent!Owning a motorcycle is not cheap and repairing or servicing one is not cheap either, but Chris runs a good shop, and his prices are reasonable for the work he provides!Cycletune is reliable, it's prices are fair, and the service Kevin & the mechanics offer is friendly!

Work is done right, cheaper than the dealer and in a reasonable time frame. If you're looking to be buddies with the guys in your local bike shop look somewhere else, but I'm fine with that. They've always treated me with respect, regardless of the dumb questions I've thrown at them. I personally prefer to discuss things over email as it gives them time to look into the issue and come back with a fix and a price. Never once been overcharged or charged more than the quote. If your bike needs something that wasn't quoted, they always call before they start that work so you don't get hit with surprises. Would highly recommend. They also do classes every couple months on racing stuff which is pretty cool.

I brought in a used '05 CRF250X that I just bought for a tuneup. The guys at Cycletune did an awesome job. You can tell they know bikes and love what they do. As a newbie to dirt biking Chris and Rob were super helpful and walked me through the tuneup they performed, general maintenance and tips. This is a great shop with great people that make you feel welcome the moment you step in the door.Take your bike to Cycletune and you'll see what I mean.

We'very been taking both our bikes (a Honda & a Kawasaki) to Chris @ Cycle tune for a little under a year. The work is expert, and the customer service is both professional and exceptional! They are amazingly organized, and that shop is clean! Both Rob and Chris have worked on our bikes and both are excellent! We trust them to give us an honest assessment of the work that needs to be done and to quote us a fair price. One ding - they are not very timely in their communications, which, in our experience, seems to be a common problem with MC shops.

I looked them up a day before a long ride and I needed new tires installed. Rather than attempting to squeeze me in the next day somewhere between all their scheduled appointments these guys stayed a half hour past closing on a Friday to get the bike ready for a once in a lifetime trip, and they didn't even know about it. Very awesome, very impressed, and now a very loyal customer. Nice work.

Short version: Reasonable price, good work. Not very professional though.Long Version: He criticized my bike for being dirty, the price they quoted me once I was there was 33% above what they quoted me over the phone (but then when he actually did the work it didn't take as long as he thought so they were back down to pretty much the same price I was originally quoted).Would rate five stars for the quality of work and honesty (how many mechanics will only charge you for the time they worked vs. the time they quoted?) but only one star for professionalism and customer interaction.

Extremely helpful people. I've taken two motorcycles there so far and they do quality work. By far, best experience ever and most educational since they tell me what exactly I'm looking at. I recommend every rider in Portland and surrounding areas to give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Great customer service. I was there to replace a valve stem on my R1 and they quoted me a price but when I came to pickup the bike they charged me only half of that. I respect the honesty and putting customer first. I will definitely be back and refer them to my friends. A++

I went in to see if someone could take a look at a front fork only I removed and brought with me in my truck. Not only did they take a look but he fixed it in 5 mins. I asked to pay and offer anything, and Chris refused. Best place hands down. Went to 2 other shops asked the same question and they told me to bug off.Can t wait to have my bike tuned here once it s all put back together. Thanks guys.

I took my Yamaha SR400 in for the 600 mile service and then my husband and I decided to put some lights on the back of the motorcycle. Since I am new to motorcycles, the advice Chris and Deana gave us was very good! They recommended heated hand grips and informed us on the benefits of front shocks. We had many requests and then many changes of various accessories, and Chris and Deana were very helpful, with lots of patience with us and our many, many questions and changes. The work performed was very good, with attention to detail. No wires show, the new Power Commander was programmed and tucked neatly under the seat with easy access for us. Really high quality work. I really recommend taking your motorcycle to Cycletune....you won't be disappointed.

Took my Drz400 in for its first service and found the crew at Cycletune to be professional and friendly. They had told me that they were booked out a week and a half but managed to get my bike back to me in 4 days. They even found me a replacement blinker for and didn't charge me. I will definitely be going back to them in the future and will send as much business their way as I can.

More expensive than the dealer. This is pertaining to the price I was quoted over the phone by one of their staff. 2020 honda cb300r, 8k Service. Didn't seem to know that make of bike intimately. That's one reason to choose the dealership.

Quality service, great communication, on time and under budget! The guys at Cycletune in Portland know their stuff, and have the experience I was looking for to get my motorcycle fixed correctly. I dropped my bike off for minor repairs, and allowed Chris to work his magic on my 15 year old motorcycle. I thought my bike was in pretty good shape when I dropped it off, but when I picked it up it's like a brand new bike! From mike original conversation with Chris to the very last word before I drove away, I fell like I was dealing with a true professional. Deanne help me every step of the way in terms of products that were being installed on the bike, and called occasionally to let me know that they're still working on it. I was always in the loop about what was going on. When you have service like this, there's no reason to do it yourself. I will trust these guys with my bike anytime!

I'm a new rider and Jason really took the time to answer all my questions and explain things to me. He fit me in right away and got my repair done in less time and for less money than I had anticipated. He is extremely knowledgable, very through, incredibly reasonable and a really nice guy. The whole vibe of this shop is awesome, so glad I found it!!

I went to this shop and asked them if they could replace a clutch cable. The guy said it would depend on the bike, also if I had my own clutch cable, upon telling him a very common bike model he said he wasn't too sure and sort of just had this blank stare. Also seemed very agitated, I don't know maybe this place is just for larger projects and they didn't really want to deal with something small.
